Enpass Support & Troubleshooting

I've enjoyed using Enpass for a couple of years now, purchased a license too. However, as of late my Enpass window keeps "Not Responding" when I try to use it. I've uninstalled it, removed all registry entries and reinstalled it. This has not solved the issue. I've been installing it from the Windows Store. I've downloaded the manual install as well directly from the Enpass website, but it's doing the same thing. When I use it on my Android phone or my Surface Go (Windows Store version) I have absolutely no issues and it works fantastically. My database is 1.25mb and resides in OneDrive.

Just updated to 6.0.2 on my Windows computer and when I try to login to my Google Drive account to sync my vault it just sits on the redirected to Google Drive login page with the spinning icon. Nothing opens in my Enpass app or my default browser, Chrome. It seemed to pull in all of my existing files but just does not pull up a login screen to be able to sync the vault.

Hi, Since the update to 6.03 the ownCloud connection no longer works. This is the case if a blank exists in the directory name. A super update Please UPDATE

Can confirm this personally on Android and Windows 10 and as others have posted in the Forum it seems to be the case for all other platforms as well. Something like this should definitely not happen and will make people reconsider your product - especially considering your recent announcment. It should have been noticed before an update has been released. Please add your voice or a +1 to this post so the devs see this as quickly as possible.

Here is my question : can i access my passwords (generated by enpass) from a foreign computer (for example : from a cybercoffe abroad)? WIthout installing enpass on it i mean... Hi, i've Enpass on iPhone and i forgot master password because I access with touch ID. Now I want to use it on Mac and I don't know how to restore master password. Ther's a way to change this password on phone or trasfer all password on new DB with new passowrd? Thank you.

When I recently inserted my first passwords into Enpass, I decided to add «Tags» to all my entries. With that, I want to make sure to find entries later on, whose title I may possibly not remember, since I need them very rarely, but hopefully I will still know to which of my activities (=Tags) they belong.

Hi, I'm using Enpass on iPhone and Windows 10. Both are synced via NextCloud. To increase the security I would like to add a key-file. Is it possible at all, to add a key file to an existing tresor? If not, how can I copy all my data to a new tresor that is based on a key-file? Thanks, Thorsten

Hi, Enpass supports Keyfiles already for some while already. As my tresor is a bit older, I was wondering if there is a way to add keyfile to existing tresor.

Hi There, I am currently running the Android version of Enpass (v6.8.2.666) on an Asus Chromebook Flip C536 (model #: C536EA-BI3T3, ChromeOS v102.0.5005.75). Is that the "right way" to be running Enpass on a Chromebook? Because, if it is, then Enpass is very unstable in this configuration. The Android app locks up frequently & closes unexpectedly & repeatedly. I really love Enpass & have been using it for years. I'd hate to have to give it up at this point just because I've moved to a Chromebook. Any help/thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! - Rory

I have the instance on my Android device which is running 6.4.0.320, however the instance on my Windows 10 is still 6.3. Both of them sync to the same OneDrive account. But I found that they have create different folder for the vault. It doesn't happened before, and I think it might caused from the updated version of the instance on my Android device. I have tried many way but it looks like 2 vaults is not compatible to the other instance. Is it a bug on the updated version? When I try to import a shared entry from clipboard I get an error (‘shared element is invalid…’). This error appears every time while starting enpass. How can I stop it and why failed the import ?

I am able to log into Enpass local database on my PC, but I can't do it on the Enpass app in my Android phone. When I try to sync using my PC, I am asked to provide password of Enpass data on Google drive. I made a mistake, and changed the master password on my phone and I must have made a mistake writing the new master password down on paper and now can light ibto my Enpass databàe. I tried changing the Master Password on my PC local Enpass database and it worked but I still can not sync the phone database with Google drive. Hey guys, I'm using Ansible to deploy some services, and inside the config some variables are encrypted using Ansible Vault. Usually I need to copy-paste the password from Enpass to the terminal when Ansible asks for the password, but it also supports passing a path to an executable file that should print the password to stdout so that it can access for example the system keyring. Er gebeurt alleen niets en bijlage komt niet. Heb een paar bijlagen opgeslagen en opnieuw toegevoegd,. Dat werkte. EDIT 5 Nov 2018 (10 months later): the problem is still here in v5.6.8. The Windows client does not fetch updated entries edited in the Android or MacOSX clients (but Linux, Android, MacOSX update just fine). I have the Android app v5.6.4 and the Windows v5.6.5. I created a sync with my own webdav server. It works fine, except one tricky part: if I edit an item in Windows that exists in both Android, it syncs and i can see the new edits in Android. Hi there, I have the following problem with Enpass on all plattforms: Sometimes the synchronisation of a vault halts. I don't know why or when that happens, since I'm not being notified. I only realize this, when I cannot find an entry or cannot log into an account, because the changes were made on a different device. I then have to open settings -> vaults -> choose vault -> syncronize: to get the information, that I need to reenter the password for the syncing of this vault. This is really annoying and can lead to errors and at least, lost time. Since what usually happens is: I cannot log into an account, try 3 times or more, block the account, reset t…

Importing a Pre-formatted CSV as "Other Miscellaneous" Adds empty Fields "Field 1" and "Field 2" to ALL imported items. I am guessing this is because the built-in template for "Other Miscellaneous" has "Field 1" and "Field 2" as generic Fields to "get you started"??? I believe removing these Fields from the "Other Miscellaneous" Template would resolve this issue. Using: Enpass 6.4.2 (632) On a side note: it would be nice to be able to select a Custom Template for importing items.

I created a 30+ character password with both upper and lower case letters, symbols, and numbers, with no words in it, and Enpass flags it as a "weak" password. This happens in Mac OS X (6.6.1 (809)) as well as Android (6.7.1.572).

Hello If the person I am sharing the pre shared key object with does not have enpass installed is there a way she can decipher it? I use case is one on which the person does not own or have access to a desktop and therefore cannot install the free version of enpass. Thanks
