Dear Community, I am using Enpass since years. Now, after several years, I found out that I forgot my Masterpasswort. I can access ma Data via TouchID on my iPhone. I would -of course- like to have a passwort as backup access in case the iPhone fails some time. I understand that I cant restore the passwortm which is a safety feature. So far, so good. The Questios: Is it possible, to install the Desktop version, create a new Masterpasswort and write all the Passwords and access data manually into it and sync it after that with the iphone? Like this: 1. Install the Enpass Desktop on the Windows machine 2. Create a new data base with new Masterpassword 3. Move all data manualla one by one onto the Desktop version 4. after that, delete the enpass and re-install it using the new Masterpasswort and database from the onedrive or dropbox Is that clear enough for you guys? I simply don't want to spend the time to enter all passwords into he destop version if I can't import the data later to the iPhone. On the other hand, I don't want to spend the time to mover the passwords etc temporarily to a Excel or Word sheet and back from there if it is not neccessary. Thanks from Germany for your help Electrixer

Hi, when I upload a custom icon in Enpass, the vault/database file size increases on my local computer and on my cloud storage, of course. But when I delete an icon, it disappears, but the file size of the Enpass database doesn't decrease. Is the icon really deleted? This is the reason why I don't use custom icons yet, because I'd always increase the file size of the Enpass database file every single time I test whether an icon I upload looks good in the item list or not and I don't want that. Is there a way to completely delete an icon and restore the original file size of the database as it was before uploading the icon? Is this maybe a bug? Thanks in advance!

Hello Everyone I'm trying to import from my KeePass Database, but no matter which format I choose (*.csv, *.xml, *.html) and which encoding I use (UTF-8, ANSI) and which Enpass Version I use (Current release on Windows Store which I tried first or 32-Bit Beta Version which I tried after that) it always keeps saying "nothing to import". The Manual of Version 6.2 says it should be possible: https://www.enpass.io/docs/manual-desktop/import_keepass.html Can you guys help me? Kind regards Nick

Hi everybody, I just felt like sharing a little script that I created for my personal use a while ago. Since I have read that a lot of users are still using Enpass below V6, I think that some could benefit from this script. It automatically copies your Enpass database from a folder to another, in particular to the iCloud Drive folder in Windows, since iCloud support was not active by default. It is written in Python and it can be modified easily as I put a lot of comments, in order to help every kind of user. By giving a look at the Readme you can find all the details about the script along with some useful tips. Here is the GitHub link. I hope this can help some of you. Cheers!

How may I create a *printed* (text) version of my database? We just got a safe deposit box. In the event that one or both of us gets run over by a semi, it would be a nice to have a *printed* copy of all our online account information available, in our safe deposit box, for those who deal with the remnants. That way, they wouldn't have to figure out our devices, the enpass app (and how to use it) and passwords all around. Is there a way to make a simple text printed version? Or do I need to do that by hand?

Hi, one or two times a day, when i put my finger on the Touch id sensor, database is empty. sometimes it is when i try lo log in on the chrome plugin, sometimes when i login on the desktop enpass app. I have to close and relaunch the desktop app to recover the database. I have tried to delete everything and install everything again on my mac : enpass desktop, enpass plugin on chrome, enpass folder with saved data... What do you think?

Hi I have a feature request respectively an idea. I support family members and friends. Therefore I have also stored the data of this persons also in enpass but I don't need this logins often. Therefore it is not very comfortable that when I need to login to a website that also all other login data will be provided. Attached to this post is a screenshot. Only one of the logins is my own account. The others are family members. Therefore It would be a good improvement to be able to separate them from my own data. Could be an option for the entrys like "Don't display" or put them in a separate location / database or similar

Hi Enpass Team, as you claim everywhere that Enpass is based on SQLCipher, an opensource technology, I decided to look by myself (not that I don't trust you, but i'm curious ;)). So, I installed sqlcipher and opened the database. It was easy to find the right parameters to decrypt the DB: PRAGMA cipher_default_kdf_iter = 24000; PRAGMA kdf_iter = 24000; PRAGMA key = '<PASSPHRASE>'; But now, I can't find where are the passwords. I would have thought they would be in the Cards table in the Data field, but it's obviously not, as (almost) all my Data fields have the same value. The passwords does not seem to be in the other tables. So, where are they? I surely missed something. Could you enlighten me? Thx!

Hey together, first of all thank you for creating such a nice software. But there is one big thing missing from my side. As i would like to use Enpass for privat usage and business cases i need to seperate the databases. So it would be awesome to have access to multiple databases in one application. Thank you =) swissindoor
