[SOLVED] The generated password is not the filled one

When I use the Password Generator to create a new password, the password I see is not the one that is entered in the field.

It seems that, when I press "Fill", it generates a new password and fills that one.

 

1. Create a new item with a password field

2. Click on "Generate" and look at the suggested password

3. Click on "Fill" and look at the inserted password: they mismatch.

Can you please let us know the following details so we can help you better:

  • On which device (along with OS version) are you using Enpass?
  • Which Enpass version are you using?
  • If possible, share the video of the issue so we can further investigate?

FYI - I came here for this too.  Using 6.4.1 as mentioned above.   Alternatively, I found that hitting the Copy button while in the Generate Password window generates a brand new password.

Ditto on this.  I've locked myself out of at least one online account because of this.

Update
 
We've released an updated version of Enpass(6.4.2) in which we have fixed this issue. Could you please take the backup of Enpass data manually and then update the app to the latest version and let us know if you're still encountering the same issue with the app?
