Feature requests

I like to see a feature in Enpass, under audit, which lists all items that have an attribute of type "Expiry Date" whose date is: Within 3 weeks Within 3 months In an unknown format This would help me keep track of (bank) cards or (drivers) licenses (or any other item) that will expire soon, and that I have to act upon. Note: I am explicitly referring to attributes of type "Expiry Date", not type "Date" (which also exists). Also, the "unknown format" will help track down field that are in a format not understood by Enpass (since Enpass does not seem to do any input validation for these fields).

Hello, Enpass Support! I use Enpass keyboard to autofill credit card in shopping apps and browser in Android. It's a great feature compared to other apps. I like it a lot. However when entering the card expiration date, I often have to select date manually from the list (not fill in like card number or name on card). I like the expiration date to show up at the same time while selecting or searching the card so i can see it. Please see the attached picture. I like a dark theme for the keyboard too. I like to see a feature in Enpass, under audit, which lists all website address that still use `http://` instead of `https://`. Current workaround: search for "http://" and you will get these yourself. However, it would be nice to have these under audit.

Hi It would be really helpful if we can able create logins in browsers/app rather opening Enpass and manually creating new logins. I think 1Password, Bitwarden, Dashlane has this feature. And it would be a lot of convenient.

You [Enpass] have few icons in your collection. And they cannot even be called basic, since there are too few of them. There is a function to get icons from Favicon. But you could create your own base and expand it at the request of clients, as Rocketbank did. Or display the "top" sites without a stylized icon on the forum so that people can draw what they need. I personally am ready to stylize more than 300 icons for Enpass-style. Be Rocket :rocket: :sparkles:

I understand the point of Enpass is to only have 1 password for everything but the point of a TOTP in theory is to require a second piece of information. I think Enpass should have the option to allow users to protect TOTP codes with a second, separate, master password so it can effectively function as an independent TOTP manager

I'm using Seafile to sync my Primary vault between devices. I'd like to create a new vault for shared passwords. However, according to the documentation here, it appears that only one vault can be synced. Can anyone provide some clarification on why that's the case? Are there any plans to lift this restriction at some point? Thanks for your work on this product! It's improved my life quite a bit.

Hi, I've finally switched from Dashlane and LOVE Enpass. I'm very meticulous with my password managers and have been spending quite a lot of time in Enpass getting familiar with it and setting up my items. Having said that, I have compiled a list of several things I'd like to see get implemented in a future version. Thanks so much and keep up the great work! In no particular order: Wherever you need to enter a date, it would be nice to have a calendar widget pop up to ensure dates are getting entered consistently throughout Enpass. I am using enpass on all my devices except one. I have a phone running GrapheneOS, it does not have google play services. Because of this Enpass crashes if you attempt to login/provide your email (I can import passwords from a cloud provider without issue). This is a problem because without logging into my enpass pro email, enpass only lists 10 passwords. I would request support for GrapheneOS/AOSP Android without play services, or if you can provide me more details on what parts of google play services Enpass is using, I could try to install MicroG or some other Play Services like service to try to get GrapheneOS close enough to Google Android so Enpass will st…

I use the windows store version of enpass on desktop, and have it set to start with windows when i log in. Right now Enpass is not doing that very well, mostly because i always see a CMD console window pop up and disappear directly after i log in. When i first didn't know that enpass triggered this window, i thought i had something like a virus on my PC. it would be nice if you could change this in a way to be less obstrusive, so that enpass starts up entirely invisible in the background.

I would like to be able to set some kind of status for each post. For example "Current", "Problem", "Obsolete", "Close" or something like this. Most valuable would be to be able to set them oneself, to override default settings. At the moment I use "xx" before the name for sites or accounts I should delete, "zz" for dormant use and "?" before the name if I don't even know what it is or if the password works anymore. It would be nice to be able to filter this inherently.

HTTP Auth Hi, what about the HTTP Auth support (in Firefox)? Here is an old thread: But there was no real answer, there already other password manager which can fill these auth windows, why not enpass? It's not really useable to open the password manager and copy the credentials by hand.

Hello, I would like to request this feature request: I would like to be able to lock entries via a lock so that people don't accidentally edit them. So if you have locked entries you would have to unlock them explicitly to be able to edit them. Thanks in advance.

When I create a password with symbols on it I found issues with websites (many) that only accept certain symbols. It is quite annoying to have to replace the symbols manually. In theory I could write in Enpass the Symbols to exclude but generally I do not know which are they. Website usually give you the opposite information, the allowed symbols. Therefore I would like to see an input field for the allowed symbols.

I would really love to see 2FA being enabled for the master account/authentication. In my opinion the weakest link is at the vaults and at the master password being not further protected by two/multi factor auth. Please add this feature Thanks

When editing an item, right now is needed to start typing to show an autocomplete with the already added tags. For a better UX it would be nice to show and be able to just click on an already proposed tag, perhaps 3 or 5 most common, or a dropdown with all of them.

For local web development I might use weak passwords like test, admin or 1234. Since it is a local environment it isn't a risk, but I get the Enpass warning. Would be nice to mark an item to deliberately weak

Apologies if this has been requested before. I would like the ability to have a drop down selection box for email address and username whereby you can select previously used when setting up a new record. This would save having to type out every time.

Hi, I'm absolutely loving Enpass so far, but I was wondering if it would be possible to make it easier to share passwords. Currently you have the amazing feature of allowing us to securely share a key between us and then encrypting passwords using that key. However, unless you select to share it as an email you get an ungodly long URL. However, if you do select the email option you receive a nice file. It would be nice to have the option of downloading the file without creating a blank email first on both mobile and desktop versions of Enpass. Both mobiles and PC's these days can let Enpass read the file without issue. Thank you.

Perhaps this is already there, but I couldn't find it. My suggestion is this. In the event of duress, someone threatening or police or other pressure, a pass phrase or word typed in, instead of the usual password, that would lock out, wipe or scramble all password data. Yes, you could refuse to give out the password, but as long as the data existed there would be the possibility that eventually they could find the password.

Currently, the only way to add a file attachment to a card is to click the 'Add File' button, navigate to the folder that contains the file, select file. It would be a lot simpler if the cards also supported drag and drop, i.e. you simply drag a file onto a card, and it gets added as a file to the card.

While I know the audit page has been contentious, I see the value of it. What I feel is lacking is features within that to do things with the information that's not manual. A prime example is identical passwords: sometimes this is because there's just duplicate entries (maybe you accidentally saved the app and website separate? maybe two different websites use the same login system, etc). It'd be great to have a merge option (wherever a field differs, copy it over as a new field), a suggested auto-merge button could be nice too (for entries where the only difference is that one has some additional fields over the other.
