Enpass has a convenient feature for saving Passkey, but it can be a hassle for users who want to use a physical security key. Specifically, when you want to register a new authentication key to a hardware security key, Enpass responds immediately to the registration dialog, and the Enpass unlock dialog appears on top. To register to a hardware security key, you need to cancel this and choose whether to save to the OS or the hardware security key. To make matters worse, some websites give up on registering Passkey as soon as you close the Enpass dialog. In this case, you have to kill Enpass before registering the key and restart it after registration, w…

I really appreciate the existing support for Linux but a further big improvement would be creating a flatpak version for use on any distribution. Especially now we are getting immutable distros that are only intended for use with Flatpaks. They seem to be the wave of the future.

Did the product group take a closer look into the CTAP2-spec i.e. so that we can use Enpass as an external authenticator on a smartphone while logging into a website on a different device. The scenario is the following user navigates to a website (i.e. github, any google-workspace or o365 app etc) app triggers passwordless auth user scans qr-code (or app triggers ctap handshake through nfc/ble) with enpass on smartphone and finishes login In that scenario it wouldn't be necessary to install enpass on the device, that triggers the login. Client to Authenticator Protocol (CTAP) Big news in our drive to eliminate passwords: FIDO2 / …

I am really enjoying Enpass. I switched from Bitwarden about 6 months ago. I had been with Bitwarden about a year after ditching Google Password Manager. I am very very pleased overall with this product. But one thing about it just doesn't make sense for how I use it: I have no desire to use any of the category functionality at all. This is fine on desktop; I can pretty much just hide it & forget it. But on Android, it is stuck there, in your face, unmovable. So my request is simply to let me hide the categories. I don't think they're useless for everyone; I'm not out to kill them off. I just personally don't have any use for them. I hope that's an easy one to do! You…

Enpass' passkey support is still very basic and lacks certain features that make it very inconvenient to use. I would like to see the following improvements: I don't want to re-type my master passwort if Enpass is already unlocked (desktop version). For a password I can just fill it out by selecting it from the list or dropdown. It should be that easy with a Passkey, too. Put a confirmation button there and only ask for authentication when Enpass is locked. 2fa codes are automatically copied to the clipboard after choosing a password entry. Not so after logging in with a passkey. Make it work. System integration. Enpass on desktops works via browser ex…

Hello Enpass Team… I wish to suggest the following change requests: The Browse Tab (2nd tab) The ability to rename items in Categories. The Search Tab (3rd tab) The recent list does not work correctly, nor does it list the most recent item(s) that were accessed or modified in correct order. This tab is redundant and there is NO need for it, as the first tab “All Items” has this very same feature. I believe the password generator on the third tab, would be quicker and easier to access, than having to go to the Audit Tab and scroll to the bottom every time a password needs to be created. Please remove the Search Tab (3rd tab) and re…

First, I’d like to say, “thank you” for making Enpass! I’ve been a loyal Pro Lifetime customer since 2017 and recently (11/24) became a Premium Lifetime customer. My first request… #1. The All Items Tab Please add the total number for the “All Items” at the top of the All Items tab. This will make it quicker and easier to see how many items are on this tab at-a-glance. It would always be visible, eliminating any need to scroll to the bottom of the tab. For example, it would look something like this: All Items (47) Presently, when you scroll down, the “All Items” changes to a smaller font size and is centered, which is fine, since …

Often an item is related in some way to another item. It would be helpful to be able to embed a link from one to the other to make jumping between them easy. The way I see this working would be to create a field type called Link. Then that field would provide a button to pick the item to link to (this would be similar to existing Search system in main app or browser addin). Once the related item is picked, its name would be shown in that field (possibly in URL format) so you could click on it and be taken to that item. eg. Item MyBank has field called Link which lists MyCreditCard. Click on MyCreditCard in the MyBank item, and I am taken to the item MyCreditCard. …

Most fields in the card detail have a 'copy' icon, to copy the contents of that field. I often want to copy the title and/or the notes field, but neither has a copy button, so I must edit, select the text, ctrl-c. A button would be helpful.

Can we please get a setting to make the size of the text in "View Large" larger? It isn't that much larger than the regular text on a phone screen.

Hi, I’ve been using Enpass for a while now, and I really appreciate the work you've done. However, there’s one feature I feel is missing: support for the Secret Service API via DBus, similar to what's available in KeePass or Gnome Keyring. Implementing this would allow Enpass to integrate more seamlessly with various desktop environments and applications on Linux. By adding this, Enpass could act as a Secret Service provider, allowing users to securely store and retrieve passwords using the standardized Secret Service API (as specified here: Freedesktop Secret Service API). This feature would be highly beneficial for those of us who rely on Linux for our da…

I'd be great if the browser extension sorted suggested login details by recent usage. For some domains, I have quite a lot of account in enpass but use only one or two on a regular basis. Maybe the last usage of a credential or the count how often it was used could be used for determining the order.

Grazie.

Good afternoon, I have a Surface Pro X which runs Windows on ARM. While the x86 version of Enpass from the Microsoft store works, I'm wondering if you could compile an ARM64 build to help with battery life and possibly other performance benefits if I were to have Enpass constantly running in the background. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've been using Enpass since it first launched. I was part of the Enpass 6 alpha / beta testing. Since 6 first launched 5ish years ago, there have been a lot of great features added. I've been a Pro member since I started, though recently have considered purchasing the $99 license to try and help with funding for development... That said, the apps are somewhat in need of a UI refresh. The desktop apps, Linux in particular, but even the mobile apps could use some love. Is there any work on a major release of, say for instance, an "Enpass 7" release? I know that there are also a slew of feature requests that have been sitting out there for 5+ years …

macOS Sequoia + Safari 18 allows installed extensions to be enabled in WebApps created via Safari's Add to Dock feature. This would be quite useful for the Enpass Safari extension. Currently, the Enpass Safari extension doesn't appear in the list of available extensions in a WebApp created via Safari's Add to Dock feature. One extension which does seem to work is called Userscripts - an open-source extension distributed via the Mac App Store. Please see attached screenshot for reference.

More and more controls are with QR codes, and specifically dynamic QR codes. There are many access controls where authentication takes place with a dynamic QR code. Can ENPASS add such a feature? It then probably would be necessary to also be able to chose the type of dynamic algorithm... possible?

Enpass currently works well with the standard TOTP implementation of a numeric, 30 second interval TOTP code which makes it possible to use most services that offer this sort of authentication. Due to it supporting custom digits, it not only works with the standard 6-digit, but also with some different ones like Blizzard's 8-digit authenticator (which I use just fine with Enpass). What Enpass still lacks in this regard is support for custom time interval and also Steam's 5-digit alphanumeric standard. I, for instance, have to use another authenticator for services like 'Twitch' and 'Mercado Livre' which use 7-digit 10-second TOTP codes (which I believe is Authy'…

On the Windows app, adding dates to date fields is harder than it has to be - providing a date picker would be far easier than typing Enpass' recognized date format, which is non-standard to North Americans (we use MM/DD/YYYY, not DD/MM/YYYY)

Having just imported about 500+ entries from Pleasant Password Server and about 400+ entries from Bitwarden, I'm missing an option to apply a Template to an existing entry. I have to manually align the imports to have the fields I'd like to use and remove tons of fields, I don't need, but the old system has exported with empty content. Userstory: When applying a template, the system should remove all unused fields that are not also contained in the Template; obviously, all missing fields from the Template should be added. This would save a lot of time when moving from old structures.

Business Admin-Console doesn't seem to have any way other than Code-via-Email-MFA, which is quite annoying when you're in a hurry. While I totally agree that there should not be an opt-out for MFA here, there could be Passkeys and OTP as additional options. This would mean eMail could remain the ultimate Fallback. Marc

In the same way the desktop browser extension can prompt to save new logins, I really miss not having this same feature on Android. I would love to see this functionality added.

As enpass supports multiple vaults, it would be need if accent colors could be associated with a vault, in the same pane as the name and icon is set. Then, in the "All Items" view, when all vaults are selected, the items would have the same accent color as its background. Easier to spot which items belongs where
