Hey, since about 2-3 months I can't sync my DB anymore. In the beginning I thought it's a problem due my MacBook / iPhone or webDAV-syncing on my Synology NAS, but yesterday I found time to test it and came to the conclusion, that it must be an issue of Enpass. Hi, When i start ENPASS everything work fine, but when i trying to unlock ENPASS after locking, the first attempt to unlock ENPASS fails everytime with invalid password. The second attempt works fine. I try to enter the password as slow as possible to ensure there is no typo, but it didnt help. The first attempt always fails. Summary: 1. Start ENPASS with master password -> works 2. Lock ENPASS 3. First attempt: Try to unlock ENPASS with master password -> fails 4. Second attempt: Try to unlock ENPASS with master password -> works Any ideas? best regards zbllr0451tz

I downloaded the update... moving from 5.5.5 to 5.6.0 and the app would not open up...it keeps crashing Uninstalled, reinstalled and getting the same thing. Reinstalled 5.5.5 which works good. Can anyone explain why ? OSX 10.11.6

Hi, I'm running Enpass 5.6.0 (112) and search is painfully slow, especially when using the browser extension. Another thing that bugs me is that it doesn't always pick up on the correct URL. I often need to search for the site I'm on because Enpass doesn't detect it properly. This coupled with slow search makes things difficult to use (and I really want to move away from 1Password, but the speed is killing me). Now, I know this can't be due to the size of my DB because I've only got about 700 items and on iOS it's reasonably fast. Any advantages between 1Password I'm actually looking for a good password manager. I just heard about 1Password and it is on the market since several years. Does Enpass have any advantages over 1Password for example?

The Enpass update dialog popped up today and I installed the update but Enpass failed to start again. Tried manually starting it: crashed. Tried downloading from the web site and starting it: crashed. Tried reverting my password wallet to an earlier version on dropbox then starting freshly downloaded app: crashed. App Zapped Enpass to remove both app and all preferences, reinstalled 5.6.0 from dmg, then started it: crashed. So at this point a freshly installed 5.6.0 wont launch. It goes through app verification on first launch then dies, after that it just dies at launch. At this point I really don't know what to do next. Lost without Enpass! Are there…

Updated to the newest version 5.5.5 (92). It just hangs quite soon after startup. Takes 100% of CPU and becomes unresponsive. Tried to disable ownCloud sync, didn't have any effect.

Vault is closing while surfing I got the option "Lock while system is inactive" checked. Strange thing is, that the vault is going to be closed even when surfing the internet. I have to turn it off. Is that behavior usual? EDIT: Fixed it. My bad. Hat the wrong option activated.

Problem with unlocking Hey there. Recently I started using Enpass and really liked it but there is one big problem: it seems that there is something wrong with my Login. If Enpass is locked and I do enter the master password it says that it is unable to validate. I am absolutely sure that the password is correct. I'm currently running 5.5.8 (101) on my early 2015 macbook pro 13". This is the install from the app store. I'm having an issue where after a while Enpass will stop showing its window when I click the icon in the menu bar as well as in any browser that I have the extension installed. Oddly if I pull up the main Enpass application & put my password in, I can then go to the browser, press they key combination that would normally show up the Enpass window, & it'll fill in the password for the site. If I don't do this, then it won't do anything. How can I fix this?

Hi, Does Enpass only support 6-digit sha1 TOTPs? If so, why is that? I generated 8-digit sha256 TOTP and Enpass shows it as 6-digit and calculates the code incorrectly.

Considering a move from 1Password, strongly enough that I've downloaded the desktop application, and am trying to import the .1pif file exported from my copy of 1Password. I left it for a couple of hours, and nothing happened. No progress on the progress bar, spinning beachball. I did a Force Quit, deleted the app, reinstalled, same thing. Doing this on a mid-2014 MBP, running OS X 10.12.5, using the App Store version. Thanks for any help!

Hello. I've moved from 1password recently and enpass is really great and worth buying. However, I'm a little bit uncomfortable with the initial logging feature. When I launch enpass application on Mac, I can only use 'touch id' after logging in to the application typing my password. Are there any ways to set 'touch id' as default to run the application initially? If not, do you have any plans to support this? or is it impossible due to certain reasons such as security?

Is it possible that Enpass 5.5.7 has a bug: after minimizing the main window with with the left yellow minimize button in Mac, clicking on the Enpass icon in the dock won't bring back the application. Does anyone have the same problem? Very annoying. A fix would be highly appreciated.

First off: I really like and appreciate Enpass for mac os x (using 10.11.6). However, I do find that it doesn't back up on a regular basis, very inconsistent. I usually have to remember to manually back it up. It will often go a week or more without backing up. but some times it'll back up every other day (rarely). Just FYI. Thanks again. Also sometimes it causes safari to use 100% of cpu, then i have to turn it off (browser extension). Seems only to be on certain sites btw.

Hello, I use you fantastic app for a while now. I use webdav sync on synology for a while, wich works fine. But all my entries are just duplicated. I would like to know how to remove the old ones automatically because i have hundred of lines. It's really easy to reproduce because your app do not make any check : 1 - I activated a year ago a sync with webdav url from my computer A 2 - I didn't use Enpass on that computer until this morning. 3 - I created a new webdav url a month later that i use since 11 months with computer B. 4 - i just realize this morning that my computer A do not use correct url , but old one. …

Hey, I was trying to fill out a login and found that I have two, opened the software and found 400-ish items instead of 200. The problem is that I had saved new items before noticing the problem so I can't just restore from the backup. I have the latested everything, in addition to using Enpass on Android(Beta tester) and on iOS. And I use Dropbox to sync. Is there a way to repair the database without losing the new items?

Specs: Enpass 5.5.2 (81), 1133 items, no attachments macOS 10.12.4 Sync over WebDAV (self-hosted Nextcloud 11.0.2) with SSL (letsencrypt) When starting up my Mac or waking up, Enpass freezes for several minutes. My impression is that it hangs on sync (as the sync icon spins during the freeze). After a couple of minutes, Enpass is usable again. What can I do?

On my Banking website I enter my ID (username) and click login to get to the next page where I enter my password when click login again. Enpass enters the ID and activates the login button and gets to the password page but doesn't enter the password on this page. Is there a work around for this type of login?

Hi, Description Enpass crash on open from chrome the first time. Steps to reproduce Open computer or reboot. Open chrome. Go to a website with login. Use the shortcut to autocomplete with enpass. Enter master key. Current result Enpass crashes and chrome integration does not work until we open the enpass app again. Expected result That the enpass is unlocked correctly and the login fields are autocompleted. If I can help sending any data, let me know. Thanks

Using RETURN to copy text into clipboard for TOTP results in wrong TOTP being copied I can't exactly record a video of this (as it would be some sensitive information) but when using the keyboard to make the selection using the browser extension, on both Safari and Chrome (on Mac, if that matters) results in the TOTP text (the 6 digit code) being copied, incorrectly. It's odd, but let's say the code should be 010101 well a totally unrelated number is put into the clipboard, but it's also 6 digits. I've waited a minute or two and it looks like the 6 digit code isn't related to the TOTP field and it changes depending on the time, so it's copying _A_ TOTP code, but not …

Hello, I just updated to 5.3.0 and now the synchronization with Owncloud (Webdav) does not work any more. I already removed the old config and if I now try to establish the synchronization, I can fill the configuration dialog and press Connect. The the Buttons are grayed out and the Text "Connecting..." is displayed, but the dialog never closes. The only thing I can do is to close the dialog in the upper left corner using the red cross. I already restated the application and tried with and without our Proxy, but nothing changes. Any hints how I can analyze the problem further using some traces/debugs/logs... Regards, Thomas Kriener
