When using Enpass on my Lumia 950, the Windows Hello sign inn works like a charm, even if the Enpass app has been closed down. However on my desktop (Surface Pro 4) After restarting the app, the master password always has to be entered. Is this by design, I would love for Windows Hello to work the same way on desktop as mobile.

Hello, I like the enpass uwp especially the option to sign in with windows hello (one thing is that for first time login you still have to type in the password...). However, to use the browser extension (in my case for opera) I also have to open the enpass desktop software otherwise I get the enpass connection error in the extension. Is it not possible to only use the UWP app? thanks

I'm currently unable to use enpass in OSX and Ubuntu, although the apps launch fine any attempted use, either via enpass itself or a browser extension causes enpass to crash. Often once the crash has occurred enpass then crashes at startup unless I reboot. I use dropbox sync to sync between platforms and dropbox is showing sync_default.walletx hasn't been modified for 8 days, which seems wrong, so I think its possibly something awry with dropbox sync that is causing this issue. Any suggestion on how to work around this? Should I delete sync_default.walletx in dropbox and let enpass recreate it? I was going to attach the most recent crash log from OSX, but t…

Hi, I have enabled "Minimize app to System Tray" option, but application is still on the task bar after I minimize it. Version 5.2 Regards. Edit: Got it: I shall click "Close" button to make it dissapear from taskbar. The label is confusing, it shall sound like "Close to System Tray", or "Hide to System Tray when close"

So....I am having this problem of not being able to open Enpass on my desktop. Let me explain my stup. Enpass is installed on my Android tablet and phone. The desktop version is installed on my Windows 10 desktop and Surface Pro 4. All devices sync to the Enpass DB on OneDrive. Enpass installed on the Windows devices also uses the Chrome browser extension...I also sync my Documents on all devices to NAS on my home network. Enpass seems to work fine for all Android devices and for my desktop PC. Every time I try to install the add-on for Firefox in Windows 7 I get the following error. Firefox 48.0.2 I have checked all the JavaScript settings using about:config and they are correct. I guess I will try it on chrome next but I really want to use Firefox. I am a pretty advanced user but there is just no information on Google beyond what I have tried. Any help would be much appreciated

I've noticed that Enpass keeps hanging on system startup on Windows. I've never encountered this issue on my private system runing Debian GNU/Linux. Is there some way to get debug logs from Enpass to see what may be blocking the startup?

Hi, I've been using the Windows 10 phone App for a while now - full version - and the installation on my Surface Pro 4does not work. It initially worked perfectly in sync however it now fails and I left it a while to hope a fix would arrive, but perhaps I'm the only one... I've uninstalled the app (perhaps leaving cache in the background) and restored the passwords from onedrive from my phone during installation, but i'm still stuck at the Master Password with no option for Windows Hello. I recently updated to Anniversary edition and it didn't work before the update either. Cheers,

I'm using the free desktop version and the Android version of Enpass and so far it's pretty awesome. I have one question however: it seems like Enpass is pegging a fair amount of CPU. Nearly a third of a modern Core i5 machine seems like a bit much. Any idea as to what may be the cause or how I can help troubleshoot it?

Hi All, Not sure where the fault lies here but I've run into an odd website login issue since I've recently started using Enpass, and its corresponding browser extension. The machine is running Windows 10 Pro, Enpass 5.3.0 Desktop App, and Enpass Browser Extension 5.3.0 for google Chrome. Chrome Version 52.0.2743.116 m (64-bit). When attempting to login @ https://www.mynycb.com/ the website never takes the login, no matter what is typed in the box once you hit enter or submit the website reports back "Please enter your User ID". Took me a little while to go through all my browser extensions to verify it was Enpass that was related (no other extensions loade…

Basically I created a new folder, but didn't press enter, so when I created a sub-folder, and pressed enter for that sub-folder, Enpass crashed. I don't usually forget to press enter, and I doubt others do either, but I'd figure I'd share this bug anyways.

I'm sorry, probably a stupid question, but I don't understand the point of a Windows 10 app when there is already a Windows version. Not just Enpass, but other password managers I've used, and other apps as well. Does it work with Edge when I get the anniversary update, or am I just missing something? Don't get me wrong, I love Enpass, I'm just trying to figure out how to use the Windows 10 app properly is all

Using the v5.3.0 on Windows 7 x64, I can't find how to create a folder at the root. If I select a folder and create a new folder, the new folder will be created underneath. But how can I create a new folder at the root ?

Hello! I use Enpass for Traditional Windows on Windows 10 on a Microsoft Surface Pro. The icons are tin, and in the main listing of passwords, the account name and user name cut each other off. I know that there is a Universal Windows version, and I have even tried it and bought it for password maintenance; however, using the extensions for Firefox and Chrome is critical to me. I want the two to meet in the middle. Thank you!

I think I remember seeing in an intro video that a PIN can be set to make it easier on a secure device to open the program and gain access to passwords. Is that true? I cannot find where to do it in Settings or anywhere else. I am using the free desktop version of Enpass in Windows 10 on an Intel i5 Acer tablet. Thanks for taking the time to help me.

After locking the Enpass desktop client (on Windows 10), it doesn't sync with my cloud provider (Google) anymore, the backup option doesn't work anymore, and it doesn't store any new passwords either (although it does offer to do so - they're simply not added to the database). Anything I can do to troubleshoot this?

When we make a new Item there are already commonly used fields as default. for example UserName, EMail, Password, telephoneNumber, URL, security question. Is there a way to edit the default fields. So that in future if I make a new item there are other fields by default?

Hello, I'm used to copy the password from my password manager of choice and paste it into the password field of a website manually. Some days ago I started to evaluate if Enpass (version 5.1.6) would be a sufficient replacement for my current tool on my Lumia 950 (really like the Windows Hello feature). But I found that after copying the password in Enpass app and switching to IE no paste button is shown on the keyboard. Same for the user name. Though the app still shows a notification that the data was copied to the clipboard successfully. If I jump to another app, e.g. OneNote, the paste button shows up and I can paste everything as expected. With kind regards…

Hello The autoclear clipboard feature doesn't work on my lumia 640. I use the UWP also on my laptop on which this feature works. The app discription on the store page says that this feature is optional but I can't find the option to turn this on or off (Phone and laptop). I would like the autoclear feature to work because I don't want to paste sensitive data accidently. Kind regards

I recently switched from 1Password to Enpass due to its support for syncing with OneDrive and better support for Windows Phone. The app was recommended to me by some of my coworkers. I am very happy with the app, and have purchased it for both my Windows Phone and my iPad. However, I am a little confused about the different versions for the Windows platform. From what I see, there is a Windows desktop version and a "UWP" version that can run on both the desktop and Windows Phone 10. However, it seems that Windows Hello is supported in the UWP version, but not the desktop version. Conversely, browser plug-ins are supported in the desktop version, but not the UWP versi…
