Hello, I am using KeePass and I think about switching to Enpass. But I also tested 1Password. What arguments do you have for Enpass? Why is Enpass better than the others? I am using a Windows 10 Pro Desktop and also a Windows 10 Mobile phone (Lumia 950 XL). I also have an older Android phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 4, this is the model that won't explode if you turn it on). Give me reasons to switch! Regards OLLI

First of all I tried almost all PWD Manager Apps in the PLay store, and finally I found the one, one of the dealbreaker for me is to have a Desktop version withou a monthly fee and a highly customizable Mobile app. Enpass is just great. The issues begins when I installed the desktop version in my W10 x64 Laptop. The biggest issue is that I neved found how to import the existing data that I generated from my Android app and it stored in Google Drive. I spent 1 hour triying to restore from Google Drive the info into my Desktop and it was impossible. The user manual online does not bring information about this. Hi there, I just downloaded the portable windows version, but I assume, the findings can be found in other version as well. 1. in the passwordgenerator you can select the seperator when using speakable passwords. In german language, the dot (.) is translated with "Zeitraum". Even if the english word "period" means both when translated in german, it means "period of time". So you go better with "Punkt", which is the punctuation. 2. In the "New entry" dialog, you can select TOTP as new field. Hey there! So I seem to be having an issue with Enpass on Windows 7 Professional, and so does my coworker (who I recently converted from the Church of Lastpass). Every now and then, after having used Enpass to log in to websites using the browser extension, it seems to hang. I only seem to notice because I will attempt to log in again using the browser extension, and the browser extension does not respond. Is there anything that can be done to troubleshoot this? Installing update 5.5.2 gives error "Please quit Enpass application before continuing". Why? Enpass is not started.

I can't determine how to export my data from Enpass. I am able to get into my data from the Windows version by inputting my PIN. When I try to use it on my Windows phone, it asks for my master password which I don't recall - so I just want to export the data and start a new account so I can use a new master password on the Windows phone version. Please advise procedures to export from Windows desktop version so I can import into a new install.

I noticed recently the program doesn't popup credentials on a website when I try logging in, and later when I visit a different website it'll bring up the credentials from the previous website. It just started happening last week.

Hello, I gave Enpass for Windows (not the Windows 10 app from the app store) a try and added a sample entry there. There I set to store my password database on the folder D:\Enpass. Reason: I create a weekly backup of my D:\ drive Then I saw that there is also a Windows 10 Universal App available. So I installed it too (I want to switch to the Windows 10 Universal App). After startup I selected to import all data from a local drive and selected the file D:\Enpass\walletx.db After that I added an second entry ans recognized that the file D:\Enpass\walletx.db was not modified. Hello The Windows / Linux versiom of Enpass crashes constantly when accessing fields with long passwords (over 1024 characters, up to 2048). There is a noticeable delay and then it crashes. On iOS there is only a 1 sec delay but it works. Enpass wouls need a better way of handling long complex paswords, so that it does not crash the PC version or slowdown all versions. Definately a bug / request to look into. For testing purposes, add a 2048 password with all characters and numbers and special characters, save it and see the delay on iOS and the slowdown and error on PC when trying to select that object.

Hi I have created a folder with a website I use.I have filled out the username, password and url. When I click on the url I am taken to the web site but still have to logon. Presumably I am doing some thing wrong. Help appreciated. tdc

Hi All, I've been using Enpass for several years now and have had no issues. I recently purchased a new Win10 laptop and have today changed a password on one entry. On clicking the save button the entry was over written with lots of ######. Unfortunately, I'm set to auto sync so this has now been updated on all my other linked devices. The double whammy, I don't have a recent backup stored either. Is there any way to recover this critical information please?

Windows10 Pro 64 / Firefox / Chrome / 8GB RAM I hope that ENPASS could suggest / show 1 item in each account. I have 2 Facebook accounts. I have 5 Google accounts. ENPASS suggests 6 items if I try to open my Facebook account by using a browser even if only 2 accounts is stored in ENPASS. The reason why is each 3 similar Facebook URLs are stored in ENPASS. ENPASS recognizes 1 username, 1 password and 1 LOG-IN URL as 1 item. But most of website has some LOG-in URLs. So I hope that ENPASS can store more than 2 LOG-IN URLs in 1 tem.

I can't create new items on Enpass V 5.4.1 on a specific PC. I click the '+' icon on the toolbar and Enpass goes through all the steps to create a new secure note, or login, etc., and click save, but the item never appears in the list of items. It's installed on a Windows 10 PC. I have it installed on a second Win 10 PC and it works perfectly. Any items I create ion that one, sync OK with the first PC. So why this one? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing, but it didn't help. -- Pete

Hi I've discovered that the EnpassHelper.exe application produces a hugh amount of page faults. Around 1000 per second on my system. Please check the screenshot - this was after 9h of uptime. I guess, something has to be wrong with the helper. I discovered the same issue on my second PC. Sometimes, when searching in the main window or the browser extension, the app just crashes. I expired the same problem on Linux Mint (18.1), macOS Sierra as well as Windows 10. Is that a known issue?

Surface Pro 4 and Lumia 950 I thought Enpass was able to startup fresh and use Windows Hello on the Surface Pro 4 but recently I'm seeing that it starts up and only asks for the Master Password. If I lock the app and go back in, it will use Windows Hello. Is this a change? or am I missing a setting for it to use Windows Hello all the time? I realize that the Lumia needs the Master Password the first time.

Enpass 5.2.0 on x4 different Windows 10 x64 machines crashes after approx 30 secs with Enpass.exe has stopped working. Dropbox sync. Android Client crashes immediately and iPhone crashes immediately. Desperate for a fix!

I have an installation of Enpass that appears to be corrupted. When I open the file, it prompts me for a password, but doesn't accept it. I know I'm providing the correct password (typed in text editor and pasted). Upon further investigation: There is no Enpass folder under Documents The registry entries for Enpass desktop look incomplete (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Sinew Software Systems) (I have this installed on several computers, so I could compare them). As I start to use Enpass more and more to see if it is a viable replacement of 1password I have noticed the following websites do not login properly if the "auto-submit login" property is set: owner.roku.com/login us.battle.net/login If I remove the check mark and manually press the button I am able to login properly. I have even recreated the login within Enpass manually and it still is not working.

I'm using Windows Surface Pro 4. I can login on de Enpass App using Windows Hello, which is realy quite comfortable and saves me from typing in a long mast password. But when I need to use the Chrome extension for login in on sites etc, I get the message that I still need to startup de desktop app first ('Please start Enpass desktop app and make sure you have checked "Enable Browser Extension" in Enpass Preferences, before using Enpass Browser Extension'). So I still have to type in my long and save master password. This makes little sense to me.
