Adding a security PIN code does not work, and does nothing. Menu = Tools\Settings\Security\Pin Code Click Pin Code check mark. Enter PIN. Click OK. Application returns to Settings/Security screen. There is no check mark in Pin Code box. Application behavior does not change, and does not behave like it uses a pin code. Enpass v5.5.2

If I exit Enpass (no matter if was locked or unlocked), an error dialog box pops up - attached. After I click on either of the buttons, EnpassHelper.exe process remains in the background. Then if I run Enpass again, a new instance of EnpassHelper is started as expected. Then if I exit Enpass, the same error shows up, and now I have two background EnpassHelper.exe processes. Ok, fisrt of all, and I alreadt said it before, the android app is by far the best App in the PLay Store, I triyed almost all and this is te best. The huge issue is with the desktop version. I received too many stop working, for some reason I am not able when I am a new user to sync the fisr time with google drive and the most important issue is that is the 2nd time that after a while the master PWD is not being recognixed. I just opened the app, I check one password but I receibed an stop working pop-up so I need it to open again and after that the master PWD is not being recognized again. Is there a way to add a check box option to a log in that already exists in my database? I'd like to have Enpass auto-tick a box for me.

The free one installs fine it just won't open for me, I get this error

Enpass for windows v5.5.2; the auto-submit login checkbox is disabled; I cannot uncheck/check the checkbox.. Seems to work ok on Mac version.. Bug?

I installed Enpass for Windows 10. When I double-click on the Enpass logo on my desktop a window opens with 3 items on it. 1) an outline of a padlock, 2) a data entry window for a password, and 3) a 'unlock' button. When I hit 'unlock' it just beeps. I used the same newly created pw both before and after I successfully joined this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated. woody1

I'm using the Windows 10 PC application (German language version). Parts of certain Enpass windows are outside of my screen and I can't reach them. Resizing the window isn't possible. This is particularly frustrating with the Settings window, because the menu tabs at the top aren't visible nor clickable. I was able to fix the problem by changing my Windows screen settings. By default the size of text, apps, etc. is set to 150% (see screenshot). If I change it to 125% then I can see the full Enpass Settings window. However text is so small that it's hardly usable. Would it be possible to fix this in a future release, so that also at 150% Enpass fits the screen - …

I hope that the ENPASS main window shows tree-style list. You know that some web services accept a new account by using your Google account. For example, you can make a new account in Dropbox by using your Google account. I use 6 web services which has accepted by using my Google account. I think that it's simple if you can register an item in ENPASS DB as follows: Name - Dropbox Account - My Google account It's easy for me to recognize that the ENPASS main window could lists 6 web services as children of my Google account.

I'm a new user - really like Enpass so far. I'm importing several hundred items from eWallet and having some difficulty. I broke an eWallet Text Export into separate eWallet .txt files, creating a single text file for each eWallet folder. My plan was to Import the text file, move the items into a named folder from the Import Category, Delete those items from "Import" and then go on to the next text file Import. This doesn't work. Hi there! With Lastpass and Keepass I managed my >600 entries by folders and subfolders. Enpass can deal with it, too but I know it's more like a label than actually a folder, right? What's the best method to get hunders of items into folders? From within "all entries" I can't filter the ones _without_ folders so I can go on further :-( Thank you very much!

I am using Enpass on Windows, Mac and iOS. I use Google Drive to sync the enpass database. This worked fine for a long time, but recently I saw in the settings on Windows that the last sync was performed on October 24, 2016 and the last try was on November 7, 2016. When I click snyc now, the button turns inactive but nothing seems to happen. Even the last try date does not update. Similarly, on iOS, the last sync was on January 29, 2017. Here I can tap sync now and the last try date will update, but the snyc is not performed. By the way, I never received any error message on any system, that is why I only discovered this by chance. Hello, I am using KeePass and I think about switching to Enpass. But I also tested 1Password. What arguments do you have for Enpass? Why is Enpass better than the others? I am using a Windows 10 Pro Desktop and also a Windows 10 Mobile phone (Lumia 950 XL). First of all I tried almost all PWD Manager Apps in the PLay store, and finally I found the one, one of the dealbreaker for me is to have a Desktop version withou a monthly fee and a highly customizable Mobile app. Enpass is just great. The issues begins when I installed the desktop version in my W10 x64 Laptop. The biggest issue is that I neved found how to import the existing data that I generated from my Android app and it stored in Google Drive. I spent 1 hour triying to restore from Google Drive the info into my Desktop and it was impossible. The user manual online does not bring information about this. Hi there, I just downloaded the portable windows version, but I assume, the findings can be found in other version as well. 1. in the passwordgenerator you can select the seperator when using speakable passwords. In german language, the dot (.) is translated with "Zeitraum". Even if the english word "period" means both when translated in german, it means "period of time". So you go better with "Punkt", which is the punctuation. 2. In the "New entry" dialog, you can select TOTP as new field. Hey there! So I seem to be having an issue with Enpass on Windows 7 Professional, and so does my coworker (who I recently converted from the Church of Lastpass). Every now and then, after having used Enpass to log in to websites using the browser extension, it seems to hang. I only seem to notice because I will attempt to log in again using the browser extension, and the browser extension does not respond. Is there anything that can be done to troubleshoot this? Installing update 5.5.2 gives error "Please quit Enpass application before continuing". Why? Enpass is not started.

I can't determine how to export my data from Enpass. I am able to get into my data from the Windows version by inputting my PIN. When I try to use it on my Windows phone, it asks for my master password which I don't recall - so I just want to export the data and start a new account so I can use a new master password on the Windows phone version. Please advise procedures to export from Windows desktop version so I can import into a new install.

I noticed recently the program doesn't popup credentials on a website when I try logging in, and later when I visit a different website it'll bring up the credentials from the previous website. It just started happening last week.

Hello, I gave Enpass for Windows (not the Windows 10 app from the app store) a try and added a sample entry there. There I set to store my password database on the folder D:\Enpass. Reason: I create a weekly backup of my D:\ drive Then I saw that there is also a Windows 10 Universal App available. So I installed it too (I want to switch to the Windows 10 Universal App). After startup I selected to import all data from a local drive and selected the file D:\Enpass\walletx.db After that I added an second entry ans recognized that the file D:\Enpass\walletx.db was not modified. Hello The Windows / Linux versiom of Enpass crashes constantly when accessing fields with long passwords (over 1024 characters, up to 2048). There is a noticeable delay and then it crashes. On iOS there is only a 1 sec delay but it works. Enpass wouls need a better way of handling long complex paswords, so that it does not crash the PC version or slowdown all versions. Definately a bug / request to look into. For testing purposes, add a 2048 password with all characters and numbers and special characters, save it and see the delay on iOS and the slowdown and error on PC when trying to select that object.

Hi I have created a folder with a website I use.I have filled out the username, password and url. When I click on the url I am taken to the web site but still have to logon. Presumably I am doing some thing wrong. Help appreciated. tdc
