Enpass Support & Troubleshooting

Hi, I'm using Enpass on multiple hosts syncing via my own ownCloud installation. Now ownCloud shows me there's been a sync conflict and now I have two vaults. One being the active one, the other one marked as conflict. It seems like some data has gone in one of the files and other data in the other file. The usual way with ownCloud would be to check which of the files is more current one and delete the other. Before I do this I would like to make sure that I don't lose any data in the "conflict" file. Is there a way I can safely resolve a split vault file? Cheers, Thomas

I see an option to load enpass onto my Android Wear OS watch, but it just "spins the hourglass" and never really finishes the install. Is this feature still supported ? Jamie

Hello, I have multiple different devices where I use Enpass. On my iPhone as an example the sync via iCloud works perfect and syncs within 2 seconds. For my three PCs I press sync and it just loads for more than 30 minutes and nothing happens. I have tried to reinstall the program, then it downloads data from the cloud at installation, but then same issue when syncing after that. Is there anything I can do? Thanks! Filip

Hi. I'm trying to migrate from KeepassXC to Enpass, but Enpass seems to be not very convenient. Maybe I just use it in a wrong way. I exported all password to a *.csv file. Then I edit the file with LibreOffice and imported it to Enpass. Then all my passwords was saved in the categorie "Login", but there was no structur within them. In KeepassXC I had different Groups, like a group for common websites with different subgroups, a group for creditcards, a group for Software. All this was gone. I could see that Enpass still has this information, each record still show a field which is called "Group", but there was no way to use it as a structure in Enpass. So I made n…

Hello Everyone, I was one of the ones that originally had a pro subscription under the "MyAppfree" campaign. Once Enpass moved to the subscription model I as worried that I would have to pay but it looks like with the move they sent out emails to those that had pro models on one platform. I received one of those email and was happy to continue to use the platform. However I've not been able to get it working on any other of my devices. Hi everyone, since the upgrade to the newest Enpass version i can't use my PayPal OTP token anymore. Instead of the OTP i only see the message: "Invalid TOTP secret". I tried to use a new key from PayPal, but it didn't work as well. On any other app on my smartphone like FreeOTP the code still works. Cheers Steffen

I sync my vaults with a folder sync tool. Unfortunately the option "restore from folder" is not present when creating a new vault. I always have to create a new vault and set up the folder sync afterwards. Is there a reason for this behavior?

Can confirm this personally on Android and Windows 10 and as others have posted in the Forum it seems to be the case for all other platforms as well. Something like this should definitely not happen and will make people reconsider your product - especially considering your recent announcment. It should have been noticed before an update has been released. Please add your voice or a +1 to this post so the devs see this as quickly as possible.

I have bought Enpass Pro on Android and IOS while using a free windows store version on my PC. After a latest upgrade I created my enpass account through the PC version with one of my email(call it email1 here). Now email1 account is a lite account. How can I change it to a Pro account while I don't want to register with a new email on my Android? Would it be OK if I just login on my android phone with email1 account and the app could recognize and convert my account status? Hope for replying, thank you.

Hi, I use enpass from years now but i encounter a problem with the password check item in the left panel. I wanted to edit some items which are in the "Same password" entry. So i edited few of them and gave them unique password. When i go to each item, new password is ok, but some of them keep staying in the "Same password" entry, with a reference to the old password. I'm new to Android & Enpass. I have Enpass Pro on my Pixel Android phone. I loaded Enpass on my Windowns 10 PC. 1) Do I need to put the Pro version on my pc? All of my entries 100+ are there on my PC and my Phone. 2) Should Enpass automatically input login information on the PC and phone? It's not. Thanks in advance for any help!

Enpass on Windows has the [BACKSPACE] mapped for deleting an entry. This is very unintuitive and very abnormal on the Windows platform which has a designated [DELETE] key. It would be best if on Windows we either have it remapped to [DELETE], or we are given the option to remap it ourselves. I was attempting to delete an item today and kept trying to use the delete key which was not working. I then right clicked and after a few moments, noticed the "Move to Trash" option. This verbiage is also abnormal for Windows as it is a specifically MacOS terminology. It would make more sense to have the option just say "Delete Item", maybe in red font, and the subsequent dialog that…

Here is my question : can i access my passwords (generated by enpass) from a foreign computer (for example : from a cybercoffe abroad)? WIthout installing enpass on it i mean... Hi, i am using Enpass a long time now and its working great. Since probably the last updates the WebDAV sync to my Owncloud/Nextcloud is broken. On all my devices (Windows/Mac/iOS) webdav-syncing fails with error 907018 What is this about? how can i solve that? Regards, Florian

Hi, Enpass supports Keyfiles already for some while already. As my tresor is a bit older, I was wondering if there is a way to add keyfile to existing tresor.

Until recently I could press ctrl-alt-# and select a login. My browser then opened a webpage and entered the passwort etc. Not this is over. I can select the login but nothin happens. What can I do? (I tried Vivaldi and Firefox with the same result.)

I've installed Enpass, through the hellish Microsoft Store as a download is not available. When running for the first time, I'm given an option on sych online via DropBox. After so sketchy Firefox integration, it fails with a "Something went wrong. Error -1" It seems the Enpass developers have taken cues from Microsoft for giving insightful error messages. Is there way from stopping Enpass launching whenever I try to comment a code snippet with the shortcuts `cmd + /` on some coding platforms such as repl.it? I changed the system-wide Hotkey in the Enpass settings to various keys but it doesn't seem to apply. Today I also faced an enpass widget on my 34" screen whose design looked broken so I couldn't even grab the `x` to close that window. Hey Together, i use Nextcloud with Webdav for my Enpass Vault for a long time now. Now i get the Sync Error with Error Code 907018. In the Internet there is absolut no Hint what 907018 means. Reconnect the Webdav doesn´t change anything. Have somebody an explanation what this code means? Thx

My webdav password has changed (due to the password expiry policy) so enpass sync is failing as it is trying to use the old password. so far as to be expected although the error message from Enpass is some obscure error number and could be more helpful (other apps would ask you to re-enter the password in such circumstances). However, I am struggling to work out how to tell Enpass the new password withou having to cancel sync and then reenter all the webdab settings from scratch (which with multiple vaults and devices would be an unacceptably cumbersome process) Matthew p.s. I'm really only usimg webdav as a stop gap whilst waiting for wifi sync…
