Importing data from other softwares

I sat up sync to sync to a folder on my Android phone. When I export a .json file from my PC version of Enpass to that folder on my phone, I find that some entries from my PC version of Enpass are not in the .json file on y phone. How can I export a .json file from my PC version of Enpass to the Android version of Enpass?

How do I get my password information from Google Chrome into enpass? I only have android device. I have csv file on my android device that has enpass on it.

Having real difficulty loading the .walletx backup file that Enpass creates when you make a backup of your files. I'm trying to move my data seamlessly from Enpass V5, to Enpass V6. I have already tried to do this once via .CVS, but found that the import actually lost a lot of the important information within the data! So I'm trying it again from an old TimeMachine entry of my previous V5 Enpass, where my data still is. What is the way to load a .walletx file? I have tried making a new 'Vault' through settings and loading it there... but it keeps saying 'Invalid File'! Please can someone help? Thanks! Lauren

Enpass fails when importing 1Password data (.1pif). I tried to import the data several times: import of the whole database (1404 objects), only import of accounts (18 objects) - but Enpass always shows elements in the import folder with "Ohne Titel" (Untitled), but no more content. I have been reading about importing roboform data. Seems there might be a problem so I thought I would ask if that problem no longer exists or not. The last posting I found was in april of 2019. I am running with ubuntu 18.04 and have to find myself a new password manager. I can use my wife's windows machine to get my password info into a file. Oh, I also swear I saw something that inferred another way to import roboform passwords by sending you the roboform information and you have an program to take it from there - was there something like that? Thoughts?

I was using Dashlane on a work laptop PC (Windows 7, IE 11) and a personal laptop (Windows 10, IE 11). I also have a new Samsung Galaxy S8 which I wanted to also sync passwords to. Dashlane wanted to charge a ridiculous, recurring charge for an Android device so I decided to switch to Enpass after reading a large number of positive reviews. So, one of the much-touted features of Dashlane was a wide range of competing password managers it could import passwords, etc from, including Dashlane. I´d like to switch from 1Password to Enpass, but i´m facing a problem importing data. I´m using 1Password for Windows, 4.6.2.626. I exported all my data to a 1pif file and tried to import it into enpass version 6.1.1 (451). I got an error "nothing to import". The i tried to export all data in csv and imported it in enpass. But in enpass everything looks messed up. No categories as well. Did i do something wrong? I would urgently need the imported data, otherwise we cannot switch the product. Otto

I don't want to overwrite what is in dropbox from my other device. I want them to sync. I am fixing to reformat my Mac and don't want to lose anything and have to start over yet again. I can make a device backup, but how do I import and merge that later? Is it possible? I am ready to go except for this. If everything is synced on other devices, and in dropbox, I can erase this machine, reinstall Enpass and sync it to dropbox and everything comes back, right? So this backup is important. I have a local storage file backup vault-22_items-auto.enpassbackup How do I open it?

I'm in the process of switching from Roboform to Enpass (version 6). I normally use firefox browser and I've installed the necessary add-on. Roboform has a very obvious "save" button to save web form data, but I don't see the same thing on Enpass. How do I fill a form in firefox and save the data to Enpass? It seems only to do it automatically if there is a username or password field on the form. Am I missing something really obvious?

I have latest version of enpass, but i am still not able to import XML file exported from KEEPASS. When i am importing in enpass it finds all (739) passwords, but ENPASS crashesh in the middle of proccess. After starting new enpass session. Only 106 passwords imported. All tags (groups) are created but they are empty. Cant even add crash report because it violates your insert post restrictions.

Hello, maybe this could help others with the same issue. I finally discovered why importing from a Splash ID exported CSV file fails in Enpass 6.x: The exported file has old-style Macintosh line endings (CR), but Enpass expects CRLF. If you try to directly import the generated file in Enpass, the dreaded "nothing to import" error occurs. To avoid this, open the CSV file in a text editor (such as BBedit), change the line ending style from "Legacy MacOS (CR)" to "Windows (CRLF)" and save the file. I am a happy SafeInCloud customer but am considering switching to Enpass because it supports Linux and the SafeInCloud developer seems to have no interest in doing so. I tried importing my exported SafeInCloud XML file into Enpass 6.0.1. It crashes after importing only about 8 entries. When I say crash, i mean the Enpass just abruptly closes with no warning. Is there a fix for this?

Figaro's Password Manager 2 only saves passwords in their own xml format fpm2. I want to switch from it to enpass because I can use it on my phone, on linux, and on windows. enpass doesn't offer fpm2 format for import and I have a LOT of passwords in fpm2. Does anyone have a solution? HELP!!!

Hello, I just went from 1password to Enpass. So I exported my 1password boxes as a.1pif file. The import in Enpass seemed to go well. Alas I discover with horror that for many of my logins I am missing the website field that links them to the site to which they correspond.

Hello, I'm using Enpass 5.9 (desktop + chrome extension). I'm synchronizaing to Google Drive. I've installed Enpass 6 and not sure howto export data from 5.9 and import it to version 6. 5.9 can export to walletx - but! Version 6 can import from json Any idea?
