Cloud Sync

If I edited a website login via the desktop app when my computer was not connected to the internet, then someone later edited that same website login, via a different 'online' device. What would Enpass do to resolve the differences, between the vault on my computer and the vault in my cloud, when my computer was back online? As the two vaults are now different, does it simply overwrite the entire vault on my computer with the newer 'cloud sync' vault (replacing the changes I made on my computer) or will it merge changes/additions if they are different? Dear Team! i used Enpass on iOS, stored the data not in cloud but locally on phone and Got a new iPhone. i installed the new iPhone from iCloud backup. enpass works and asks for master Passwort. i am 99,9% sure about the password but enpass does not accept. is it possible that it’s broken? Is the local data stored in the iCloud iPhone backup ? what shall I do ? thanks in advance waterloo

Dear Guys, is it possible to choose another folder than Google Drive's root when I am using the iOS and Windows app? Because everytime when I put it into a subfolder of Google Drive's root, the cloud sync in the iOS app is broken. If I set up the cloud sync in the iOS app again, a new Enpass folder gets created in Google Drive's root. Kind regards from Germany, Alex

It used to be possible to sync Enpass with the Onedrive of a different user. This is no longer possible, when setting up the Onedrive sync it opens the Edge browser with the Microsoft account of the current Windows user and it is not possible to change this. This is a major problem for me because I use the same Enpass problem at home and at work. At work I use a different Microsoft account.

Does Wifi Sync update instantly or resync a lot by itself ?

New Enpass user. Firefox is my default browser on both my desktop and my Android. Installed on my Android, and synced to my DropBox. Seems to work OK. Installed the Windows 10 client. Am unable to sync. Firefox is not able to "see" the Enpass file on my DropBox account. That is, when using Firefox, there does not appear to be any file in the Apps/Enpass directory on Dropbox. If I use Chrome, I can see the Enpass file is actually there on my DropBox account. Why can't Firefox see the file? I then made Chrome the default browser on my desktop and Android, and tried again. Hi there, since Nextcloud version 26.0.1 i get a sync problem with enpass: it shows "wrong password" when connecting. The same Problem appears if i try to connect to the Nextcloud server via WebDAV too. The Nextcloud server runs on debian 11.7. the Nextcloud version is 26.0.1 (and now 26.0.2) Enpass shows the same error on: OSX (version: 6.8.6) Linux PopOS (version: 6.8.5) IOS (Version 6.8.7) Hope there is a Fix on the horizon! Hello, Some time ago I've noticed, that my Linux instance of Enpass is out of sync, so I've tried to reconnect it to my Dropbox. On all other devices (Windows 11, Android, iPad OS) the syncing is working, but on Linux I'm stuck with an error "The request timed out when trying to connect to Dropbox". Now I did a lot of Internet searching and reading and I've already addressed some issues like: * trying different browsers to authenticate * setting automatic time check (NTP through systemd-timesyncd.servic) * disabling firewall and VPN Nothing is working for me. After updating to the new version, Enpass stopped syncing through Dropbox. The iOS version continues to sync, or so it seems but of course now my devices are out of sync from my laptop. Very upset! I uninstalled Dropbox from my Mac, deleted the access in Dropbox, reinstalled Enpass on the Mac, and requested cloud sync access from Dropbox. A request popped up to open a link in the Dropbox desktop app: After saying OK, I get a forever spinning, stuck screen: In the meantime, Dropbox does not have the know about any Enpass access: Please fix ASAP! Is there anything I can do in the meantime?

Apologies if this topic has been discussed before. On the Box Community website, Box has stated that WebDAV support will end on 31st Jan 2019. Would someone please advise me on how I may synchronise my Enpass Vault across Windows and Android devices after 31Jan2019. Regards, David Deehan

I have been using iCloud to sync, but I am unhappy that when the Windows or Linux desktop apps are unable to sync due to expiry of iCloud access, they do not give any warning. (The Mac desktop does give a warning). This resulted in a newly created login which I needed to access away from home was not available as the desktop had not synced. When I checked I found at least 1 weeks worth of updates had not synced. So which sync service have people found to be the most reliable so that I don't have this issue again? Thank you!

Hi I want to use Enpass on a second Windows PC (from work). I am redirected from your download page onto the MS Store. I spent 30mn with their support and they have not been able to help me (the "install" button does not work). I finally found an older exe file on the net (enpass_6-3-3_fr_432677.exe) and I was hoping I could start from there and upgrade afterwards. After installing it and trying to sync my vault from Dropbox, I got an error "error while syncing". I tried several times. I assumed it might come from the fact that the version is too old, am I right ? Thanks for your help

Hi, since version 6.8 it is not longer possible to restore multiple vaults from the same webdav server. I receive the message that the same account is already connected. But it is not the same account. It is just the same URL to the webdav server. The account has a different username and password. Until version 6.7.4 it was possible to connect to multiple vaults fron the same server. It seems that this version just checks if the server address is already used and not if this is a different account. In 6.7.4 I sync about 8 vaults from the same server

We have new phones. We downloaded the Enpass app on them. We can't access the data we had entered into the app on our old phones. Can anyone offer insight on this? I don't remember if or where we might have indicated to back up data.

I've been using enpass for about 2 years without major problems. I use enpass on 4 devices and sync my vault to my owncloud account. Since end of November the sync fails (Errorcode 907403). Two major changes have been made: 1) I change my account to Pro; 2) I updated my owncloud to version 10.3 (from 10.1). Thanks for advice Michael

To the developers, if you create new data on the client ( PC or Smartphone ). actually the synchronization (after you have configured it) runs in the background independently in the interval. Unfortunately, no data is transferred although the connection to the NAS exists and the synchronization does not show any errors. Even if you select the Tresor explicitly and press the button " synchronize " manually, it looks like the process is running but after you synchronize the data set on the second device in the Tresor, there are no new data sets !! Hello, I am using version 20.0 of Nextcloud and I can't synchronize my database. On my 2 Mac I can set up the synchronization wonderfully. But if I want to synchronize the iPhone I get the error: "Could not connect to the specified WebDAV folder. Please check your username and password". Bypass SSL Verification is enabled. I purchases the Premium Enpass Version in a One Time Buy, im new to the Term of Passwordmanagers. Enpass created a Vault on my Mac Computer at the Documents Folder. It would be better, to Transfer the Vault to Onedrive, so i could everytime Sync it with Iphone oder Samsung Android Phones. Today i Use a Synology Nas, but in Future i wont use it, because i only Store 400mb of Word Documents on it, its oversized for me. I created a WEBDav on my NAS, so it syncs successfull with my Iphone and Android Phone. But in Future, i like to have the Vault in Microsoft Onedrive and i like to sync the Word with Smartphones via Onedrive. Is that possible? …

I've had Enpass on my windows phone for quite a few years now. Works perfectly and backs up to OneDrive. I've since been forced to abandon my WP for an android phone. I understand that I'll need a new license for the android app, no problem. What I am unsure of is how to migrate the data. I looked in my OneDrive acct and found the Enpass folder containing one file, sync_default.walletx. So here's the question... if I tell my android app to sync to OneDrive, will the file I now have be compatible, or will it be over written by a new blank file (and therefore losing all my data)???

Been using the Enpass & Nextcloud webdav sync for a long time without issue. Noticed today that sync isn't working. Keeps asking me for the password saying there is a mismatch. I can use the same password to login via the Nextcloud webui and also works for other webdav clients. (Gnome desktop Nextcloud integration being one) I'm using Nextcloud V12.0.0 and Enpass 5.5.3

I have just purchased a new Windows 10 computer and downloaded Enpass from Microsoft Store. When I open the Enpass app, I am asked to Restore from Cloud, in my case OneDrive.
