Inspired by the below discussion, I decided to pack up Enpass 6 into a AppImage for those who don't want to have to do all the work to get it on an unsupported distro like Gentoo, Void, etc. Just download it, mark it executable, and run it. I have yet to FULLY test it, but so far it works for me. I expect that auto-start on boot/log-in won't work yet, though. If there's enough interest in this, and Sinew isn't against it ( or better yet, hires me to maintain it officially ), I'll do more thorough testing and get auto-start working. Enpass V. 5.6.9 worked flawlessly. 6.1.1.451 from repository just showed up once, opened correctly and never opened again. Systemtray-Icon is visible but does not restore the window. Starting from terminal resulted in termination of process without error message. A process called enpass showed up. Killing it and restarting doesn't change anything. I checked libcurl3 is installed. Thank god 5.6.9. still works.

Hello there! Using `menu -> file -> backup`, I can create a backup file. How do I restore the backup, especially the Primary vault? If I have an additional secondary vault, Enpass allows to restore backup in that vault via `...` on vault settings but this option is hidden for Primary vaults.

hello! after a reinstall of my computer (running an older enpass 6 version) i cannot import my data into the latest relase. i always get an "invalid file" message. then i tried to import the same data file into an enpass installation on windows 8 - also latest version. it accepts the master password, then i receive an "error -1" messaage. when I enter the wrong password, i receive a "wrong password" message. so it can read the file, i guess... i need my data! how can we resolve this? --- i resolved this by finding a backup file that did install without errors. seems that the location has changed and i tried to install from a 5.x backup, which di…

Hi, every now and then Enpass crashes (Linux and Mac) and I am always submitting crash reports. Are you looking through those, is there any progress? There is no good way to reproduce the issue because it seems to happen for every action.

I am attempting to add a PIN for Quick Unlock but I am receiving the word Error in red when I click the Done button. I have enabled the logs and retried but it states there is no content after I reproduce the error. Attached is a screenshot. I am positive the two match as I clicked on the eye icon to see them.

I've recently installed Ubuntu 19.04 on my laptop with UEFI/SecureBoot and disk encryption enabled. when i tried to restore my vault from my cloud drive, it doesn't accept my masterpassword. after some research I found this: Is there an option to restore the vault with while keeping my disk encrypted? So I'm trying to migrate from Mac OS X to linux and unexpectedly Enpass is proving to be the main sticking point. Originally I had a issue with Enpass crashing after entering the master password but managed to resolve this, however now I can't get the app to talk to the firefox browser extension. I'm running Enpass 5.6.9 on a new install of Debian 10 x64 along with firefox extension version 5.5.2 on firefox 60.8.0esr. clicking on the enpass icon in Firefox just prompts me to enable browser extensions in the app which I have already done. I'm now at a bit of a loss as to what the issue is.

Hey guys, I updated my Enpass app to 6.0 today and have been having issues with scaling since. I can't read anything such as generated passwords. I'm kind of annoyed as I just purchased the Enpass app for Android and now Enpass is broken. My computer setup: OS: arch Linux Window manager: openbox Window compositor: compton Monitors: 1 x 1920x1080 (default = 2560x1440) & 2 x 1680x1080 My guess is that it has something to do with the first monitor as the scaling looks "alright" on the first monitor and awful on the two others. When I try to setup the sync through google drive (which was working fine on version 5) I get the step of authorizing your app. Then the xdg-open opens enpass but a new window and the first window stay always in the state of waiting for authorization process to be complete. After upgrading (actually new installing) my Debian Linux system to buster I miss the Enpass systray icon on the panel of xfce4. I can see a process "/opt/enpass/Enpass -minimize" in task manager and enpass itself works (e.g. by assigning a hotkey od starting it from application menu). Enpass: 6.1.1.451, xfce4: 4.12.5

When I've got my laptop docked to a Hi DPI display I like to tile 4 windows onto the display with my browser in the bottom left quadrant of the screen. (think quadrant 3 on a graph) When I'm creating a new login, the Enpass plugin will automatically open and offer to save the login, as it should. The pop-up opens clear on the other side of monitor, in the upper right quadrant. (think quadrant 1 on a graph) This wouldn't be a very big deal if I didn't use Sloppy mouse/window focus religiously. Hi Guys! I have a little problem with starting Enpass ... Every time I start Enpass the program window starts almost maximized. If I reduce the program window manually and close Enpass, the window remains until the next reboot of the pc or logout the size I set. If I restart the PC or log me out of Linux the window is almost maximized again. Is it possible to set the window size to a fixed value? Greetings Robert

Enpass tor browser extension cannot find the application when installed on a whonix workstation

When I attempt to launch on KDE Neon (5.16.0) with the command /opt/enpass/Enpass %U, it crashes. I've attached a screenshot. I believe it first started with KDE 5.15.5. I am speculating that it is related to update of the underlying QT libraries as this is the major distinction with vanilla Kubuntu 18.04 which is the underlying base for the current version of KDE Neon. I have previously contacted Enpass but they not offered any meaningful assistance. I am a paying customer for the Android version but of course this is the desktop Linux version which does not have a paid option. I am researching switching from Windows 7 Home Premium OS to a Linux OS. I plan to copy my user desktop files and folders to an external drive. Then move everything into the Linux OS. If I install Enpass in Linux and then restore an Enpass backup file from the Win7 system, will it import all my Enpass data into the Linux Enpass program? Would using an export file to CSV work as well or better? Linux OS I am thinking of trying are: Linux Mint-Cinnamon / Zorin core or ultimate / Manajro XFCE / Ubuntu
