Windows Hello Master Password

Hi hysonmb,

There is no option to choose between unlocking by Hello or master password Once you Enable Windows Hello in Enpass Settings, Enpass will prompt you to unlock keychain using Windows Hello Preferences. This behavior will continue until and unless Enpass is restarted either by you or killed by OS. After that it becomes mandatory to unlock by master password. Although in near future we will bring Full-time Hello support.

This is good feature but I hope when implement Windows Hello for the first time login then App should disable enter PIN to unlock.

If user need unlock Enpass then only 2 way: "Master Password" and "Win Helllo". Currently some app support login with Windows Hello but allow user enter PIN ==> it reduce security of Enpass.

Hi @Binh Truong
Thanks for your suggestion and concern about Enpass. After Windows Hello is enabled in Enpass, the authorization of user is done by the Device. The dialog which is presented for authorization is shown by the OS itself. The options like IRIS scanner, fingerprint scanner and PIN are shown if they are supported by device and are setup by user in phone settings. Currently there's no API to restrict the options to be shown in the Hello Authentication dialog.
