pyro57 Posted October 20, 2019 Report Posted October 20, 2019 I'll give a plus one to this... or if you use Enpass on Linux somehow integrating with PAM would work too. Like being able to use PAM's authentication to unlock enpass databases based on user. If you did that then Yubikey would work (or any U2F key for that matter) as would fingerprint (if you have one that works with Linux) or Windows hello style ir camera facial unlock, (thank you Howdy for this btw works great!)
Christian K. Posted December 21, 2019 Report Posted December 21, 2019 (edited) Hi! It would be nice if I could use EnPass with a Yubikey where the Yubikey does the decryption. Edited December 21, 2019 by Christian K.
AnthonyB Posted January 17, 2020 Report Posted January 17, 2020 It looks like there's nothing on the horizon from Enpass to support Yubikeys. While I love Enpass, it looks like time to head over to Lastpass. I don't mind paying USD$36/yr for the Yubikey support.
qvarq Posted May 13, 2020 Report Posted May 13, 2020 Hi, Enpass does still not support Yubikey, right? When will it come then? Thx! 1
Pratyush Sharma Posted July 22, 2020 Report Posted July 22, 2020 Hi @Thomas Vogel, Thanks for writing in. I would like to share that this feature is already in our road map and our team is working on it. Hopefully, the same will be available in the future version of Enpass. Your patience will be highly appreciated. Thanks for understanding.

Garima Singh Posted November 4, 2020 Report Posted November 4, 2020 Hey @Frosty We appreciate your suggestion on the Yubikey support. Please note that we already have a feature request for the same and aligned for implementation in the future. However, we’re not sure of a specific timeline when this will be implemented. Thanks! 2

Cool, thanks! I hope this feature will be released in short term. Just a master password for a password manager is a bit risky imo 2
Ivarson Posted November 21, 2020 Report Posted November 21, 2020 Might we hope for it in version 6.6? 1
TheArcaneFlame Posted December 7, 2020 Report Posted December 7, 2020 +1, would like to see this. Thanks!
Frosty Posted January 4, 2021 Report Posted January 4, 2021 After long thinking about my online security I've decided to leave Enpass and migrate to another password manager. Not because Enpass is not a good tool / password manager. But in my opinion I've less control about my vaults. I want to: - Get a notification when someone tried to login to my Vaults - Have Yubikey (or another hardware key) support - Have the possibility to remotely revoke a device to access to one of my Vaults / delete Vaults on devices I understand that Enpass is designed with other principles but for me is this essential to have faith in my online security.
Ivarson Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 Yubikey-support is mandatory for me as well. Currently, I only use Enpass for storing TOTP-codes, and my first factor passwords are stored in a kdbx with Keeweb, which has excellent yubikey support and crossplattform for desktops.
Boesh Posted February 22, 2021 Report Posted February 22, 2021 +1 I would love to have this security feature. I would even pay extra for it. 1
Pratyush Sharma Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 Hi All, I can't confirm any exact ETA for this but for better safeguarding of your Enpass data you can also add a Keyfile along with the master password which becomes an additional requirement along with your master password to unlock Enpass app. Thanks for your understanding.
Vido Posted April 20, 2021 Report Posted April 20, 2021 Hello, Does Does Enpass include yupikey support for the desktop version? Thanks
BMO Posted May 11, 2021 Report Posted May 11, 2021 Please implement this feature or we have to move the Password Solution. Zero Trust is the solution today, not in 10 Years.
Pratyush Sharma Posted May 12, 2021 Report Posted May 12, 2021 Hi @BMO, Welcome to the forums! I would like to inform you that we already have a feature request for the same and aligned for implementation in the future. Meanwhile for better safeguarding of your Enpass data you can also add a Keyfile along with the master password which becomes an additional requirement along with your master password to unlock Enpass app. Hope this helps!
BMO Posted May 12, 2021 Report Posted May 12, 2021 I know this feature. THX. However, a Youbikey would provide not only for increased security, but also for convenience at the same time!
Pratyush Sharma Posted May 13, 2021 Report Posted May 13, 2021 Hi @BMO, Thanks for the feedback! I had words with my team and glad to share that we do have plans to support Yubikey and other security keys to work as second factor while unlocking Enpass instead of using keyfile. 1
BMO Posted May 13, 2021 Report Posted May 13, 2021 Great News. - Then I wait to switch PW-Manager! The Yubikeys wait in my drawer! I hope that no-PW will be supported!
