I posted this accidentally in the Beta Forum outside of the "Free Desktop Beta Forum". Maybe the other thread can be closed. It would be great to choose a location as a sync destination. For example to sync multiple vaults in a single dropbox. I imagine saving a private.enpassdbsync and a business.enpassdbsync in the same dropbox or any other location on my desktop. This way I could create a shared vault for our company in our dropbox folder and keep my personal data in a separate folder. Also you could also sync with other services not supported by enpass.

As title. Although it is still readable but they are still too small to read comfortably. I've attached screenshots side by side against v5 and explorer.

So somehow Windows Hello only unlocks Enpass once it's running. If you close the application and open it again, it prompts you for your master-password again without the option to use Windows Hello. That takes away the usefulness of Windows Hello. Now it's more of a quick unlock for as long as the database is open. Why doesn't Enpass just use the Platform Crypto Provider to store the passphrase permanently? That way the user never has to type their passphrase again. Hi guys, First of all I would like to thank you for wonderful job with new version. Unfortunately I have the same issues with on screen touch keyboard as with regular version of Enpass on my Surface 3. Since I am using Surface mainly without keyboard I have windows set up to show touch keyboard when there is no keyboard attached. It means, that whenever I click into input field, the keyboard show up and if the input field should be covered with touch keyboard it moves up on screen. Enpass does not behave this way, so when I try to open enpass from taskbar, I have to manually open touch keyboard and it covers the enpass window, so I have to type the password bl…

Hi, I'm trying to setup the Sync with WEBDAV. But it's not working ... I'm using Enpass 6.0.0 (187) Beta on Mac OSX. I checked that the WebDAV is working using Mac Finder and entered the url: https .... PORT(5006)/media and I was able to connect to my folders. When entering the same URL and user/pw into Enpass it tries to sync but then I get a failure: Error -102. (I checked the box to ignore SSL certificate validation, even if the validation should be fine as the cert is issued by Let's Encrypt). If I go for http instead https it's working fine using the same URL schema: http .... PORT(5005)/media. Also interesting is that the sync time is listed as …

Hello, I am on the latest Enpass 6 Beta client for Windows 10 desktop. As of about a week ago, the main Enpass window won't open. It seems to either render off screen or not render at all. This occurs whether I use an external monitor or not. Hello, one of my most-wished features are now in Enpass 6 Beta, be able to upload own icons to the vault, which is quite amazing, but it has still some bugs and missing features, which may are already known and on the list, but I thought I'd post this nevertheless. Unfortunately, the icon itself doesn't resize itself to the correct dimension, so maybe adding this would be very helpful. I don't know if there is any option for this, I didn't found any. I really love windows hello for the app and especially for the browser extension, but this "one extra mouse click" to activate windows hello is annoying. I usually have set a shortcut for enpass in the browser and for the app. Now I can press the shortcut and start typing in my password or PIN but I can't instantly use my Fingerprint to unlock. I need to use my mouse to click on the hello icon to start the process and this really sucks. If it's not possible to do this with an additional interaction, why no "key" for that or why not something like: When you didn't type any char / number …

Enpass 6 beta is showing Error: -96 while syncing with Google drive since 2 days. Any idea how to fix it?

I want to try Enpass 6, but wondering if I will have to download the betas on every platform to do so? Also, what's the plan when version 6 goes live? Will it convert to live automatically? Or will it be another export/import option?

Hello guys, What a great new manager! I love it. You asked for some feedback and I have some: Alt Gr + 2 is for some reason now a keyboard shortcut to open the manager. This is also the shortcut for @ on my keyboard, and now I can't type @ any more. (Scandinavian/Norwegian layout) It would be nice if there was a mouse-over tooltip for these boxes: So I can figure out what they are for without clicking them. Thats it for today!

Hi, My feedback/questions for the Enpass 6 beta for Windows. The UI is too little on my UHD monitor (3840x2160). Need to add option for high resolution display. Highlight the item count number as in Enpass 5 to make it more visible. I'd like import some backup data of Enpass 5 for test, but i'm unable to do it. Add option to change the hamburger menu in a classic menu bar. How do you use the TOTP field? For many services that I use I need to enter a One Time password via mobile app or physical digipass. Scrolling is still horrible. There is still a stupid horrible hamburger menu that makes accessing functions uncomfortable on desktop computer. The desktop app feels like an horrible crossbred mobile app ported to be used on desktop. It is horrible to use. Buttons are far apart from each other, which makes the app horrible to use in general on a desktop computer using a mouse. Enpass 5 used to do everything right and it was awesome. After doing more work in the Beta on Windows 10, my impressions are: 1. the UI is good but requires some getting familiar. It does not seem to follow modern control placement. One thing that is difficult is the amount of distance needed to travel with the mouse to get to successive controls. For example, the edit control is near the middle of the screen, but the save button (which really doesn't look like a button at all) is on the far right. 2. I like the new Identity type. Is it possible to convert the Contact type from Enpass 5 to an Identity type? 3. The new Identity type has odd fields. The Phone Mobile is a duplicate for Phone cell. And the capitali…

Hi, I'm really enjoying Enpass 6 beta in Windows, but when importing passwords from other managers, Enpass does not recognize the "Groups" (or "Folders") field, even if I edit the CSV file and manually type "Tags". I believe that Enpass should recognize it automatically or at least that an import wizard appears to customize the fields as in version 5. Of the rest, Enpass 6 seems to me a marvel.

Hi, I just had a look on Enpass 6 Beta 6.0.0 (41) - and I did not find an import function for vaults from other password managers like 1Password. Enpass 5.6.x had a major problem as it did not import 1Password vault correctly. But now, the development went a step back as there is no import function anymore. Regards, Area

It looks like a mobile app with the UI shoehorned to fit in a desktop. It does not use right-click menus, scrolling is weird and fucked up all through the app, and it does not use the standard menu bar - it puts all actions inside a stupid hamburger menu. The old app used to do everything right - the new app does everything wrong on desktop. I will definitely abandon Enpass if it continues in this direction.

Select desired Vault (Working) 4 Select Copy or Move 5. Thanks for switching on the one drive sync integration. Just one question before i test this - i assume that Version 6 does not use the same sync files as version 5 ? In other words, if i configure V6 to sync with the same onedrive account as V5, V6 wont affect the V5 files already present ?

A few issues that I spotted: 1. Option to hide user name in list view, i. e. instead of showing two lines ("Amazon" + "user@amazon.com"), it should show only the title to increase visibility. 2. Existing password entries cannot be used to create a template. 3. Copying/moving entries between vaults isn't working, it doesn't show up in the destination vault - it shows the 2nd entry in "all vaults" view but it doesn't show up when I only display the destination vault. 4. Location of the database cannot be changed (I'm sure you are already aware of that). 5. Password strength indicator ("Very Poor" etc) should have an option to be turned off. Often, …
