Recently I noticed I'm having a harder time finding a specific account, and then realized it shows the date the entry was created instead of the username. I had to rename a bunch of entries to include the username, which I don't want to do for every website which has multiple credentials. I don't need to know when I created an entry at a glance, but I do need to find usernames at a glance, please change it back.

Since the first beta, I have the problem that Enpass6 does not import the passwords for most elements when importing from an old Enpass5 backup. This is a very severe bug because it's not immediately obvious. Some passwords cannot be easily reset so this is catastrophic.

Enpass 6 Beta 1 was launched on 14 June, Beta 2 on 4 July; now it's 5th October and Beta 3 is nowhere in sight. I can't see how Enpass will ever become a viable option for the corporate environment where I intended to deploy it. I'm outta here. All the best!

Question about keyfile support. I'm trying out the beta builds for Linux, Android and Windows traditional. It appears that the keyfile must have a .enpasskey extension. I always felt that keyfile authentication helped with security because it can be disguised as a random file. Like a photo, or a powerpoint demonstration, etc. By using the .enpasskey extension, its clear to anyone what that file is used for. Am I missing something? I can't seem to use anything other than a .enpasskey file. I don't want to come off as ungrateful though. I do thank you for your product. Been using it for at least a couple years now. Just wondering if there are plans to support any file type.

That is of course efficient, but desktop apps simply have to have desktop experience to them. You should definitely add three additional properties to the menubar enpass window: - keep menubar-window on top - don't hide menubar-window when it loses focus - edit item

I can setup one vault (e.g Primary) to sync with an iCloud account successfully. However if I try to set up a secondary vault with a different iCloud account, this passes Apple's authentication but fails with a message saying this iCloud account is in use with another Enpass vault. Seemingly it can't differentiate between different iCloud accounts in different vaults.

Thank you for finally releasing Enpass6. I found a couple of issues: dark mode needs a complete restart of the app. You should tell the users. Enpass6 intercepts the Alt Gr + 2 keyboard "shortcut" to open the app. However, this combination is used to type the @-sign on Swiss keyboards. Therefore it's no longer possible to type any email address. The Windows Hello prompt hides behind the Enpass6 main window

Is there a way to restore my vault from Enpass 6 to Enpass 5? Alternatively is there a way to export Enpass 6 vaults to CSV? Enpass 6 only seems to be able to export to .txt or .json and backs up to .enpassbackup but Enpass 5 can only import from .walletx or .db

OS: elementaryOS 0.4.1 (Ubuntu 16.04) Browser: Firefox 62.0 Enpass: 6.0.0 (105) Extension: 6.0.0.5 TOTP autofill didn't work for sites neither Nextcloud instances nor popular ones like Github. On Windows machines I didn't notice such behavior with Enpass (version 5, so no beta!). Any ideas?

Hi, I am on linux with chrome and I have the dark mode activated (my gnome desktop is set to dark, and gnome uses system design). With that dark mode the enpass6 icon is hardly visible, because it isn't optimized for that, but that optimization is also possible for chrome extensions, e.g. my google keep extension uses a different theme when dark mode is on. Also the enpass extension for firefox is looking better with dark mode on, so that optimization needs to come to the chrome extension too, please :)

I am trying the beta 6 build 187 and there are no folders. where are they? i make extremely heavy use of them, easily over 1,000 entries. to be clear, i started using enpass specifically and only because 1password did away with folders and tried to pass off tags as a suitable replacement. they aren't! when can we expect folders to appear in the 6.0 beta?

Hi, I'm using Enpass Beta on Windows 10 with a 4K Display. The app does not scale correctly. I use a screen resolution of 3840 x 1260 and 150%. I already set QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=1 QT_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTORS=1.5 but same behavior and reinstalled enpass multiple times. I attached 2 screenshots. Hopefully anyone has an idea.

Enpass 6 on macOS seems to use the discrete graphics card by default, and will not allow the system to switch to the built-in card while the system is running on battery power. This kills batteries, and means that I have to kill Enpass when I'm not running on mains power. Enpass 6 Beta (6.0.0 187)

Hi there, Reporting a bug for the taskbar icon. I am using Enpass 6 beta on Debian Linux Unstable/Sid with Budgie Desktop and the taskbar icon is huge causing the taskbar to stretch its height. Also, the main window upon system startup appears. Is there an option so that it always minimized to tray upon startup? Please advise. Thanks, Kan

So I currently use Enpass 5.6.19 with a personal OneDrive account synced. When I try to sync Enpass 6.0.0 (72) to the same OneDrive account, not all of the items get synced. I'm only seeing 3 out of the 13 items. It also appears that items I update or add are not synced between different versions.

Enpass 6 works a bit different than 5, since now it has at least two files in constant use, making Onedrive unable to operate correctly as long as Enpass is open: As I said, this doesn't work in Enpass 5, as any vault stored in Onedrive was only "used" when saving a new login and only in that moment, and there were no settings file in My Documents folder (any program should use %AppData% instead anyways. I don't want more folders in My Documents, please).

User Interface issues: the new user interface is counter-intuitive compared to Windows desktop norms, for example - having to go to the far right of the screen for the menu which would normally be on the left; Save being at the top of edit panels rather than at the bottom; close being the top left of the panel rather than the top right, etc. Also on large screens it is quite a hassle when clicking on the plus to create a new entry (which is on the left hand side of the screen) for the edit panel to pop out on the far right of the screen. I'm on Enpass 6.0.0 (72) and trying to import a generic CSV file of logins. The import dialog says "you first need to export it from Generic CSV in the supported, unencrypted file". What is the supported format? I can't find any documentation on this. It also says "to know more about exporting the data from Generic CSV, click here" - but there is actually no link to click. When I try to import from my generic CSV, I get the following:

I've been using Enpass for private purposes and am desperate to get it implemented it in my companies. However, I can't yet see Enpass becoming a commercially-viable product. I can only presume that the Enpass team has full-time jobs and they work on Enpass only part-time. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, we all need to make a living.
