I'd first like to register some frustration on how poorly the version 5 to 6 transition (and dropping of platforms) was communicated. I've been a long time user of both the iOS, UWP and WPF versions of the application for many years and never received a single piece of communication about any of these changes. While I understand the reasoning behind them it's left me in a awkward position. Having three different apps (iOS, UWP and WPF) over five devices I didn't notice the lack of sync between the two devices stuck on version 5 (in fact they happily synced between each other) and the other three. I downloaded the Windows 10 (Store) version of enpass and purchased the pro verision just to enable the windows hello option. My problem is that every time the enpass application closes, either if I close it manually or simply restart the computer, the windows hello option in enpass is un-checked/un-selected. The point is not to have to enter the master password every time the computer is restarted. But it seems its not working. Could this be a bug? What can I check to troubleshoot this issue? Thanks

When using multiple vaults, each using different key files, you can only restore the main vault! The problem is that Enpass don't ask for the key file when trying to restore secondary vaults. Situation: I have 3 vaults and manually backed up each vault (Linux Desktop 6.1.1). If I try to restore the backup on a blank Enpass (Windows Desktop 6.1.1) this only works for the main vault backup. Here I will be ask for master password and the key file. But this does not work for the secondary vaults. Enpass only asks for a master password and not for the corresponding key files. I downloaded the client for Windows 10 and enabled the Chrome extension. As I entered passwords into the application, I was told some passwords were really bad and some were just bad. So after I added a couple of them, I went back and changed one or two (happy that I had the old ones written down). I swear I tested them when I changed them by logging into the web sites and then letting the browser extension fill in the data. Today when I tried them, some of the sites were telling me 'invalid login' so I tried the old passwords -- and they worked. A second problem was two of my accounts (aa.com) and (southwest.com) did not accept my passwords from the Enpass browser …

Hello Enpass Team, Yesterday I updated enpass from ver 5 to 6 from inbuilt update option and it worked fine. Today it started to crash after any attempt to copy any of the fields (passwords, username, url etc.). I submitted a crash report with name Michael Chernyshev. Enpass version is 6.1.1 (451). OS - Win10 x64 Version 1809 (build 17763.437). Please help. THanks

I cannot get the latest update to install. It downloads fine, but when I select "Install", Windows Photo Viewer opens and cannot install the update. Any thoughts of help with this? Thank you.

I use OneDrive as my cloud sync. I'm currently using Enpass 6.1.2 (428) for Windows Desktop. I've just changed my Microsoft Account (MSA) password and so need to re-authenticate any apps that use my MSA/OneDrive. Am I correct in assuming that the way to do this in Enpass for Windows is Go into Vault Settings Click 'Disconnect' and confirm validation prompts Go back in and re-setup Sync using OneDrive from scratch. There is no 'cleaner' way to do this? I mean, it works.. but it isn't particularly neat. I get error code :908423 Note : I have a secondary safe, also synced via Webdav, but using a slightly different URL, and this one works fine ! What happened ? I just switched up from Dropbox sync to Box sync due to the stupid 3 device limit on Dropbox. I got switched over relatively seamlessly on all but one of my devices. I successfully synced with Box on my home PC (WIN 10 1903), my work PC (Ubuntu 18.04) and my phone (Galaxy S8). I'm trying to sync with Box on the Windows partition of my work laptop (the same device that's synced on the Ubuntu partition), but every single time I go through the sign-in process Enpass just crashes. Before the update all I need to do to open Enpass on my desktop was left click on it. Now after the last update, when I click on the icon nothing happens. I have to go to my overflow task icons, right click on Enpass, go to the left side and open the menu and then click on "Open Enpass". How do I get it back to simply opening when I click on the icon in the task bar?

I've been user of Enpass for quite a while and I was an happy customer... till the new version with UI change came out... It became a problem for me to use this app, as quite regurally it starts to crash when I want to run it. Reset of the workstation does not solve the problem and the only way I found was to uninstall and reinstall the app and then go trough hustle to set it up again. I'ts been months now and it's still happening and I don't know what to do...

Over the last few days I have been unable to use Enpass on Opera. The extension says "Update Required" - however when I go to the extension store, it says I have the latest version. I also tried the Opera extension by Sinewoft, but that one also does not function since the last update. Missing my Enpass badly.

What if I want to overwrite my local device with what is on the cloud? What if I want to keep what is on my device and overwrite the cloud with new or changed information? Is it possible to lock a browser extension to specific vaults only? I use multiple browsers / chrome profiles and multiple vaults. It would be great if there was an option to lock these to only be able to read specific vaults. For example, I don't want my work chrome profile or browser reading from my non-work vault and vice versa.

I just noticed that the new Windows desktop version now allows fields to be reordered! I asked for this a while ago and am stoked this was added. When creating custom section/fields and having to re-edit, the old version left the account a mess. Now I can re-order and clean things up logically. For those who haven't used it, when editing an account look for the three lines on the right of the field. This is the handle to drag and drop the field to a new location. It's a little hard to see with dark mode, but it's there. Thanks again Enpass!!

My Enpass account is mysteriously gone. Been using Enpass on the desktop, as well as the Firefox extension. Last time I used it was yesterday!! This morning I clicked to open it and was greeted with the "Setup Required" dialog. None of the restoration options seem to work. I even tried the new user process, but that gave me an error message "There seems to be an issue creating the vault". What now?

Why doesn't my win7 system display Chinese?

Hi, I am trying to purchase the premium version (win 10 store) of enpass. I am running my PC (and all software in general) in english. This typically works fine. However, after adding my payment details, the form for the address is prefilled with the country UK (which is wrong). I have already checked my windows profile. This seems to be fine and recocnizes that my prefered language is english but my country of residence is Germany... So there must be something wrong with the windows store linked to the installed enpass version on my PC. (I also only get the price shown in GBP) Kind regards, JS

Recently I am not able to copy a password, name, or anything I have tried from Enpass to Windows 10 Enterprise (1809) clipboard. There is a pause and the Application closes. Event manager says Enpass stopped communicating with Widows and was closed by the OS. Now the only way to get a password from it is to view the password and type it in. Keeping my passwords on a notepad page stored encrypted on a cloud drive would be better. I should note that I am running Enpass on a windows 10 pro (1903) without issue. And that the change was recent most likely involving a Microsoft patch update.
