I'm currently using Enpass 6.0.4 on Ubuntu 18.04 (64 bit), and I found this issue. Steps: select a subtag (es. Customers > Customer 1) click on an item with this tag edit the item save Issue: it loses the subtag selection, and return to "All elements" view. Expected result: after saving the edited item it should stay in the current selected subtag view. This is useful when reviewing and correcting many items inside a subtag.

As the topic suggests, if i purchase the premium version from the windows 10 store will the features be available on all of my other systems? I use Enpass for both work and personal use (vaults are a whole new frustration) but since on our enterprise windows 10 devices we cannot access the Windows store because it is blocked by policy. Since 95% of the time I am accessing things from my work system I would hope to have access on all systems? I'm not going to purchase it if its only going to work on my 1 system. Thanks, Ben

I have notes that are very large. It would be nice to have a search option to search inside of the note I'm looking at that highlights the searched word or phrase.

Is there a way to choose the vault when logging in? With multiple vaults the default is always the primary vault so everyone is able to access other people’s passwords. This is the case for the extensions but also for the Enpass application.

After reinstalling enpass (6.0.3.263) I cannot restore my data. The error message is wrong password. The password is 100% correct (copy/paste).

Hello, I edited an password entry and set the password expiry to -1 days (in KeePass the password expired in the past so I wanted to expire it in Enpass too). But when I edit the entry a second time then I see now -24855.134814814814 days! If you don't allow negative values you should show an error message. Best regards OLLI

The new version is buggy: a search for r+v (letter followed by a special character) does not return a result. It's really annoying that it is impossible now to duplicate entries anymore.

I am a new user to Enpass. I have setup Enpass and an extension to my browser Firefox. I can make it operate as long as I am logged into Enpass then the extension shows the required details for the url. Is this how it should work? ie I must be logged into Enpass for the brwser extension works?

Is there a way to use Enpass to autofill a password for Truecrypt? All Truecrypt asks for is a password. It does not ask for a user name. It does not have a web address associated with it. Thanks for any help.

Hi, I have Enpass 6.0 on Windows 8.1 laptop. When I go to some of the websites,, they have those secret questions like Mothers name, City Born, etc. Now, how do I keep track of these secret questions in Enpass and how can those entries be autofilled from Enpass when I am in the website? Thanks.

Hi, I'm using Enpass in a Windows 10 laptop and in an android OS, both are saved in the same Cloud (googledrive) and both seam to have diferent databases, they doesn't have the same information. I don't know what to do anymore. Thanks

How do I restore a wifi backup file to Enpass 6.0.4.281 running on Windows 10? There used to be a restore option but this no longer exists in the 6.0.4.281 console. Thanks, Paul.

Enpass on Windows 10 mobile is no longer syncing. There is no warning message or anything to indicate that syncing is not working but new items entered on Windows 10 mobile are not being reflected in the Windows 10 desktop version, and visa versa.

Hello, I faced a very disturbing issue. The TOTP code generated by the Windows 10 app and the one on the mobile app (iOS) are different. The one on the Windows 10 app is wrong. I checked with a few different credentials that I have with TOTP, and it was the case every single time. Windows 10 version: 6.0.4 iOS version: 6.0.4 (222) I would suggest a quick fix, this can be very frustrating/infuriating to get around. Still, the new version of enpass is awesome ! Cheers !

When using the search by password facility, the list includes items where neither the current password (nor any previous password in the history) match the search term

Hi guys, maybe i oversee something but I didn't found anything similar. I'm looking for a way to change the default vault directory form C:\Users\xxx\Documents to another. Since we use KnownFolderMove the documents directory is synced to the cloud and this conflicts when using multiple instances of Enpass. The Identical Audit groups the Items by password. In each group you would expect to find at least 2 items. Howecver, I have a few cases where the group contains only 1 item. Moreover, using the search facility to search by password across all vaults, only finds that one item with that specific password. So it would appear that there are false entries in the Identical Audit list. Also, having run a pwned check, I change the passwords of those accounts which had been marked pwned. Just upgraded to Enpass 6.0 on Windows 10, traditional Win32 version. Immediately after update, I noticed that auto-lock when enpass is idle feature has been removed. Now only auto lock when system idle for 1 minute exists which unnecessarily causes my enpass vault to be unlocked for a longer period & I'm not comfortable with that. For whatever reasons, they decided to keep this feature on the Android version. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm using Enpass 6 on Linux with Google Chrome (unstable). On some websites, auto filling the login form results in filling in the form and reloading the page instead of posting the form. Opening the same page on a new tab temporarily solves the issue but after some time it occurs again. I'm not sure whether this is an issue with the Enpass extension or Chrome. I also did some debugging: There is no POST request (which is done when submitting the same login form on another tab). The page is simply reloaded. Given what a trainwreck Enpass6 is I migrated to my own Bitwarden installation. While occasionally checking back on Enpass I noticed that importing from Bitwarden will only ever import 34 out of my few hundred items. So... ugh.. fix plz?

When i start a search in enpass 6.04 the app hang then it take 10 or more seconds before i see results.
