Hi, I have a problem with the installation of my enpass firefox extension. It just doesn't work. It's not possible to connect the App with the extension. It didn't work with version from the microsoft store and it didn't work with the version from the website (see below). I don't know what to do. For me the app is quite useless without the extension. I have installed the Enpass extension for Edge, but it won't show up in Edge's extension list. Am I doing something wrong? My guess is that I have to configure the extension through the extensions menu? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the extension without success. I am running Win10 insider preview fast ring (18305).

Hi there, I really regret that Enpass switched from folders to tags. When I enter a new username/password combination Enpass asks to save it. So far, so good. But I can't enter a tag in the dialogue :-( So now I have a bunch of new entries without tags. Unfortunately I haven't find a way to select only entries without tags to tag them afterwards. Neither seems to be a way of showing entries by date so that I can edit the latest additions. Any input would be greatly appreciated! For the moment I strongly consider changing to Bitwarden...Enpass 6 is more than a disappointment for me. And the support of Enpass (that has been good for me in the last years) is s…

How do I open an existing vault? I have a new machine. The vault is on a USB drive. I have installed Enpass. When I open Enpass, it asks to either "Restore from Cloud" or "From this PC\Backup File". Is there an option to just open an existing vault from Enpass v6?? Thanks. Windows 10 Enpass 6.0.4

Hello, it seems to me, that since last update of enpass (Windows store version 6.0.4 (268)) sync with OneDrive is broken. I use enpass on my PC, notebook and iPhone. Everytime I add a password on any device and sync with OneDrive, I got a "Sync Error - Conflict in syncing data with OneDrive.". After resolving the error by merging, the error shows again on the next change I made - even if I do it only on my PC (all other devices are off at this moment...). Disconnecting und reconnecting doesn't solve the problem. Do you have any recommendations, what I can do?

Hi guys, I'm new to EnPass, and wanted to run a scenario by more knowledgeable folks to make sure I'm not doing anything dumb. My configuration is simple, one desktop PC, and one iphone. Have enpass installed on both. I've loaded up passwords on PC, synced them to one of the supported clouds, and pulled them down on my iphone, all no problem. I'm a paranoid SOB especially when dealing with passwords, so the thought of that sync file, even though encrypted, out in the cloud bugs me. So what I have done is manually dump that sync file off of the cloud. Now if I follow the rule (limitation) that I can only create/dekete/update passwords on my desktop, is this safe …

Hello, I can't find a newer version of Enpass portbale for Windows in the enpass web site. The last version that I downloaded was v5.6.9. The current version for Windows (not portable) is v6.0.4. Has the portable version of Enpass been discontinued?. I'll appreciate your comments. Thank you.

There are too many universally experienced bugs for a small support / development team to chase in an organized fashion that will not result in a much degraded product that will be much harder to maintain and upgrade going forward. Many of the bugs create security issues (e.g. the failure of Enpass browser extensions to block access to web login sites until the Enpass master password is entered, then subsequent failure to load the info from the vault for the page with the login controls (UID, password). I am still using Enpass version 5.6.10 on my Windows 7 laptop, but my Android devices (smart phone and tablet) are using 6.0.3.195. The Android versions are working/syncing just fine, but I can't even get into my desktop Enpass because it won't accept my master password. It used to work, but not anymore. Anyone have a suggestion for fixing this problem?

Is there any way, that I can install Enpass 6 without administrator priviliges on a computer at work? I did test-drives with Dashlane and 1Password, but ultimately decided to go with Enpass - it provides all the features, that I want and need. Interestingly enough, Dashlane and 1Password could be installed on a work-computer running Win7Pro without problems, but Enpass was blocked because of the need for Admin installation priviliges. How comes? Can you change the installation routine, somehow? Despite checking the Open Automatically at System Startup, the traditional Windows version of Enpass does not open at start up. The store version works fine. I've also found the registry entry which the store version creates to Open enpass at startup, and can see this being created and removed when changing the option in the store version settings. However, when trying to change the settings in the traditional version, no registry entry is created\removed. Matthew

I use Enpass on multiple devices. First of all, the upgrade to V6 forced me to "upgrade" the database multiple times. This is pretty obnoxious. On my work laptop, it simply crashes to desktop. I've uninstalled and then reinstalled the latest Windows desktop version, but now whenever I import from Google Drive it crashes with no message. So I'm looking for troubleshooting steps. Is there a log file somewhere that might indicate the problem? Is there a way I can ensure that I'm completely removing Enpass from my work laptop so that I can stop fresh? Thanks for any guidance.

Am running Enpass 6.0.0 on a Windows 10 PC. My Enpass database is a hidden file on Google Drive. I see there's auto backups and found how to save a manual backup, (I assume it's from the hidden file on Google Drive), but I can't find a restore function to restore the backup to the hidden file on Google Drive. Since the newest update (V6) the firefox extension often crashes. There is a blank popup with no further reaction no content etc. When clicking on in Windows 10 tells me that the program doesn't respond. Furthermore the application itself has stopped working sometimes when starting the PC. I've purchased Enpass for Windows 10 to use the convenience of the fingerprint last week and thus I'm very disappointed with the problems. Are these issues known and will be handled soon?

Since the new version (Enpass 6.0.0.198) they change the policy of lifetime free Windows versions. With this version you have to pay for Windows Desktop Premium functions and it only works if you have the Windows Store installed. My version (Windows 10 LTSC) dont have a Windows store. I'll hope they find a solution for that.

I installed enpass 6.0.0 (2.3.0) on Windows 10 (Version 1809, Build 17763.195). There are UI icons missing as you can see in the following screenshots. I tried reinstalling the software but that did not resolve the issue. The icons are missing in several areas of the UI. Instead of the icons small rectangles are shown. Hello, I want to use enpass on a Mac with two users. The storage location is a shared folder where all users have full access rights. I want to use 3 different vaults, each with its own password protected. Vault-1 (default): access with master password possible Vault-2: Access only possible with Vault-2 Password Vault-3: Access only possible with Vault-3 Password Application example: Several family members use the Mac with their own user profile, start Enpass from the mentioned common folder. The Vault-1 area should contain passwords accessible to all users, Vault1 + 2 only personal passwords. How can I implement this?
