Hi all, After testing, any attempt to sync my wallet to the Dropbox (or any) cloud service doesn't work. The wheel is spinning but I am not redirected to the page for login. I attempted to open via xdg-open in a terminal, and everything is fine, but apprently the application doesn't show anything. I also tried to launch from the script Enpass, and no log for error or whatsoever. Any solution ?

Gnome in version 3.26 removes legacy system try. From this time the system try icon of enpass isn't visible in any way. If I use topicons plus extension or appindicator extension to gnome shell it isn't visible too.

Can't get either the stable or beta linux version to sync with google drive on ubuntu 16.04 lts. Error shown is: There went something wrong while synchronizing. (Error code: -118) which appears to be a failure to get the data file. I can see some TLS 1.2 traffic with a google host which seems to terminate after an encrypted alert so I can't see why. I can't see how to trigger debug output although there are signs it can be done in the binary. I tried turning off all sync and renaming the Enpass dir in google drive, same error afterwards. What should I do next?

The only way I managed to make Enpass connect, as an existing user, to Webdav over Owncloud installed to my QNAP NAS TS-110 was by connecting to the server and manually save the walletx file to the PC, then run the Enpass installer again and choose "Backup file" in the "Restore" dialog of the installation wizard. After successfully restoring the existing user this way, I now can open the Toos->Settings->Sync options and manually enter there the connection information for the Webdav/owncloud option!

Hi, I am using Enpass on a xubuntu system using the vivaldi browser. I installed the enpass browser-extension and it works. Whenever I start my browser with "--proxy-server=localhost:3128" (which is my proxy-server) the browser-plugin can't communicate with enpass (Enpass connection error). Any advice how I can fix this? Thanks in advance. Christian I am using: os: xubuntu [Ubuntu16.04.3 LTS] browser: Vivaldi v1.12.955.38 (Stable channel) (64-bit) enpass: v5.6.0 browser-extension: Enpass v5.5.0,

I installed Enpass on SolusOS 3 Linux via 3rd party software center. It works properly. However the Firefox (56.0.2, 64-Bit) Enpass extension (5.5.0.2, 4 Nov 2017) doesn't. When I'm on any login page and click the Enpass extension, it shows me the Enpass Connection Error page instead of filling the fields with the login data: Of course the settings are correct and Enpass is running: This is the output of my lsof -i:10391 Any idea what's wrong? Thanks for helping me. Toto

On Arch Linux, copying the password using the copy icon doesn't work. It only works when I Edit the item View the password Select the password Copy the password (right-click + copy, or Ctrl-C) This is both annoying, and insecure (I don't want to see the password) The browser autofill functionality works fine.

Chrome extension not working Hi, I am running the enpass app on linux ubuntu 16.04 using the chrome extension. When I click the enpass icon in the extensions area (top right corner), I get the following error: Enpass Connection Error Please start Enpass desktop app and make sure you have checked "Enable Browser Extension" in Enpass Preferences, before using Enpass Browser Extension. Now of course I have tried this, and I am sure that it is all enabled. I've tried, clicking and unclicking + redownloading the app.

Hi there, I use Enpass 5.5.6 on Arch linux with i3 (as the main window manager) and XFCE applets and I have the following issues: When I activate the system tray and autostart options, the next time I start the computer the system tray icon is not show (I have to manually uncheck and check it again). Environment: AntergOS (Arch) i3 version 4.13 Enpass 5.5.6 exec --no-startup-id exec /opt/Enpass/bin/runenpass.sh startWithTray Any idea why? Thanks in advance.

Hello, First, sorry for my bad english, I will use Google Translate from the French. I was using Keepass, but I wanted a simple, user-friendly, cross-platform manager that allows me to use automatic filling easily on Windows and Linux. I installed Enpass, which is very well done, and I installed the extension for Firefox. Before passing completely to Enpass on my 2 systems (Windows - Linux), I do the test on Linux, but the automatic filling does not work. My configuration: Linux Mint 18.1 Firefox 52.0.1 64bit Extension Enpass password manager 5.3.4 Enpass 5.5.2 Could you tell me if this is normal or if I have to do something specifically to make it work? Thank you very much

Hi, I'd really appreciate it, if I were able to access Enpass "Mini" outside the browser on Linux, like it's already possible with MacOS (and presumably Windows). I don't want to have to use a full-blown desktop app just to look up a single password. (Using Linux Mint 18.1, Cinnamon Desktop (Gnome 3 derivative), Enpass 5.5.0.2 (beta))

New update of Enpass Beta is rolled out for Traditional Windows and Linux
Guest posted a topic in Desktop
Hi folks! We have just rolled out a new Enpass Beta update for Traditional Windows and Linux. The complete changelog of this beta is here: WHAT'S NEW Option to disable updates & analytics: Enpass connects to internet for cloud syncing, checking for updates and collecting anonymous analytics. From now onwards, you can control how you want to behave Enpass for update checking and sending Analytics from Advanced preferences. We recommend you to keep the update checking option enabled as this is the only way we can notify you regarding some important security news or update but participating in analytics program is your own choice. IMPROVEMENTS Improved attachments- We have improved the image compression while attaching images and have also added a zoom button to the Attachments Image viewer. FIXES CSV/DSV Import- A very rare but critical bug that may lead to undefined behavior for any user action on any specific field of item imported using generic CSV/DSV importer. Fixed. Another issue while importing from generic CSV/DSV was encountered when the data contains special German letters. Fixed. (Windows only) There was an issue with File chooser dialog which when invoked over Settings window, and then user let the Enpass auto locks. Unlocking will the let the Enpass user interface in unstable state. Fixed and checked. Fixed an issue where EnpassHelper gets crashed while unlocking browser extension with quick unlock PIN. An issue where enabling sync with WebDAV/ownCloud was stuck at connecting has been fixed. Autosave dialog of Enpass helper used to behaving aberrantly by fluctuating once from localized to English language. Fixed. SafeInCloud import notes bug fixed. Other minor fixes. Download links Download for Windows v5.5.1 (.exe) Download for Linux v5.5.0-2 64 bit (Installer) For Debian Beta Notifications Windows: To receive the notifications about the future Beta updates in the app itself, you have to just enable the 'Beta Updates' from Enpass Advanced settings in preferences. Linux: For help in installing the Beta update of Enpass, check-out this FAQ. So what are you waiting for. Download it and share your feedback. Also don't forget to highlight the bugs or issues. Cheers! -
When I adjust settings on Linux (Arch Linux), settings do not persist after I close the app. How is data saved and loaded? How can I ensure that my settings persist after closing the app?

I didn't see a public facing bug/issue tracker, so I'm assuming everything should be entered here. Hello, the Linux installer contains unnecessary .DS_Store files, which are created by the Finder on OS X to store icon position etc. You can find them using: find ~/.local -name ".DS_Store" I think you can't prevent Finder to create these files, but you could exclude those files from your VCS so they can't accidently be commited again.

I'm having issues syncing with any of the sync providers on app version 5.4.1 and 5.5-BETA on Fedora 25. I am able to launch the browser and authenticate, but the desktop app says that it is unable to connect to the internet. I can try and curl or WGET the URL prefilled in the browser after authentication, and the connection is refused on this port. I have my firewall, iptables, and selinux disabled and it doesn't make a difference. I can provide any additional logs or information if needed, but I cannot find anything pertinent on my own.

Hello, Enpassianss! From the past few months, we've been working hard to bring this magnificent update v5.5 with the most demanding feature to support attachments in Enpass. All new Attachment support Yes, you got it right, from now on, you can attach any file to Enpass, be it the snap of your Credit Card or your Passport or even any other file that you want to keep confidential in your Enpass vault. Check out the Attachment help page here. Fixes Fixed an issue when syncing with Google Drive used to stop due to the creation of multiple database files in Drive. Now sync will continue to function with the latest Enpass database. Expect more improvements to come in future builds. Download You can download the latest beta v5.5 for your platform from the links below, and make sure to quit the existing Enpass app (even from System tray or Menu bar) before installing beta. Download for Windows (.exe) Download for Mac (.dmg) Download for Linux- 64-bit (Installer) The beta update will overwrite existing Enpass app. Please report the bugs or issues here and keep the dice rolling. Have fun!

As reported by our users Enpass 5.2 on Arch Linux is crashing on start. This is due to change in which we prefer to use system bundled version of OpenSSL instead of our own. But OpenSSL installation in archlinux is missing a required function. Please execute following command use bundled version of OpenSSL instead. $ ln <your-enpass-install-dir>/libs/libssl.so.1.0.0 <your-enpass-install-dir>/libs/libssl.so

Hi, since the last update to v5.2 I notice sometimes high CPU usage caused by Enpass. This stops only if I kill the Enpass process completely. Has anyone else even this behavior?
