martin-le Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 Hello, after update to Enpass 6.0 I' am unable to set the shortcut for autofilling. The docs says: "Go to Preferences → Extensions → Select Enpass in the sidebar → from here you can set the shortcut." https://www.enpass.io/docs/manual-desktop/browser_ext_setting.html#creating-keyboard-shortcut But there is no option at all see attached screenshot regards Martin 1
Ulmisch Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 Same here. This Update is a step back regarding browser extensions, because of the missing shortcut. Please fix it!
Florian Kriener Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 I have the same problem. Safari shortcut can't be set.
SaW Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 Same here. Default shortcut is unusable with safari. A step back.
dougiew Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 Same here - App Store says to open extension but it is not there!
Yogesh Kumar Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 Hi all, Sorry for inconvenience. Safari Shortcut will make comeback in upcoming update. Cheers:) 1
kaardowiq Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 Same here; unable to use autofill.
Denis Posted December 29, 2018 Report Posted December 29, 2018 Same here. I also would like to see enpass icon in the toolbar Example
Bassam Posted January 3, 2019 Report Posted January 3, 2019 (edited) I updated the Enpass to 6.0.2 today, they fixed the filling but now it is terrible . I have to press "command + /" then I have to choose the login name from Enpass assistant and then press enter to be filled. So I need 3 steps to do it while in the past it was only press "command +/" and then it will be filled automatically. I enabled "Autofill details without showing Enpass assistant" but it is the same. Also, I noticed that "command+/" has different service in Safari which is to view and hide the status bar . I hope you can fix this as all other password managers have it. doing Edited January 3, 2019 by Bassam adding other information 1
C__O Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 (edited) The shortcut doesn't work on a German keyboard layout. Does anyone the corresponding combination? I would really like to switch from 1Password but this is an essential feature for me. Edited January 4, 2019 by C__O 2
Florian Kriener Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 Same here. Nothing Changed at German Keyboard Layout with 6.0.2. 1
SaW Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 Same here. Unusable with german keyboard. Very annoying. 1
StefanT Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 (edited) ......very bad...........disappointed......... Edited January 4, 2019 by StefanT
_Eric Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 (edited) This needs to be fixed ASAP. It makes Enpass very cumbersome to use in Safari without a shortcut. Edited January 4, 2019 by _Eric
aktivomat Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 It's working but only with a German keyboard with numeric keypad (see screenshot). On a MacBook... no chance... very frustrating that it's not possible to set a custom shortcut for this. I just switched from 1Pass and I'm getting to regret it...
Florian Kriener Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 Why is it not implemented as in version 5 where I could freely choose my key combination? 2
Vinod Kumar Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 Hi all, 3 hours ago, Florian Kriener said: Why is it not implemented as in version 5 where I could freely choose my key combination? We are working on it. We provided a hard-coded shortcut to make it available earlier. Here is a workaround(ugly fix) for German Keyboard Layouts: 1. Finder->Go->Go to Folder-> enter below path ~/Library/Group Containers/7ADB8CC6TF.in.sinew.Enpass-Safari-Group/Library/Preferences Download the attached plist file with this post and paste inside the folder. Overwrite the existing one. REBOOT YOUR MAC(do this just after pasting). Your safari keyboard shortcut will be "Cmd+ ä" now. Thanks. 7ADB8CC6TF.in.sinew.Enpass-Safari-Group.plist 1

C__O Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 After restarting the Mac, I get an error "can't connect to extension". After reauthorizing it (which seems like a bug to me), the shortcut is working fine. Thanks,

C__O Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 @Admin I wanted to report other bugs, but unfortunately, the spam protection system of this forum doesn't allow me to open new threads for no obvious reason ("forbidden").

wpbloyd Posted January 5, 2019 Report Posted January 5, 2019 Hi, new user here! Just trying to understand what should I do to have a safari shortcut as "cmd + \" . A manual shortcut is (for now) pretty much ok
Jörg Posted January 7, 2019 Report Posted January 7, 2019 What should be the correct entry for 'ctrl+option+space' ?
