Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions

Hi, in my 2 PC using firefox and the official Enpass extension in windows 11 (edge works fine) I get this message when I try to autofill with firefox extension, it started happening today, I have been using it without problems in these PC for months, until today, obviously I already configured the extension with the PIN code in order to use it. There is a screenshot with the popup message attached, let me translate it for you: I am closing this popup everytime until I know what is happening, any clues?, does it happen anyone else?

Hi, I'm using Enpass on a Windows 7 Environment. Enpass Version 5.6.5 Firefox Version 59.0.1 (64 bit) Plugin Version 5.5.2 Autofill works in Firefox, but I have to wait about 20 seconds until the username and password gets filled in. It doesn't make a difference whether I use the plugin icon or the context menu. After the element is chosen nothing happens for about 20 seconds. Then the credentials get autofilled. Is this a known issue? I didn't find any forum topic for this... Best regards, Ruppel

Since one week my Enpass Firfox addon isn't working probably. Whenever I open the drop down window it's scaled down to 25% of the normal size and the the rest is colored red (see screenshot). However the mouse clicks are taken as if it would be displayed normally. Therefore, the addon is not usable anymore since I cannot click password entries, buttons etc. I already tried reinstalling the addon but the bug is still there. Does anyone has an idea what I could do?

Hi Forum, I've been using Enpass for quite a while now and I'm absolutely a fan of it. Recently I joined the website bitvavo. bitvavo is a crypto currency site, so 2FA is a must. The problem on this site is that the login form asks for username, password and TOTP in 1 form. Enpass is only filling username and password resulting in an error. If I first copy/paste the TOTP it works ok, but of course it would be nice not needing to do that. Thanks for looking into this!

This seems to be an old problem: ..but as I've just started using Home Assistant, I'm re-reporting it. I'm finding that Enpass won't autofill the username or password on either the webpage (using Edge on Windows 10 with Enpass 6.8.0 (1002)) or on my multiple Android devices using the Home Assistant app and Enpass 6.7.1.572. Login also includes TOTP so having Enpass not working is quite cumbersome. Home Assistant is a home automation system (https://www.home-assistant.io/) that you install and run. I have a website where I have to use a password which consists of 4 numbers and the 2fa code. Actually I'm using the shortcut to fill in the password and pressing "ctrl+v" to copy the 2fa code directly behind the password. Is it possible to automatically fill in the 2fa code directly behind the password? I couldn't find a setting for this behavior.

I use premium enpass for years now and I'm really satisfied by it and recommend it to everyone I know. I'm also a Developer and one thing that I would like to find out is, how we can implement OTP autofill with enpass on our websites? For example: I visit a webpage, I use my keyboard shortcut to fill out the username and password and submit the form. Now the OTP field shows up and I want enpass to automatically, or with the same keyboard shortcut, to fill out the OTP field. Is this possible? How does the HTML Input field need to look like? Special name, type or attribute? Thank you in advance and keep up the good work!

After a recent Enpass update, I started getting this when signing into sites in my browser. Is there any way that I can make it less intrusive or smaller?

Just a curiosity: I have several logins for the same site and I have named them 1, 2, 3, etc. When Enpass suggests me the logins, it orders them in another way... look at the attached image. Is there any way to get them in the correct order? Thank you

Hello, I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox on android, and one of the things I've noticed is that autofilling no longer works . I've tried both regular and nightly versions of Firefox for android, with no avail. Autofilling still works in Chrome. Is this a known issue, or is there anything I can do to fix this? Cheers

I really enjoy the new Inline Autofill Popup Menu, but it can be a bit intrusive and I would almost prefer to not have it show on page load. There is a setting to disable it, but then it also removes the input icon. I would prefer to keep the input icon so if I click on it then it would show the Inline Autofill Popup menu. So it would be great if there was a setting for "Hide Inline Autofill Popup on page load". This setting would only be available when "Show Inline Autofill Popup Menu" is enabled. Also if you click on the input icon (which shows user intent) then the Inline Autofill Popup Menu should show above all other menus or context menus. Currently the …

Hi, I'm using the portable Thorium browser (Chromium based) with the latest version of the Enpass browser extension from google web store. The connection to the desktop app is working fine and I also can use the options from the Enpass main and context menu. But in the input fields I can't see the saved entries from Enpass. Here some screenshots from original chrome (where it is OK) and Thorium (where it is not) to show what I mean. Often a merchant will require a billing zip code along with the credit card number. Is there a way to put a zip code in a credit card entry in Enpass so that it, too, will autofill along with the card number and CVV?

Hello, since yesterday I'm experiencing problems with the chrome extension for mac. If I visit the following site the extension does not react anymore (neighter by clicking on the extension-icon in the browser bar nor by trying to fill in credentials in the login form nor by visiting another site, where enpass still works as expected). In most cases enpass crashes totally and only a restart of the app will help. Hello I am looking for 1Password replacement(after going subscription) the closest thing I found is Enpass especially with the shortcuts. I tried the autofill but it does not autofill. It brings up a mini window then you have to choose that 1 login username by doing ↓ then click enter then repeat for the password if on the next page. Using 1password if I click cmd+\ it fills all the fields automatically, it even fills the password if the password field loads on the next page like on Amazon website. Am I doing something wrong or is EnPass incapable of this?

On most sites when I select a certain user, Enpass will fill both the username and the password. However with Authelia (https://www.authelia.com/) it seems like Enpass thinks the password field it's a "change password" field. Is there any way to fix this in the settings?

Hey there. My bank recently updated their login page and now autofill is no longer fully working. After submitting the username manually a new page gets loaded. On that page you are required to input your password. Somehow autofill still works fine on that second page. In several browsers (Chrome, Opera, Edge) the Enpass extension doesn't work anymore. Instead of the extension, a page will always open with an "Enpass Connection Error", although the application is open and the browser extension is enabled in the settings of Enpass. Removing and reinstalling the extension does not improve the behaviour. Only in Firefox everything works without problems. I'm using Enpass 5.6.6 on Windows 10.

Hi there, since upgrading to v6, Autofill is working but very slowly. It takes a least around 15-20 seconds before the dialog pops ups System information: macOS 10.14.2, Enpass 6.0.2 (292), Safari browser, synchronization is done via iCloud Any clues why this is happening? Appreciate the help!

Since upgrading to version 6 in, November/December don't remember exactly, I've been having a few issues i didn't have previously and after working with Enpass and specifically the chrome extension for a while these are the things that still annoy me today. 1. When first installing the Extension in Chrome the Shortcut key (ctrl+/) doesn't work. I have to go into the extensions settings and rebind it to (Ctrl+/) before it will work. Hello, I have noticed lately that the chrome autofill extension has stopped working with Google's signin forms. I have to copy/paste the password in, and even if I choose to save the login again, once prompted, it will still not form fill the next time I need to log in.

Hi, My browser just auto updated enpass tot the latest version. Now I am getting an 'ad' showing a brief video (see screenshots down below). In this video Enpass had an inline field icon with prefill selections. I want this! How do I enable this on my extention. I have been a pro user for ages now and I would like to stay that way :)... The current way I am using is via the extention icon in the toolbar of Chrome.. This is sometimes cumbersome. Thanks in advance
