Your suggestions are highly appreciated, and we always welcome ideas to improve our service. Here's a response to your feature requests: **Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Enpass Login:** While we don't currently offer native 2FA or MFA options within Enpass, you can enhance your account security by utilizing the keyfile feature as a form of 2FA. This adds an extra layer of protection by requiring both your master password and the keyfile to access your vault.

Thank you for providing additional details. To help resolve your issue, could you please check the following: 1. Multiple Enpass Apps: Are you using multiple versions of the Enpass app, such as the version from the Mac App Store and the version from the Enpass website? This can sometimes cause conflicts. 2. Browser Extension Communication: The Enpass browser extension communicates with the Enpass app over the localhost address. Please verify that no third-party security software, extensions, or firewalls are interfering with localhost connections on ports 10391 to 10395. To check this, you can run a command in the Terminal: - Open the Terminal on your Mac. - Type the following command and press Enter: ``` lsof -i:10391 ``` If this command shows no output (blank), try the same command with other port numbers between 10391 and 10395. Please share the output of these commands with us.

Enpass Einträge werden in der Cloud immer wieder gelöscht.
Amandeep Kumar replied to Tabosi's topic in Mac
To ensure your data isn't deleted when you sync with Google Drive, please follow these steps: Make sure you have a secure backup of your Enpass data stored locally on your Mac. On your Enpass app, go to the sync settings and disable any existing sync with Google Drive or any other cloud service. Log into your Google Drive account and check the Enpass folder. If there are any old or corrupted sync files, consider removing them to avoid conflicts. Go back to your Enpass app and re-enable the sync with Google Drive. When prompted, select the option to merge data rather than overwrite to ensure your current data is combined with the data on Google Drive. By following these steps, you can avoid data deletion and ensure that your Enpass data is safely synced across your devices. If you continue to experience issues, please provide more details or screenshots so we can assist you further. -

To resolve Enpass forgetting its configuration on Linux Mint 21, try the following steps: 1.Ensure Enpass has the necessary permissions to read and write its configuration files. 2.Verify that the configuration files are stored in a persistent directory like `~/.config/Enpass`. 3. Ensure the files and directories are owned by your user and have the correct permissions. Use: ```bash sudo chown -R $USER:$USER ~/.config/Enpass sudo chmod -R 700 ~/.config/Enpass ``` 4.Sometimes a fresh install can resolve configuration issues. Backup your data, uninstall Enpass, and then reinstall it. If issues persist, consider reaching out to Enpass support at support@enpass.io for further assistance.

Please open the main Enpass app and follow these steps: Search for the item in the Enpass app that was added via the Browser extension and share the results. Add any new items and check if the newly added item gets saved in Enpass. You can verify this by searching for the item or by using the Sort By "Created Time" option. Please share a screenshot of this. Have you installed two Enpass apps (one from the Website and one from the Mac Store)? If so, please let us know. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

We appreciate your feedback. However, due to data security concerns, we cannot recommend removing the password-protected encryption requirement for shared items. While we acknowledge that this change may inconvenience some users, it is essential for maintaining the security and integrity of your shared information. We're constantly evaluating our features and considering user feedback, so your input is valuable to us.

OTP autofill developer question
Amandeep Kumar replied to randomguy's topic in Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions
Currently, the extension doesn't fully support filling in all six individual 2FA fields. However, it can automatically populate most of the six-digit TOTP fields because the website handles that internally. The extension intelligently guesses the single TOTP field based on common keywords and tries to autofill it. Then, the website distributes the filled TOTP contents across the six fields. This behavior is also seen in PayPal. -
If you're currently experiencing the reported issue, please ensure the following steps on your PC: Verify that your browser does not have a verification code signature by re-downloading it from its legitimate source and trying again. Ensure that you are not using any VPN connection. Confirm that the Enpass application is running on your PC. Make sure the latest version of Enpass is installed on your PC. Check if the browser has been blocked from making connections to the Enpass app. To unblock the browser, open Enpass, go to Settings > Browser > Browser Authentication, and click "Review Browser." Find your browser and click "Remove."
