Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions

Since installing the new Enpass extension on the Mac (in Brave and Edge browsers) the old familiar fill password shortcut of 'CMD /' no longer works and instead this launches the extension page. In the browser shortcuts settings you can also not set 'CMD /' as a shortcut to use. This is driving me insane. Now I have to clock on Enpass to get the password data to be filled in. Is there any way to change it to how it used to be?

Hello, after update to Enpass 6.0 I' am unable to set the shortcut for autofilling. The docs says: "Go to Preferences → Extensions → Select Enpass in the sidebar → from here you can set the shortcut." https://www.enpass.io/docs/manual-desktop/browser_ext_setting.html#creating-keyboard-shortcut But there is no option at all see attached screenshot regards Martin

Hello, All our beloved users using Firefox 57 beta must be missing the Enpass extension as the Firefox has cut off the support for add-ons. There is a pre-released version of Enpass WebExtension exclusively for you available here on our website. Please note, to make the Enpass WebExtension work for you, you need to have the latest Enpass v5.6 for Windows, Linux or Mac (website version) installed on your system. The Mac users those who are using the AppStore version have to wait until the update hits the store. We'll keep you posted for that. Cheers!

Hi there, I am running into some form issues since the last update in all browsers that have the enpass extension activated. When trying to fill a form (here a form to add a subdomain in a server software called LiveConfig) I have one input and two dropdown fields. As soon as I set the focus on the input field I am no longer able to use the dropdowns. When clicking on them the focus immediately goes back to the input field. When the extension is deactivated everything is working as expected. This is also happening on Windows machines. Please provide a fix for this. Thanks!

I have a site where i need to fill in 3 fields in order to log in: 2 different ID fields and the password. The problem is I can't figure out how to do it with Enpass. When I was using Roboform it was able to handle this without a problem. Here is the site: https://www.dayforcehcm.com I need to fill in Company and User Name fields of "text" and "numeric" types respectively and also fill in the Password field. At best I was able to fill in User Name and Password. I can't fill in Company field via Enpass no matter what I tried. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Clicking on the Change link on Google docs is prevented by the Enpass extension. I think that the extension is not properly name-spaced. Please fix so that the extension does not interfere with other websites

I have notice that recently that autofill to chase bank has stopped working. Hello , I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 18.04 with the enpass app + browser chrome extension. The app works as expected but the extension is not, instead I get the attached error (unlocking cancelled). I would like to note that everything works ok on Ubuntu Mate 18.04 but not with the Ubuntu 18.04 distribution , with the same version of chrome browser (81.0.40444.122). The app's logs are: Please help, I am a paying costumer and would like to be able to use the app in the future.

Just upgraded to version 6. Now it does not autofill and auto login on Chrome. Everything was working Ok on version 5. Please can you help

I have been having this issue for some times now. When Enpass extension icon on Chrome is clicked, it flashes and nothing opens up, it works again after computer restarted then it stopped working again, sometimes closing Chrome will get extension working again. When this happened, I noticed auto save window pop up it looks big, display in low resolution and I cannot see save button. Sample picture is uploaded. I have uninstalled/reinstalled extension as well as Enpass application, uninstalled/installed Chrome without any success. This also happening after I change a new computer. Any idea how to solve this issue?

Linux Mint 18.3 Since upgrading to Enpass 6, I am unable to save a new web login. I login at the website. Enpass asks to save the login info. I click the save button, and nothing happens. The login is not saved. Please advise. Enpass 6 works OK on another machine running Linux Mint 19. I am a paying customer. Thank you.

I am new to Enpass and I like it very much. I think maybe I had misunderstood the correct way to trigger autofill. I had been double clicking the entry I want to fill and most of the time that does not work and the pop-up closes. I see now that it is probably designed for the operator to click once to select, then hit return to fill. That works without fail. I was wondering if you would consider implementing a double-click to select and trigger an auto fill? Seems to me it would be a tiny bit more convenient. Otherwise, thanks for a really nice app.

Hello, I get on my Windows 10 PC in Chrome both he registration of Enpass this error message, see attachement, please. As soon as I want to fill data in Chrome with Enpass comes the error. I have Sophos installed on the machine. I have already een a few tips on the net. You should enter 127.0.0.1 as an exclusion, then it should funktonieren. Problem is, I have not here Sophos Home with the web interface, but Sophos Endpoint Security. I just can not find the attitude. Can someone help me please?

Currently, On Safari I am not able to use the Enpass plugin. Hi, it would be good to add in the autofill feature of Enpass for Android, the support for the new Vivaldi browser (still in beta). It currently works, but websites are not recognized, I manually need to search for them in the password store.

Hello, for quite some time (1-3 months) I have a persisting issue, regardless of browser and pc. I have the latest Enpass Version (6.8.6 (1360)) installed on both systems (Win 11 Pro, 22H2, 22621.1848). One is a clean install, just fresh Windows from 2 days ago. Nothing else installed. Both Chrome and Edge show the same problem, with the extension installed from enpass.io direct links to the store pages. (V6.8.6) The problem is as follows: icloud.com autofill not working: email will be filled out, then NO more action is possible. Can't procede with ENTER, click on arrow or anything. Hi, unfortunately Opera extension stopped working with desktop app version 5.2. I´ve tried to disable security verification of the browser, I´ve tried to reinstall browser externsion, I´ve tried to reinstal Enpass desktop app as well. I have the following problem: Whenever I click the Enpass extension icon for the first time after starting Chrome (doesn't matter if Enpass is already unlocked or not), the small Enpass box is just flashing up for a few milliseconds. I have to click it for a second time to make it stay visible. After that everything is fine until I restart Chrome -> same thing again. Any suggestions?

firefox 57+ compatibility ? Did you have start doing the browser extention for firefox compatible on 57 ? On this version XUL extension will stop to work. All legacy add-ons will stop working on Firefox 57 when WebExtension will replace legacy add-ons and XUL/XPCOM support will be removed for add-ons completely. Enpass can not survive this change.

I have been observing for a few days now that copying fields from Enpass does not really put it on macOS clipboard. When I try to paste what was copied in Enpass, nothing gets pated. I use an app called "Paste" on macOS to maintain clipboard history but that is not a problem. I have tried copy-pasting with my clipboard manager app not running. This has been happening from both browser extension as well as macOS desktop app. If I reboot my mac, everything works fine until it stops working again. Anybody seeing this or know a solution to this problem? This is such a deal breaker feature and is compelling me to evaluate other password managers.

For unknown reasons I get this error sometimes asking me to start the desktop app, and the desktop app is already running, look at the photo attached, If I try a second time it will be fine

Hi, Samsung released an update to their android browser which states they have improved 3rd party autofillers. It seems bitwarden got it to work. Will Enpass further improve on autofill and Samsung internet as well?

Hi, the autofill has problems with this page when trying to login my company's resources, using Okta form Go here https://login.okta.vonage.com/ and the autocomplete doesn't work - neither for the email/username nor the password, the extension tries to submit an empty form - macOS 11.1 - Chrome: Version 87.0.4280.88 (Official Build) (x86_64) - Extension: 6.5.1 - App 6.5.2 (726) from App Store but it stopped working a while ago (older Chrome version, older OS)
