Many people use Samsung DeX, specially on tablets and in a work environment. Right now the app is not supporting this mode and people always has to turn off the Samsung DeX to login to some app or just to create a new entry on the Enpass app. Please consider this integration, it could be really helpful.

Could you please add Auto or System default mode for theme, so the app can follow theme currently set in the system? This way it will be possible to use light/dark theme automatically depending on the theme in the system itself.

I updated to the AppStore version of Enpass 6.8.0 when it became available. Everything was working fine on my iOS and Mac (latest OS versions) devices. The sync was working everywhere. But yesterday, I installed a new Mac device (M1 based / MacOS 12.3.1) and tried to connect to the central vault on my Synology WebDAV server (DSM 7.0.1). I could not connect and received credential errors (Please check your username & password). I researched this for hours and thought it might be the certificate installation on the Mac. Unfortunately it turns out, that I could fix my issue by downgrading to Enpass 6.7.4. With the old version I can connect my new Mac to the WebDAV vault without any issues. So it is a bug in 6.8.0! It is also very unfortunate, that the Enpass team makes it extra complicated to downgrade to a previous version. I had to build a download link by using the link to the current website version and then insert the version number to the old version, which you find in the release list. This is very frustrating! It's not the first time that I stumble across quality issues and it makes me wonder if there might be a point to pay more money for a more reliable password managing software from a different vendor, despite the fact, that I really like the approach technical approach the Enpass team takes. So I would really appretiate more quality assurance in the future. Automated regression testing should make it possible to get a handle on that, just saying...

There's a clear warning when there's no internet access and sync fails, a red banner at the top. But when there's a sync conflict in a vault, there's only a red spinner top left that flashes vaguely in red. In Android app it's even hidden until you use the flyout menu. If I where to get my parents to use Enpass, they would never even notice that and their vaults wouldn't be synced. I don't even understand why the user has to intervene here, and press "Merge" since there are no options. But if it's needed at least make it pop out

Dear Developer, recently i noticed some new feature idea in enpass app, i'm using enpass on android and i noticed that i have using different Desktops and PC while access password so, its so complicated for me to copy the password and paste in website and its not possible to install enpass on every desktop and in every laptop or chrome extension on every extension so can you add feature in web access on enpass that can make me access and copy my all pass word via just one QR code scanning on web so i can every time connect enpass android and iOs app via QR code or via secirity key.. and i can disconnect view feature on web via just one click and i also add search bar on android app so . i can find items like .. i want to add bank account details in enpsss so i need to type just bank on top bar and bank account details tab automatically seen in search result.. no need to go in finance and than find bank account or pan card details etc.. its more easy to add details for every user on enpsss. and try to add bottom access bar so more comfortable for every user on enpsss.. i hope you under stand this all 3 requirements and consider the suggestion as soon as possible. thanks in advance Dinesh Sitapara

Hi, is there any kind of AutoFill into Gboard similar to what Dashlane offers when running Android 11 or higher? I already asked about this quite a long while back and was told, that this feature was in development, but nothing's happened since. Best regards

I have been exploring Lineage OS and will be exploring e/os to "degoogle" my phone usage. It appears that Enpass only is available on Android with a dependence on the Google Play Store, which is contrary to the whole expectation. Has there been any thought given to providing a signed APK for Android? I know it is probably a niche market at this point, but your loyal customers could use a solution. Thanks

Syncing on Android to Nextcloud creates a 0 Byte vault file
Rainer Holland posted a topic in Android
Hello, after using enpass years flawless, my wife has the problem that under certain circumstances the vault is empty (0kb) on Nextcloud after syncing from her android (Samsung A3 2017 Android 8). The vault on the phone seems ok, but syncing from this state doesn't repair the vault on Nextcloud. After Syncing from another computer, all seems ok. Syncing from the mobile works syncing from several pc works flawless. After a few hours, the same problem occurs. The Problem happens first on syncing with WebDAV on the Nextcloud. I change to Nextcloudsync (That moves also the vault folder on the Nextcloud). Same Problem on the dedicated Nextcloud connection. Myself I have nearly the same setup I use a Samsung S10+ on Android 11 (Same EnPass version (6.7.0.552) ), same Nextcloud, different account. The problem doesn't occur on my setup. For troubleshooting, I've tried several things: 1. Disable directory of Nextcloud to the enpass folder. 2. Reset the enpass app on the mobile clear data and cache (I know the data and cache should be empty after the first step), then uninstall the app. The reinstallation of the app. Has someone a hint what I can try further or is there a real bug. Greetings Rainer -
Hi It would be really helpful if we can able create logins in browsers/app rather opening Enpass and manually creating new logins. I think 1Password, Bitwarden, Dashlane has this feature. And it would be a lot of convenient.

Hello, Using the same enpass acount, and the same OneDrive Vault account, and using the most up to date versions of Enpass installed on two devices: 1) Android; 2) windows 7 desktop; It is not syncing properly. I've been using Enpass for many years and haven't had any issues. Currently my desktop has 145 logins; I click 'sync' and all appears to be working. no error messages. Currently my android has 143 logins; I click 'sync' and the missing 2 should "appear". But they don't. The desktop does not appear to be "pushing" to the cloud the two missing logins. Any help?

Hello, is there a way to exclude or blacklist certain apps or website from either autofill or autosave popup? I did find this on the desktop app, but not on Android app. Thanks!

I recently bought Pixel 4a as a replacement for my Pixel 3a, and after restoring the content from the old phone, I encounter following issue with Enpass. I'm using biometrics (fingerprint) as a identification method, and now on Pixel 4a, after every fingerprint prompt, I also need to enter Master password. On previous Pixel 3a, the behavior is expected one, with fingerprint check, the Enpass is unlocked without password prompt. I did manage to notice, that when I enable the Biometrics option in the Settings, and authenticate myself with fingerprint, I'll get the following toast message at the bottom of the screen: "Failed to encrypt the data with the generated key error". Biometrics seems to be enabled then anyway (it's checked in Settings), but when I want to open the Enpass to get the password for any app/webpage, I need to also enter my Master password, as mentioned previously. As for a troubleshooting steps, I tried Erase everything option from Settings, as well as reinstall Enpass app. I'm currently using Enpass version 6.6.6.490 on a Pixel 4a with latest Android 11 (June 2021 security patches).

Hi I'm a lifetime subscription member in enpass. For the past week enpass has been malfunctioning with error sync repeatedly. I use enpass mostly on my mobile (android 10) & iPad pro (ipados 14). I'm repeatedly getting a sync error with onedrive and when I select the resolve option it shows that I purposely deleted the enpass file on onedrive and now I have to upload the enpass vault on my device to onedrive. But no matter how many times I do this the same error occurs after sometime. This happens on both my devices. Naturally changes I made in one device did not get synced to the other device. I will attach a few screenshots (had to enable screenshots in the app just for this) to show the error issue. I tried disconnecting onedrive account and re-added and re-authenticated onedrive again on enpass but the issue still remains. This has become a bit of a nightmare. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

Hi. I just noticed that I could not save new logins when I sign up for a new site or a new account for any site from the browser or app itself on Android. I'm a previous user of LastPass & Bitwarden for a long time and both provide the option in the form of a notification/pop up to save a new login directly where it autofills all the data. Also when I get a prompt to autofill with enpass and I go to autofill screen after pin/biometric authentication, there is no option to add a new entry (it is present in bitwarden - you can add a new entry for the site(url is added automatically) with username and generate a strong random password and this instantly shows up in the autofill screen). It only shows if there is any matching entries. If there isn't one or if we want to try others there is only the try to autofill with others option where you can choose any other entry in the vault but you cannot create a new entry. Please add this useful feature to your Android app (I haven't checked it in ios/ipados or on PC but I guess new login saving feature would be present in the PC version) so that it becomes easy to add new entries. Now if I want to create a new entry(login) I have to go to enpass app, create a new login, copy the url, and then do the rest. The previous method is more intuitive in my opinion (that's why it is present in all those other similar apps). Thank you for your time.

EDIT: Listing apps that require this feature to enable 2FA to increase priority of the feature request: SnapChat, Uber I just noticed when enabling 2FA in SnapChat on Android that it had the ability to invoke the installed 2FA apps on the Android device as part of the setup. On my tablet, that happened to be Microsoft Authenticator and Authy. Enpass has become my primary 2FA app and so I'm wondering if it is possible to have Enpass registered as a 2FA app on Android for these types of 'in-app' 2FA enablement?
