  1. Hey @Matt Miller

    Thanks for the patience.

Unfortunately, our QA team could not reproduce the issue. Please share the below details so that they can investigate it again:

    • Size of the Enpass database?
    • Whether Vault is synced to any Cloud. If yes, then which cloud?
    • Whether all 4 PCs being used are synced to the same common cloud account?
    • At which point/scenario, app is getting hanged and how frequently?

    Thanks.

  2. Hey @FormatC

    Welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately, Apple does not allow you to make any other browser your default web browser on your iPhone. Safari is tightly integrated into the Apple operating system, and cannot be changed — at least not in the current version of iOS.  However, you can use other browser by adding it to your iPhone's Dock.

    Thanks.

  3. Hey All,

    Thanks for the patience.

While investigating the problem we have found that clicking on the cross button (X) or cmd+w won't kill the app, it will just minimize it. It's the default behavior of the OS and the same is in all other native apps. You have to use the Cmd+Q button to completely close the app.

    Thanks for the co-operation.

  4. Hey @Eli

Thanks for sharing the screenshot and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

Please follow these steps and then run this command and share the logs.

    • Open Enpass --> Now click on Enpass extension icon visible on your preferred browser --> It will throw Enpass connection error.
    • Now open the terminal and then run the following command:

    lsof -i:10391

Where 10391 is the port number and if there is no output (blank), please try with other port numbers between 10391 to 10395.

    Thanks for your co-operation.

When I set up WebDAV to sync between the older iMac (old vault) and the iPhone (current vault), will syncing update the older iMac with the currrent vault

Yes, you can sync your old vault of imac to current vault of iPhone via Sync. To do so, please follow the step-

    • Open Enpass on your old imac and go to Enpass settings --> Vaults --> Select the vault(which you wish to sync with iPhone) ---> Select 'Set up Sync' and choose a cloud details to sync your database.
    • Enter your cloud details, follow the instructions and wait till the sync is done.
    • Now open Enpass on your iPhone --> Go on 'Vaults' --> Select the vault (which you wish to sync with imac) ---> Select the cloud (as in Step 1) from which you had enabled sync on your imac.
    • Once the sync is done, all your databases from imac will be restored in your iPhone.

    Thanks!

  6. Hey @Havock94 & @Whitey

Sorry for the trouble you are having.

We appreciate your patience all the while.

Our QA and dev teams confirm the issue is fixed in the latest release. Could you please update Enpass to the latest version on your system and check if the WebDAV sync works? Please let us know if you face any difficulties along with the below details-

    • On which devices and OS versions (mention all) are you using Enpass?
    • Which Enpass version are you using on each device?
    • On which device you are having this issue?
    • Please share a screenshot of the error/issue if possible?

    Thanks.

  7. Hey @sixdas @Stefan Weber

Thanks for using Enpass and writing to us.

We really appreciate you for exploring the app and giving time in finding this valuable suggestion. The suggestion has been noted and forwarded to the development team for further consideration.

Last but not least I could create an backup from the default vault, but I was not able to import that backup in a fresh created  vault vault. Did I do somethng wrong, or did I miss somethng?

Any help how to do so? My plan was to create two new vaults inside the default vault and access them seperate. The default vault would stay nearly empty in this process.

@Stefan Weber Please follow this method to restore the backup file of the vault you created and saved locally-

    • Open Enpass> Go to ‘Enpass settings’ --> Tap on 'Vaults'--> Create a new vault by clicking on '+' --> Click on ‘Local storage’ under Backup file --> Select the location and folder of file(which you saved locally) --> Click on Continue --> Enter master password (same you using previously)--> Tap on 'Continue'.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

  8. Hey @Maxsi

    Thanks for writing back.

Please follow the below steps and share the findings with us-

    1. Extract EnpassPortable v6 zip and go to "EnpassPortable_6.x.x\Windows\Program Files\VCRuntimeDlls.zip"
    2.  Now Extract contents from folder VCRuntimeDlls.zip and copy all the dlls.
    3. Paste dlls in the folder "EnpassPortable_6.x.x\Windows\Program Files\" where EnpassPortable.exe already exists.
    4. Now try running the EnpassPortable.exe

If the problem persists, please revert us back.

    Thanks.
