Hi, I had same issue with inconstant spinning wheel. When i disabled in browser extension the 'Show Inline Autofill Popup Menu' i have no more freezes. But, perhaps it's not the same issue in your case....

Try to disable the 'Show Inline Autofill Popup Menu' feature => it should work.

Hi @ng4ever Enpass app, in a way, does remind the user during autofill to store/retrieve Items from it. In case they are unsure about how to use the app, you can also share our handy user manual with them.

As I noted above, Autofill in Chrome browser (Beta) is checked.

I'm having the same problem, when I click on my broadway bank mobile app, it no longer prompts me to use enpass. I tried enabling the “Autofill using accessibility“ but all that did was open enpass and I have to look for the name of the institution and copy and paste the pw. I want to to work like before where all I did was put in my finger print and it would automatically fillin the info. I'm not sure if the android update broke this or it just stoped working my phone OnePlus 10 pro, android version 13 Thank you Monica

Recently i've changed vom 1Password to Enpass and i've discovered some disadvantages even if i think i like Enpass more over all. On 1Password there was a popup on mobile devices both apps and browsers (on screen or on later android versions over compatible keyboards) for OTP, they were not just copied to the clipboard. Why could this be a problem? If i try to fill in a copied and expired OTP with Enpass, i have to open the app, search for the login and copy the new OTP, thats really anoying. If there appears a popup, the OTP is always actual and i don't have to long press on the OTP field and tap "paste", thats way more convenient. Additional problem: If i use biometric login for PayPal app for example, i'm always asked for a code from SMS or authenticator app, in this case i have no cance to autofill, i have always to open Enpass app manually und copy OTP. Is there such an option for Enpass? Are there any plans to integrate it? Left side is alwas Enpass, right 1Password.

Hi @rorywohl Could you please confirm that you have ticked the checkbox for AUTOFILL IN CHROME BROWSER under Enpass app Settings → Autofill? If not, please do so and share your findings with me.

Hi @aaadeji For troubleshooting purposes, please try the below steps - Kindly ensure that in System settings, you have enabled Autofill for Enpass. Pathway : Settings → Passwords → Password Options → Enable Autofill Passwords and select Enpass from the list of Applications. (If the setting is already enabled, try disabling and then enabling it again) Create a manual backup/set up synchronization for your Enpass data and then reinstall the app. If the issue persists, kindly share the below details with me and I'll have this further investigated for you - The version of the Enpass app and OS you are using. The cloud service (if any) you are using to synchronize your data. The total number of Items, Vaults and attachments you have saved in your Enpass app. If this issue occurring for all the apps/webpages or any particular ones? If there are others, kindly share a few of them and I'll get them checked.

Hi @Subzero Welcome to the Enpass Forums. For troubleshooting purposes, please ensure that you are using Safari Keyboard, then turn on autofill from system Settings> password and choose Enpass. In case this setting is already enabled, try disabling and enabling it again. If the issue persists, please share the below details with me and I'll have this further investigated for you - The version of the Enpass app, OS and Edge browser you are using. Are you facing this issue on all webpages or any particular ones? Kindly share the URL of a few so we may check them.

[Although I'm not nearly as upset about it as t7m seems to be ;-) ] I am running: Enpass Version 6.8.5.758 Enpass Chrome Extension Version 6.8.0 Google Chrome/Google ChromeOS Version 108.0.5359.172 (Official Build) (64-bit) Enpass is running in the background Autofill in Chrome browser (Beta) is version 100.115.92.6:10395 Thank you!

To be clear, on Window's PC all is working as it should. Android 13 (January 4th 2023 security update) Pixel 7 Enpass 6.8.5.758 Apps that I know do not pass the password, does autofill the username. You can enable the option 'Show Items with Matching Hostnames' in your Desktop Enpass app browser settings and on your Enpass mobile device app under Settings -> Autofill. This option provides the functionality you are referring to (matching port no.) #SI-2436

Hi @BeanBagChair On some apps and websites, Autofill may not work correctly if the device’s operating system cannot identify the login fields needing to be filled. For such websites, you can also use Enpass keyboard to autofill. Otherwise, for troubleshooting purposes, please refer to the below steps - Checkout our troubleshooting guide. Take a note of your credentials of this webpage and remove the Item that you have saved in your Enpass app. Then, on the login page of this same website, enter your credentials and save as new Item. Once one, try auto-filling again on the same app, and let me know if it works for you.

I am still having the issue. The Enpass icon will appear on my keyboard but only autofill email address and not password. Apps I'm having issues with are: Reddit Amazon My Enpass Version 6.8.5.758

i've tested a little bit and found the following behavior: I have to check "automatically login after filling details" together with "automatically copy and fill one-time code after autofill". Last one i understand but why have i to check auto-login? "autofill without showing enpass assistant" is not allowed to be checked, otherwise it doesn't work anymore. (explanation later) Thats one part, the other part: I have at least at password field to click on the showing popup from enpass, if i just let it autofill without clicking on the popup, OTP isn't autofilled, just copied to clipboard. Problem with that: If Enpass autofills and logins direct after autofilling OTP, i can't check that OTP isn't asked at next login. (see second gif) 1Password is handling it better: At Login i have to click on the username, password and OTP are filled automatically, even if OTP site comes later. Even if (for example) google wants to login with security key, i cancel it and choose authenticator app, 1Password autofills OTP.

I'm using Windows 11 Pro 22H2 Build 22621.963 Enpass App version: 6.8.4 (1166) Browsers: Chrome 108.0.5359.125 with Extension 6.8.0 Opera 94.0.4606.38 with Extension 6.8.0 Edge 108.0.1462.76 with Extension 6.8.0 Firefox 108.0.2 with Extension 6.8.0 Second PC: Windows 10 Pro 21H2 Build 19044.2364 Enpass App version: 6.8.4 (1166) Browsers: Edge 108.0.1462.76 with Extension 6.8.0 Chrome 108.0.5359.125 with Extension 6.8.0 Firefox 108.0.2 with Extension 6.8.0 I've tested Amazon and Google with all browsers but same behavior on all other sites with OTP. On both Systems autofill of username and password is working fine but it doesn't autofill the OTP, copy to clipboard works fine but i have to paste it manually. With 1Password everything is working fine for me and OTPs are autofilled.

Hi @tschoepler Keyboards quick password Suggestion Autofill item was not filled on tap. I would recommend contacting Nextcloud, as they would be able to get this further investigated for you.

I use a chromebook. I cannot get the app to work in a reasonable way. The chrome extension shows ENABLE AUTOFILL SERVICE! and it is asking me for ip address and port. What on earth does that mean? I have installed the app for Chromebook, but I guess the extension and the app are not talking to each other? This is really a horrible first start. Help?

For troubleshooting purposes, create a manual backup of your Enpass data and then reinstall the app. If the issue persists, kindly elaborate more on the concern you are facing regarding autofill and link function not working on your iOS device and share the below details with me - The exact version of the Enpass app and OS you are using. Is the Enpass app freezing after a certain step, i.e, editing Item, searching etc or is it completely random? The number of Items, Vaults and attachments you have saved in your app. The cloud service (if any) you are using to synchronize your data. A screenshot of the error occurring would be helpful.

For troubleshooting purposes, please check if you have enabled the “Autofill using accessibility“ option from Enpass autofill settings in your Android device (As shown in the picture below). Hi, thank you for your reply. I know Enpass copies the OTP automatically after login. What i haven't seen before ist the option "Automatically Copy an fill OTP..." but i can only see this option in the app itself. In the firefox (and opera) browser extension settings it only says "Automatically copy OTP after autofill" (without fill). So auto-copy is working fine, but it doesn't autofill the OTP, i have to paste it manually every time.

Hi i am running Nextcloud and Enpass autofills the credentials perfectly fine BUT when I click the login button I get an error saying “please enter the password”. I found a workaround: - let Enpass autofill the credentials - and then while the cursor is still in the password field I enter any character on the keyboard (just to “touch” the input field) and delete it again right away. - hit the login button and it works fine Is this an issue with how Nextcloud checks for the input? Or is it a problem with how Enpass fills in the credentials? Funny enough it worked with ownCloud before and the two are not that different (at least in core features like the login). But probably they are. Also it works in latest safari mobile on the same device! So maybe down to an issue with Enpass and Firefox integration? another thing I realized is that when I click in the password field instead of the username field and let Enpass autofill the credentials, it only fills in the password but not the username. Weird behavior. Probably another bug to report but I thought I mention it for completeness. i can dm you a dummy account if you want to look into it. iOS 16.2 enpass 6.8.6 Firefox 108.1 nextcloud: 20.5.2

Hi, As you all know there’s an option to hide website and username suggestions on the keyboard when autofilling a login. I don’t want to hide these, so I turned the option off. However, in iOS Firefox and Edge these details remain hidden. The suggestions only show up in Safari. I’m using Firefox mainly and it would be much more convenient to choose the suggestion rather than having to open the complete list. My keyboard is the default iOS keyboard, all apps and iOS are updated to the latest version. Is this a bug or the integration into iOS is not properly done?

Hi @Langer Welcome to the Enpass Forums. Enpass allows you to automatically copy-paste the TOTP. Please ensure that you have enabled 'Automatically Copy and Fill OTP after autofill' option in Enpass Settings -> Browser -> Autofill.

Hi, i know Enpass copies the TOTP after Login, but other Password Managers also autofill the TOTP just like username and password so i don't have to insert it manually via mouse or CRTL + V Beside auto-copy of the TOTP that would be a really great and one of few missing features (in my opinion)
