Is there a way for enpass to ignore credit card number fields? At the moment it seems to override the default credit number autofill on Brave.

Hey, sometimes i have this visual bug which occurs when i'm right clicked to open the chrome extension (attachment). This solves when i move this window to another screen. And an other bug is that i the autofill after the unlock doesn't work, i click on the matching password but nothing happen.

After the latest update, the hotkey no longer autofills the username and password on any website. Instead, it opens a new tab showing the browser "Enpass Settings" page. I have tried resetting the hotkey under both "Activate the extension" and "Autofill or show Enpass" sections under the settings. Both open the "Enpass Settings" page in a new tab. Browser version: Firefox v 94.0.1 (x64) (current as of Nov 20, 2021) I've attached a screenshot of the page its opening. I don't have any global shortcuts setup.

i have enpass 6.7.4 monterey 12.0.1 MacBook m1 the file location is under documents/enpass. i would like to change the path. In the Enpass app under tools there is a path but this is not changeable. where can I set this?

Hello, I installed the latest version of Enpass (6.7.4) but the new autofill does not work. Autofill only works the old way by clicking on the extension icon in Safari. Both the app and the extension have version 6.7.4. Am I overlooking something? I am using a 2017 iMac 27" with MacOS Big Sur 11.6.1 and Safari 14.1.2

I did something really dumb when I upgraded my elderly Mac to the Catalina OS yesterday. During the migration process, a dialog box popped up saying that Enpass wanted access to my Documents folder. That sounded odd to me, so I said no. When the new OS was up and I tried to use Enpass, I got an Incorrect Password message. How do I reestablish the link between the app and the files stored in Documents? I do not use iCloud, and my Enpass version is 6.3.1(581). Thanks

When the option "Open Automatically at System Startup" is selected, the app doesn't startup properly. The app starts and the login window opens and switched to "hidden". You need to manually select the app from the task bar to show the login window. This is different behaviour to Intel-powered Macs where the window stays open and not hidden so the master password can be entered. Is anyone else seeing this?

I would like to move the primary vault that is now located in iCloud. I will either just use my desktop or use Dropbox. Whichever way I proceed, I would like to remove it from iCloud.

I’m looking for guidance on what is the best means to use Enpass most efficiently. I have safari passwords, google passwords and can export those to CSv and import into Enpass. are users solely using Enpass and disabling safari and / or chrome? any basic guidance is appreciated. i have Enpass premium..

I am currently setting up a new Mac laptop with the Enpass app. My current account is a "Lite"'/free account. Is there any way I can migrate my data from the older Mac to the newer Mac if using the "Lite" version? If so, how? Thanks!

Hello there, I checked the other topics about this problem but it doesn't helped. I stritcly followed you instruction but at the very end enpass say : no PIF file present in the selected directory. Of course the 1pif file is inside this directory (i tryed to put in on the desktop and on a directory on the desktop) i use 1password version 7.7 and enpass version 6.6.3 Thanx for any help

I recently purchased enpass premium and after that it keeps asking for dropbox sync validation everytime I exit Enpass or shut down my mac. It should just ask me the master password and not the whole process to setup. It looks like it acts as a fresh install and it looses all information of past vault already sync with dropbox. Why is this happening?

Hello, I encounter this problem: When I want to check the compromised PWs on my secondary vault, it works fine. But on my primary vault I get the message „no internet connection, try again”. At the same I use the internet, so the IS a connection. Where is the error? iMac 2019 on Mojave, latest Enpass version. Thx for hints. Update: After the 3rd attempt, it did work. Still strange why it needed 3 attempts ...

Hi, after enpass' last update I don't see the button on the left side of the browser no more. Chrome and Firefox are fine. But in Safari it's gone. Extension is activated in Safari's preferences. Any ideas? Thanks!

Just updated to Enpass v6.7.2 (886) from Mac App Store Enpass is set to Open Automatically at System Startup and now I'm getting this message (attached pic) everytime I start my Mac Setting Enpass in 'Choose Application' starts Enpass, but only for the current session Suggestions?

Hello all, my main vault is on my iMac (sync server) and my handheld devices sync well with this vault. But how can I tell Enpass on my MacBook Pro not to „open” it's own syncserver, but to connect to the iMac's sync server and sync with it? Both on Mojave. Hi. I've used Enpass very happily for a few years and have upgraded to Premium. I recently bought a new Mac Mini M1 (running Big Sur 11.2.1) and a very strange cosmetic issue has started to occur frequently only with Enpass. Part of the main window becomes transparent (and therefore difficult to read) - see the attached screenshot where you can see my desktop through parts of the Enpass window. If I quit and relaunch it's fine agin - but only for a while. Any suggestions as to what this might be? Thanks.

First, here's my HOORAY for Wifi-Sync (at last)! Works like a charm. My question: I have two residences in different cities, of course with different WiFi-networks. Can I set up WiFi-syncing in a way that it syncs in the other network, too? I ask because I do not want to just try, to not mix anything up. Thank you for an answer. Btw, I promote Enpass a lot, esp. because of the new feature. it would help, if you would update your website, resp. provide documentation for Wifi-Sync. Best regards Robert

Hello, When I bought and installed Enpass, I configured a vault with a random master password (dont ask me why). While I need it to be synchronized on the cloud to work with my phone as well, I can't find a way to restart from a fresh install: When launching Enpass, it instantly asks me for the master password. I cannot find anyway of creating or syncing from another vault. Tried looking at the FAQs, it requires to have the master password to delete the actual vault.. Hello, Can we use Enpass Portable as a backup if the Enpass Desktop have any issue to open ? I mean working with both if necessary ? What do we need to do ? Do we need to sync Enpass Desktop and Portable databases ? Thanks for your opinions.

First of all I'm super happy about the local wifi sync feature finally being added to Enpass. Unfortunately, after I wanted to start the Wi-Fi-Sync-Server (Preferences -> Wi-Fi-Sync), it instead tells me "Error: Wi-Fi-Server crashed". I'm running Enpass 6.7.0 (876) on a MacBook Pro (Mid 2012) under macOS Catalina 10.15.6 with currently no FireWall activated. Other apps as PDF Expert are able to host a server on my mac for iOS transfer, so it shouldn't be a general issue. Thanks a lot in advance for your help! Cheers, Phil

I'm trying to move from 1Password to Enpass Mac. I get this is not a program written just for Mac, but there are basics it must meet in the Mac UI. 1. Remember Window Placement And Size On Launch w/ Multi Monitors - right now EVERY time I launch Enpass & the system is set to have it display on Display 2, it displays on the main display regardless of the Mission Control Dock Options setting. It's ignoring the system settings for window placement via Options on the dock. Every other Mac program sees & uses these settings; Enpass does not. 2. Hi I am a Mac user (OS 10,13), with an Android phone. I just bought an Enpass license, and imported my database from 1Password. I am having problems in opening attachments (all of them in pdf format). I go to the Item, find the attachment, put the mouse cursor over the three little dots at the right but only the "Download" option appears. If I download the item to desktop, I cam't open the downloaded PDF file because it says it is a "damaged file". Any idea? thank you very much!!!

Hi, I did a scratch load of Big Bur on my MBP then used the Migration assistant to copy all accounts, settings, data from my external disk. However, after starting Enpass I found that my local vault is empty and Enpass wanted me to start the setup process by creating a master password. On my local drive I see Enpass in my documents folder. The icon has a small circle in it. there is are sub-folder Backup and Vaults, but both are empty. Is the vault kept somewhere else? And how do I get it back? I have 2 complete CCC backups on 2 external disks, thus, the vault was saved before I did the scratch load of the OS. Can anybody point me into the right d…
