I have an iMac, a MacBook and an iPhone and use Enpass on all of them. Usually at home, I work at the iMac, the MacBook being turned off. On the go, I use the MacBook. What I wish for is a set up, where I can sync over the Wi-Fi between iPhone and iMac - or between iPhone and iMac. As for iMac and MacBook, usually one of these is not available. The iPhone is always charged, turned on, and available. How can I set up a sync between these devices? At home, I use the iMac and want to sync to the iPhone. Hi Enpass team, I run MacOS BigSur 11.6.5 and ever since recently auto-upgrading to Enpass 6.8.0 my Mac regularly crashes due to Enpass when opening after sleep. Update from Mac AppStore

I am not yet an Enpass user, but it might be in my future. 1Password 8 only export format is currently 1PUX, with intentions to move to an encrypted 1PEX. Does Enpass expect to support importing from these in the future? Thanks

It's absolutely painful. Enpass keeps failing to connect when I click its Chrome icon or the desktop menubar icon. Then, when I try to open the Enpass application, It freezes (beach ball). The only way to temporarily "fix" the problem is to use Activity Monitor to force-quit the frozen Enpass process. Then, I have to reconnect Enpass to the Chrome browser. It works for a login or two, but it freezes again. Can't take this anymore. I paid in advance for a year, so please resolve this issue ASAP! macOS Monterey 12.1 Chrome 100.0.4896.88

I opened Enpass assistant and went over to and did cmd+c on my user name and password but it does not look like its copying them. This is completely deal breaker for me as I often copy fields. I know about the cmd+shift+U shortcut, its longer and you need two hands to do it, also there are other fields I would like to copy that does not have a dedicated shortcut. The whole assistant app is clunky and needs some fixing:- 1) I didn't find the docking shortcut cmd+shift+D in the shortcuts page and had to hunt for it myself. so I have encase on my iPad and my iPhone and my Mac desktop all are connected to the cloud..my question is about the key chain on my Mac thats also connected to the cloud .I have several passwords in the keychain ,do I have to go through and copy them all ? seems tedious..do I turn keychain off and start from scratch with enpass? I also have several websites that have just a click here to log in to this account / example my gmail . how do I begin the process of using this ? Thanks

Sorry but your newest Enpass version 6.8.0 for MacOS & iOS is a complete disaster. WebDAV synchronization is not available anymore. I wasted a lot of time before I recognized that your app is responsible for that issue. I could go back to version 6.7.4 on MacOS (whre it works) but no chance in iOS. Do you not test your software before releasing? When do you plan a patch for it?

Hi all Every time I launch Enpass on my Mac it behaves as if it expects me to set it up again, 'select where you already have or want to keep your data' and a window showing various options as to locating the Enpass database. Further it prompts me to 'activate Enpass' which if I make the mistake of clicking will prompt getting a six digit code. At the very least I have to tell Enpass that my data is on on iCloud which prompts a series of browser window logins and clickthroughs before it launches my database and prompts me for the password or PIN. Hello, if I try to edit a field name and when the field name pop-up window is above the header of enpass, I can't do mouse action in the field. The mouse grab the whole enpass window and move it instead of select the text in the field. The mouse pointer act like it is below the pop-up window. You can see in the first attached screenshot. Firefox 99.0.1 (64-bit) on MacOS Monterey 12.2 (21D49) While trying to fill in the credit card infos the browser hangs up because there are zillions invisible clicks on the input fields (for the expiration date) by Enpass. Apple, iMac, Big Sur 11.2.1 For a few days now, I've been noticing that Enpass seems to have a display problem: When I move the Enpass window from one screen to another, the window becomes "transparent". Most of the time it stays like that until I restart Enpass, sometimes it restores itself after a few moves. Does anyone have similar observations? Does anyone know advice? New user here. Loving what I'm seeing. But I am not seeing the Safari Extension autofilling in any circumstance. If I click the extension itself the info appears and if I then choose the one I want it then fills the relevant fields just fine. But if I, for example, click on a login name field nothing pops up. In the extensions settings I have all the autofill options checked. macOS v12.3.1 / Safari v15.4 / Enpass v6.7.4 Surely I'me doing something wrong?

Hello, I recognized that I can type foreign characters at the Master Password Field, such as Korean or Japanese characters. In the password field, as far as I know, foreign characters are not allowed and these kind of keyboards should work as an english keyboard. It is really cumbersome that I should change the language every time I need, at least I need an option. Hi guys, I have a MacBook Pro with Touch ID and I use TouchID for Enpass. On my Desk I use an external keyboard without TouchID. Please is there a way to use PIN instead of Password if TouchID is not available? Thanks in advance.

Hello, Ever since updating to MacOS Monterey, whenever Enpass is quit, it resets all local data. At that point, I have to go through the process to connect it to my backup, and authenticate with email again, as well as authorise any browser extensions. There's also an issue where my master password is not recognised, even though I have put it in correctly, no matter how hard I try. On this second issue, however, I have yet to figure out a proper root cause (seems to be when I try to autofill a password and I have to put in the master password in the browser pop-up) Can you please assist with this?

Hello, I’m using Enpass on my M1 iMac (beside iPhone and iPad Pro). But I’m wondering, why it’s necessary to enter Master Password instead of using Touch ID after app restart or rebooting my Mac? This behavior is not on iOS/iPadOS but on macOS Also I think, this was not on an older version of Enpass… can we have this option back please, to always use TouchID? Thanks and kind regards René

When I create a custom field, on a login password, it doesn't autofill on the form.. I believe this should happen automatically. Recently I discovered the Webform which when I save the credentials for the first time, it creates a separate mapping form to autofill custom fields. is there any effortless way to do it other than on browser when form is being saved? like edit the login and add this mapping? Ideally it should take label of custom field and map directly to label in the form we are filling. Why there is an additional step to map the login entry fields to form field?

I am 24/7 enpass user and while reading white paper one enpass today i found out about key file to make my database more secure as keyfile works as 2FA for database. First i created a database with keyfile and copied my primary vault data to the new vault. Then i connected my new vault to webdav on icedrive.net after syncing everything to my cloud storage i wanted to remove primary vault and keep using the new vault with keyfile. Last day i received update on my mac 12.2 and after installing update my chrome extension stopped working even though it is working on safari. I had this issue before on windows so i thought like windows reinstalling it will resolve the issue but it did not. then i removed enpass and restarted my mac and then installed everything again but nothing changed. Anyone else have this issue and anyone know how to resolve it?

I am switching from 1Password to Enpass on all my devices (because you can buy it without subscription and you can save vault to your own server - both great features) I was able to import my 1Password vault (completely, AFAIK) so that's also impressive. However, searching for an item is absurdly slow, taking several seconds to search about 900 items. Such a search should be pretty much instantaneous these days. Anyone know why it's so slow and/or whether it can be improved?

Hi When I use Enpass on my iPhone and I open an App Enpass is available there as well. That's very easy to use. On my Mac it is different. If I open e..g. the iCloud settings then the system asks for the iCloud Account name and the password. But Enpass is not available there (using right click or whatever). I always have to copy the data from the menu bar icon. Is there a possibility to have Enpass in such situations as well?

Using Enpass to enter credentials at personalsavings.americanexpress.com fails every time. But if I copy-paste the password from Enpass into the password field, it works just fine. Tested in Brave, Chrome, Firefox, Safari from Enpass Beta 6.7.4 (951) on macOS 11.6.1.

Hi, There's a problem that I can't use handoff on my MacOS, like copying on Mac and paste on my iPhone since my system is Big Sur, it still exists when I'm using Monterey 12.3, MacBook Pro 13' 2018. However, if I copy on my iPhone or iPad, text can be pasted to any other iOS, iPadOS and MacOS devices. So I'm wondering if it's just my problem or the software issue. I remember this handoff feature on MacOS was still available in 2019. If it's the software's security settings, hope I can choose to open handoff or not in next version. If it's my problem, pls tell me how to fix this issue, thanks.

I noticed that when hitting the space bar after a punctuation mark, Enpass doesn't register the space; in order to get a space after a punctuation mark, one has to hit the space bar not one but two times. Is this intended behaviour or just a bug? Anyway, I know of no other application with a similar behaviour.
