  1. Hello @SvenS@randomguy,

We are aware of the concern of setting new a shortcut & getting accustomed to it, but for a deep robust browser and Enpass Extension integration in the long term, Enpass extension lets the browsers control the keyboard shortcuts natively. Also, this way Enpass Extension doesn't interfere with a browser’s default shortcuts. For example, users can use "ctrl+key" or "alt+key" to activate the extension or to autofill (as shown in the picture below).

  2. Hello @Tobl,

    Welcome to the Enpass Forum.

Thank you for reporting the presence of this issue. To assist you better, please help me with the following details:

    1. Share the details of the Enpass version (using store or website version) and OS information.
    2. Are you using a multi-screen setup?
    3. Just to clear it, when you open the extension on Chrome, does it look the same (red screen) as shown in the given picture?
    4. Does the autofill issue occur on a specific website? It would be so helpful if you could share a short video?
  3. Hi @JeffB,

We completely understand your concern, as of now Enpass Android app is only available on the PlayStore platform. Also, we would like to inform you that an APK is never recommended by us as it is not safe & can have many bugs, causing serious spam concerns. However, I have shared your request with the concerned team for further consideration. Your patience is highly appreciated here.

  4. Hello @davidmarusek,

    Welcome to the Enpass Forum.

It seems like there are some issues with the existing database file. We should restore a working version from backup to restore your data. Perform the following steps on your MAC:

    1. Quit Enpass(if Open) using Command+Q.
    2. Depending on the OS, go to following Path in your System:
      /Users/$Username$/Library/Containers/Enpass/Data/Documents/
      OR
      /Users/$Username$/Library/Containers/in.sinew.Enpass-Desktop/Data/Documents/
[Note: You might see multiple folders named Enpass here, please check in all such folders where you may find the Folder named Vaults. Also, Enable View hidden contents in Finder.]
    3. Here you will see a folder named Vault. Rename this folder. Let say to “XYZ”.
    4. Now launch Enpass Application. It will launch from Welcome Screen.
    5. Select Previous Backups Option
    6. Now Restore the latest Backup by providing your Master password.
    7. You should be able to restore Enpass from the last backup state now.

Let me know if that works.

  5. Hello @aa11,

In order to further investigate, please follow the below suggestions and do reply to the outcomes:

    1. I would like to share that we checked it on our end and found that the store version is working fine so I would suggest you to share the error message (if there is any) or reinstall the app.
    2. Yes, you can install our website version from here for the error logs. If you find similar behavior on our website version, you can find the logs option in the Enpass Advanced settings -> Logs (as shown in the picture below). Share them either here or on support@enpass.io.
    3. No functionality will be lost if you install the website version, both Enpass versions are similar with a few differences like database location and availability of error logs.

  6. Hello @Andreas M.,

Thank you for sharing the results. For further investigation, please share the following details:

    1. Help me with the Enpass version (Downloaded from Store or Website) and OS information.
    2. If possible, please share the demo account credentials of your WebDAV along with the URL. (For security reasons, share the account details in the personal message or share them over support@enpass.io).
    3. Make sure the date & time must be the same on all the devices.
  7. Hello @voyager,

Thank you for reporting the presence of this issue about not being able to sync with DropBox. It seems like the Enpass data on DropBox has some issues and there could be many reasons behind this. I would suggest you perform the following steps and let me know the results.

    1. Make sure you have a manual backup of your data on your devices.
    2. Disconnect the DropBox sync from all your devices.
    3. Open DropBox app or in the browser → Open Enpass folder → Select vault.enpassdbsync file → Rename it as oldvault.enpassbdsync.
    4. Reconnect Windows first and if that synced perfectly sync other devices.
    5. If sync starts to work fine, you can delete the renamed old backup file from Dropbox.

  9. Hello @Heynowjerry,

    Welcome to the Enpass Forum.

are users solely using Enpass and disabling safari and / or chrome?

Yes, you can solely Enpass extension on your browser to save, update, and autofill your passwords. Enpass is basically an offline password manager and it does not store user's saved data on servers as all your data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it. So, there is no fear of getting your data leaked. Also, for more details on the Enpass extension, I would suggest you to visit this FAQ.

  10. Hello @Syd,

I certainly understand your concern about the Touch ID on Enpass. I would suggest you to verify if the Touch ID is working normally on the other apps (on your MacBook M1). Otherwise, for a quick troubleshooting, remove your Touch ID from Mac settings and add a new one. Also, enable it from the Enpass settings. let me know if that works.
