Hi @Pam Phillips, Welcome to the forums! Enpass is an offline app that saves all your data locally on the device. If you have downloaded and installed from our website (for Windows/Mac/Linux), your data will remain in the Documents you can rename the folder or delete it and restore your data in Enpass.

Credit cards - will Enpass autofill ?

With Enpass, you don’t need to manually copy and paste your details in the apps and browsers as it can securely autofill the login and credit card details in apps and supported browsers. iOS move items between vaults
Hi @gmill99, We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. If you are using Enpass pro/premium version, you can have multiple vaults and move the items between them. Please let us know are you able to create a new vault on your iPad.

Hi @Michel.Schnabel, Thanks for writing back in. No, we don’t have any permission or access to any of our user’s data. Every single Enpass user is anonymous to us. All your database is saved locally only on the device, not on any server. And the database stored in Enpass is always encrypted by the Master password, and can only be accessed by you. So there is no way left for anyone to access your data. To check for the backup file please follow the below mentioned steps: I. App downloaded from Mac App store: data documents backups Quit Enpass (If running). Go to User --> Library Folder--> Containers --> in.sinew.Enpass-Desktop --> data --> documents --> backups. NOTE: Usually Library folder is hidden, so make it visible by pressing and holding the Option key. II. App downloaded from Enpass website: Quit Enpass (If running). Go to User Documents --> Enpass folder. Hope this helps!

Enpass on my Mac lost the connection to iCloud Drive
Hi @truehumandesign, Thanks for sharing the details. Please follow the below-mentioned steps and revert to us if the issue persists: Take the backup of Enpass data manually on both the devices. Now open Enpass on your MAc device and disconnect the sync from iCloud--> While disconnecting sync from Enpass, you will have the option " Also, delete data from iCloud" Enable it and click on Disconnect button. Set up sync on the devices.

Portable 6.4
Hi @DELABRIERE, Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Enpass version 6 doesn't have the file extension walletx.db instead it is vault.enpassdb. File name walletx.db was for the older version of Enpass. To restore data in Portable from your Desktop, you can manually take the backup of whole Enpass data from File under ≡ menu from Toolbar → Backup All Vaults → Select file location → Save. Now restore the saved backup file in Portable and let us know if the issue persists. If you choose to save the database in USB, then you can access the data through the same USB on any device.

Dark theme in Classic mode
Hi @Ivarson, Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Dark mode in the classic theme is highly unusable and have issues that can't be fixed. We never provided dark mode support for the classic theme in the past but it can be enabled in some cases due to an existing bug (Enable dark mode in Modern and switch to Classic). Keyword after adding one new fingerprint

Sorry to inform you that there is no way to access your data without your master password and if you have forgotten your password, all your data is lost. If you are able to access all your data on any other device then only we can help you to restore the data. To use Enpass again, you need to reset it on your device and start new database afresh.
