Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions

Hi all, I use Enpass with Autofill on the iPhone. For some websites like Outlook or Amazon I have multiple accounts / login data stored in Enpass. (1) Is there any way to tell Enpass, which one should be autofilled? (2) In the “longlist” (the menu you see in a first step) that is shown when multiple accounts are stored for a particular website I don’t see all of those stored accounts. For some I need to go even one step further in the process chain and open Enpass itself to select the right account. How can I tell Enpass which to show - and which not? Thanks in advance!

On Linux, when the browser extension opens Enpass assistant dialog, it sets the xwindow property _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_NORMAL It should instead set the property _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_DIALOG Why does this matter? Many Linux window managers treat dialog windows differently from normal windows. If the dialog property is not set, the window manager can tile the window and move it away from under the cursor, which can cause the password dialog to instantly close as it loses focus. This happens at least on Xorg, I haven't tested it on Wayland yet.

This site ( https://mma.sinopac.com/MemberPortal/Member/NextWebLogin.aspx ) does not fill the fields correctly when using the autofill function, the webform is saved and the corresponding fields are set. The autofill only fill the two fields.

The hoster Allinkl displays multiple fields to different areas on its login page (https://all-inkl.com/login/). In Enpass for desktop I've made for every area it's own entry. Unfortunately, Enpass' autofill function fills the data fields for the WebMail area regardless of the field in focus (with blinking cursor).

Enpass won't fill in login credentials for https://www.barnesandnoble.com. Seems to have a problem with a login frame. I can open the login frame in a new tab, and Enpass will populate the login credentials. Enpass Firefox extension 6.4.0.

Hello, I was wondering if there is some way to have enpass autofill security question answers in the browser, perhaps by recognizing the security question text? Is this something that is possible? For example, after you login to a website it asks you something like "What is the name of your first pet?" If not, is there a chance this could be implemented? Thank you.

Window 10 Pro 1909 - Enpass 6.4.2 (669) Google Chrome 84.041 & Firefox 78.02 (Both 64Bit) Enpass forgets to enter the password for entries to Outlook.live.com and Onedrive.live.com. The passwords are correctly stored in Enpass (for each entry and site) but if I double-click on the entry in the browser extension the e-mail is entered but not the password. If, at the password screen, I double-click the entry again, Enpass enters nothing into the web page. I must manually copy and paste the password from Enpass into the website. It will on occasion work correctly but is erratic. Other sites with similar two page logins, such as Google, operate correctly.…

Hello, I would like to file this issue. The Xiaomi Mint is a very lightweight and fast browser. I especially like the build in reading function on my handheld device. It would be nice to have the possibility to use Enpass with it. I already tried to stop the autofilling service and reenable it, but this does not work. Any idea? I´m running the official Version of Edge (Chromium), no Pre Releases! The Browser Extension of Enpass is installed into Edge with access. When i am on, lets say, Amazon, and the page is asking for my login credentials there is not auto fill. Instead i need to right click to choose Enpass within the Menu and from there i have to choose the Login Data from Amazon. To be honest, this is quite cumbersome. The question now... Why is there no (whatever login page) Auto Fill?

Hi there! At some point I realized that I like the Iphones Face ID feature for entering passwords from Enpass so much; and Enpass didnt have this feature for desktop. So I implemented it in python with opencv and face recognition. If anyone is interested you can find the code in Github Repo, also the manual is there. I am using this solution by myself just for the ease of it. Everything is done locally on your PC, but just be careful, its not 100% save to use it at workspace or so on, but would do a job on your home pc/laptop. Enjoy!

I´ve seen a Topic asking this Question already but it´s a Year ago now. Well. I also would like to know if it is maybe possible now to have an option (Hotkey etc.) to fill Windows Apps like "Steam" or similiar?

Hello, The version 6.0.2 of the Enpass Extension for Chromium does not work with the actual version of the Brave Browser on OSX (Version 0.65.121 Chromium: 75.0.3770.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)). After activating, it shows up with a large red space in the background and seems not to respond to any user interactions (visible response). Looks to me as if the extension cannot handle high resolution displays, but i could be wrong. Does anyone know how to fix this? Does someone else have the same problem?

This used to work fine with LastPassin IOS, then stopped with version 13. credit card info does work on android with Lastpass. so will Enpass work with IOS 13 & Androi 10 ?

Linux Mint 18.3 Since upgrading to Enpass 6, I am unable to save a new web login. I login at the website. Enpass asks to save the login info. I click the save button, and nothing happens. The login is not saved. Please advise. Enpass 6 works OK on another machine running Linux Mint 19. I am a paying customer. Thank you.

Hi I have a problem since few days. I have Windows 10 and two browser Chrome and FireFox. When I start OS or it not use for some time (ex. 2h) and I want to login to new website and add login info in Enpass but window extention doesn't appear. So what I did. I cleared all cache i browsers, ulocked Enpass application, logged on new website, window externtion didn't appear. So I clicked extention icon in browser and after that window appeared. Some could explain to me what's going on??

Hi, For the last 2 days, the extension on Chrome is unusable (see attachment); I’m running Enpass 6.4.1 (642) on a Mac, using chrome 81.0.4044.129 (Build officiel) en the Enpass extension 6.4.0 I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, restarting chrome, nothing changes How can this be fixed? I am using enpass on desktop with firefox. In enpass, I have 2 entries: domain.de/typo3/index.php (1) domain.de/typo3/install.php (2) I open domain.de/typo3/index.php, press the shortcut for enpass. Expected behaviour: entry (1) gets filled in Current behaviour: Enpass opens a popup and lets me manually choose between the two entries. Is there a way to configure enpass to show the exprected behaviour?

Hi, I'm new to Enpass and I'm already confused The browser extension, which I call by hot key isn't saving its position on screen. Almost every time it appears somewhere on screen where I haven't had it before. Known issue? Bug? My fault? macOS 10.14.6 Enpass & Extension 6.4.1 Regards

i didn't realize just how much i generate passwords until now but I think whenever yall integrated the "new" auto generate password on copy / clipboard feature is insane. absolute silly. horrible idea. CTRL + G Click "copy" button Horrible Bell & Whistle -- New password on click??? No reason. It doesn't even make any sense. What the hell does the Reload (or refresh) Icon even do? What is that icon to the right of it? How does any of that differ from the COPY button? Can I disable this useless feature?

I can't figure out how to use the system wide hotkey. In the preferences window I read that this hotkey (for example smd-alt-#) lets enpass appear, whenever I press it. But doesn't. Nothing happens. I also don’t understand how I can activate enpass in my browser (Safari or Vivaldi). There is the hotkey I can define, but it has no effect. Is there a general problem with Catalina? With Windows all works without any problem. And I beliebe, 1Password can do it also. But don’t want to return to 1Password...
