Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions

Issue#1 hello. I am trying to setup enpass as I come from 1password, I purchased a license. I am trying to setup the autofil shortcut to " cmd+\ " which is the default for 1password. I setup enpass as my default password manager on firefox(not sure what this do). Its not working. I went into the extension settings (image bellow) I type in cmd+\ in the field "Autofill or Show Enpass" it says invalid combination. actually what I see is cmd+K for some reason. also how can i setup cmd+\ for safari? 1password has this working for everything all you need to do is install the 1password extension and thats it. Also all other password managers have their extension…

some websites use a method that Autofill extension doesn't work, or maybe just work for some fields, not all. what shall I do to fill all fields?

Can you please remove the huge suggestion dropdown for Enpass extension? It's super annoying and it's constantly blocking other inputs. In Figma I got this I clicked on the who can see the file dropdown, and because the input is focused the huge and intrusive popup came in my way and I had to disable the Chrome extension. I really liked the way it behaved before.

It's not the first time that I find something not working on some website, only to find out that nothing is broken, it's just not working for me because of the Enpass extension. I am a new Enpass user, so please be kind Coming from 1P I was used to get a popup when registering on a new site if I want to add this to the vault. Enpass is not doing this. Is this normal? After I registered here I tried to change the password and saw a dropdown with the option to "add to enpass" (see screenshot) But if I click it, nothing happens, nothing is added. Is this a bug? Monterey 12.1 and latest Firefox.

I am trying Enpass for the first time. I attempted to install in Opera (Mac OS 10.14) and it goes through the motions of installing, but the extension does not show in the extensions manager or the menu bar.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen After updating to version 6.7.0 the enpass extension button doesn't work anymore. Installing version 6.6.0 from file solved the problem. Version 6.7.0 should be corrected. Kind regards Peter

The new autofill box is fast and convenient but there needs to be a way to switch vaults. You can press the ">>" button and go to the older interface and switch vaults but thats more additional effort which could be switched with "CTRL + 1/2" from the keyboard like the older interface had. Also the icons need some labels.

Running Ubuntu 20 LTS using Chrome or Brave, I cannot see everything so cannot use the extension in the browser. See screenshots. It's not possible to zoom in/out using the normal browser controls. Can anyone help?

I noticed that someone posted an earlier issue about autofilling cpanel logins and it was fixed. That part is working for me but the app still isn't autofilling cpanel webmail page logins. I tested on both chrome and firefox using the latest versions as well as both the windows 10 and legacy windows versions of enpass.

I've just tried to autofill a credit card form on www.decathlon.it and it fills only the credit card number leaving empty all the other fields (CVC, expiry date, name...). Is this a known thing? Thanks a lot

The Autofill popup menu as described in ( https://www.enpass.io/docs/manual-desktop/browser_ext_using.html#using-autofill-popup-menu ) is not showing on any websites when I click in the username/password fields. I run Windows 10 and have the Chrome Extension installed. These are my Browser settings for Enpass (see screenshot). Any ideas why this might not be working? I also tried with Edge Browser Extension, but the autofill popup still wouldn't show.

Inline Autofill Popup Menu blocklist needs to allow domain blocking. so lets say I need to disable inline autofill for a site. I can type in http://192.168.0.1/* instead of http://192.168.0.1/a2b3f421_nodered/dashboard http://192.168.0.1/core_configurator/dashboard http://192.168.0.1/visual_code/dashboard etc... because the inline editor is causing issues with some sites such as node red. When the browser extension is activated focus on input fields is forced. When I scroll or want to select different fields, It will always focus on the selected input field. Does someone has the same experience?

Actually, I recognized that the icon for the Enpass extension in Vivaldi is gray only. For me, it's a little confusing not to see if the browser extension is locked or unlocked. Maybe it would be possible to turn the icon into blue if the extension is unlocked already? This would be a great improvement.

I have a website where I have to use a password which consists of 4 numbers and the 2fa code. Actually I'm using the shortcut to fill in the password and pressing "ctrl+v" to copy the 2fa code directly behind the password. Is it possible to automatically fill in the 2fa code directly behind the password? I couldn't find a setting for this behavior.

After a recent Enpass update, I started getting this when signing into sites in my browser. Is there any way that I can make it less intrusive or smaller?

Recently a site would not accept an Enpass generated password without a special character; @ # $ etc. How can I add one to a generated password? Thanks, microbeman

When I click on the Enpass browser extension icon I now get an error page saying 403 error. See attached screenshot. This used to just open a small version of Enpass. Using Brave Browser on Windows. Thanks Alan

Just a quick post (first in a long time...) to congratulate the team on the new Inline Autofill Popup Menu, a great feature enhancement! It makes the use of Enpass (which I promote to my friends, family and students regularly) even better. ...Now if I could just unlock my Enpass with my FIDO keys.

Hi Forum, I've been using Enpass for quite a while now and I'm absolutely a fan of it. Recently I joined the website bitvavo. bitvavo is a crypto currency site, so 2FA is a must. The problem on this site is that the login form asks for username, password and TOTP in 1 form. Enpass is only filling username and password resulting in an error. If I first copy/paste the TOTP it works ok, but of course it would be nice not needing to do that. Thanks for looking into this!

I have last version for MacOS, Chrome for it and Enpass. The new browser extensions (the first with autofill inside webpages) does not work often and brakes most of dialog box with standard text boxes.For example if you try creation of a chat using google chat, the Extension appears into the users list and does not permits at all insertion of new users. Simply the dialog appears and suddenly disappears. Disabled extension solved the problem. Look forward a new update with bug fixed..
