Hi, since a few weeks I have this issue that enpass shows up multiple times in the dock on startup of my mac. It doesn't happen always, but often. Sometimes "only" 2 instances, sometimes many (see attached screenshot). This happens before I start any other application. I'm on macOS Monterey 12.3.1. enpass 6.7.4 (938) from the app store enpass is set to automatically run on startup in the settings. edit: I don't know if this makes a difference, but I'm on a multi monitor setup. It's not a critical error as I can simply click on one of the instances after the other and close it, and still everything works as expected. Still annoying though.

The app crashes once and a while and when it does it, it's not just terminating and gone but constantly crashing and restarting. Not sure what happens but I can see the main window "flicker" wildly until I forcefully terminate the app with the Activity Monitor. So I am not able to send a crash report or something. Not sure if I am the only one with this problem, but it started after updating to the lastest MacOS.

A recent change in the MacOS and iOS app now makes impossible to share items unless they are encrypted with a pre-shared key. This means that now we can only share passwords with other users who are using Enpass. If they are using other password managers as is usually the case we can't share items with them anymore. A common scenario is the sharing of an account to another coworker via Signal - we do that often since Signal is encrypted and super-secure. But no... now we can't do that anymore as we can't share the clear-text version of the account anymore. And no - I can't just copy/paste the password as there's often multiple entries and notes that go along with the logi…

To replicate, you must have an icloud account that uses hardware key as 2FA. The following is the expected behavior Open browser and go to https://icloud.com. Log into your Apple account. The site will prompt you to press the button on the hardware key and also prompt you for the hardware key's PIN. User enter the PIN and the browser logs you into the apple account. However, if the enpass extension is installed, step 3 does not prompt for the pin and there is a spinning progress circle that never goes away. Hello, Many years ago, I installed Enpass on my mac. Afterwards, I stopped using it. I think it was on version 5 or maybe earlier. And probably made from another hard drive or another mac, not this one. Today, after a clean install, I saw this on my iCloud account (files) I tried to install, again, Enpass, create an account using my iCloud account, and then, as other thread suggested, deleting it activating the option "Also delete data from iCloud". Hello, I'm on macOS with current Enpass. When I use the Global Hotkey for the Assistant, the Search Field has Focus for a mili Second, then looses it. Means I can't start typing to search. Can this be fixed somehow? Makes it hard to quickly copy a Password without using the Mouse. Regards, Bastian

Hi, I have problem with wifi sync of my vault. I have Mac Catalina 10.15.7, Enpass version 6.11.2 I click to start server, click to vault and qr code is created, but when i scan it, it wrote no vault. Also the manual sync information are not usefull because the varification code is different. I also see that the server has no port. The Enpass wrote in corner: Synchronization faild - Target folder for synchronization is not reachable. It did work before. I did not install anything new, just system updates. I check firewall, access to the disk or folders. I dont have the wifiyncserver_bin in mac firewall, only Enpass …

Since I've updated my Macbook to Mac OS 15 Sequoia developer beta 1 the Enpass extension doesn't work anymore in both Safari and Chrome.

Hi, When the Enpass Extension is installed in Safari, It is no longer possible to access the tinyMCE editor. You can check it on this page: https://www.tiny.cloud/docs/tinymce/6/full-featured-premium-demo/ The editor does not finish loading and cannot used. Several errors are visible in the console. Tested on Safari Mac 17.1, MacOS 13.6.1

Hi there, recently enpass started to instantly flag any and all 6-digit (or less) numerical PINs I set up as compromised. I tried to save 10 completely random number combinations in a row, and all of them are marked as compromised right away once I save them. Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks for any hints!

Hi, since the last update, I'm unable to sync to my OwnCloud instance via WebDAV anymore. On all devices I receive the error code 904035 ("Something went wrong while syncing with WebDAV. Error code 904035"). Other apps have no problem using WebDAV though. I'm using Enpass 6.11.0 (1676) from the Mac App Store on macOS Sonoma 14.5 and Enpass 6.11.1 (843) on iOS 17.5.1. Do you have any suggestions what to do? I already deleted the app and reconfigured the sync on both devices without any luck.

Hello, I've been running Enpass installed from the Apple App Store since it seems to be more reliable than the externally installed version. But now it won't save any passwords from the browser extension. When entering a new credential, the save window comes up and I click save, but it doesn't get saved in the vault. Let me know if there is a solution for this. Thanks!

Hello, I use Enpass with a local key file and every morning I need to log in into Enpass again, even though I have set in the settings that Enpass should be locked only when the system is inactive for 9999 minutes (which is 166 hours), so this option seems not to work. When I log in into Enpass, I need to navigate to the key file every time, even though I have set the option that Enpass should remember the path to the key file (see attachment). This seems to be two bugs. Would be good if this could be fixed! Thanks, Maja

Error Message after the second time opening the password manager. First opening after installation and setup works but after the second time I receive always the the message wring password. - tried all-ready to deinstall incl. libra and new install - on the mobile device everything's works fine, so I didn`t forget my password Any Ideas -> wrong Library in the OS IOS Catalina and newest Version of Enpass

HI, I'm using Firefox 126.0.1 (64-bit) wirh enpass plugin 6.9.4.1 on a Mac M1 running Sonoma 1.4.5. When I login to my bank account (https://banking.dkb.de/login) and try to login with clicking the Username field, the proper credentials from Enpass are shown from the plugin, but when I click this entry, the Username field stays empty and nothing happens. When I try a right click in the Username filed and select Enpass from the context-menu, and then the same entry, this works. I experience this problem on the DKB site only. Any hint, how to solve this on my side? Best Achim

I am trying to clean up my items and scroll through the list. When I delete an item using the context menu, the scroll position of the list and the selected item are reset a bit later, presumably due to the sync process in the background. This makes the whole job awkward because I have to scroll all the way down again to find my current position. The focus of the list should be independent of other internal processes. When I look at the sync status on Mac with NextCloud, I always see; Last synced; a few seconds ago But I know that isn't correct, because looking at the last accessed date on NextCloud I see 5-10 minutes ago. And looking at the sync icon for a few minutes it isn't syncing so many times. So it seems that message is incorrect or the last synced date cannot be retrieved. Anyone else has this with NextCloud?

Update: The issue was related to a - probably - corrupted webDAV file, which resulted in a crash. Hey, Enpass crashes 5 to 10 seconds after entering the Master-Code. It's not usable anymore... Is there a simple way to downgrade? I installed it using the AppStore. Hello guys, there is a normal entry (login) for Payback Website (https://www.payback.de/login) in my enpass safe (mail address, password, website/url) but when I use it with Safari or Firefox extension it only open a new tab in browser. I will open the website right-click in the mail field and open "Enpass" with context menu, there it shows my entry "Payback" when I choose it, the browser opens a new tab. All my other entries works fine, I have only problems with Payback. Do you have any idea? I also create a new entry in my safe but it doesn't work either. Thanks Sven

Using Enpass 6.10.1 (1661) on Linux Arch (latest version), but same symptom on Linux Debian (latest version) When selecting a tag or sub tag in left panel, selected tag goes grey, and items with that tag are shown in the panel beside. This is correct behavior ! But sometimes at random times the view switches back to showing all items. The tag that was selected is not grey anymore, but the "all items" goes grey !! So basically loosing the items that were selected with a particular tag. Also if a sub tag was selected, in the tag "tree", the tree collapses, only showing the top level tags. Is there any way a log can be created for debugging this…
