    I like the idea of Enpass supporting Brave browser on Android and see the value of implementing the same with such a vast user's demand. All I can assure of right now is that I'll take this forward from here to the concerned team for consideration.

    We need to be clear with Restoring from Dropbox. Are you using the cloud sync or are you downloading the vault sync file from Dropbox and then restoring it as a backup file in Enpass? The latter one is not a possibility, moreover, are you trying to restore the data from the Welcome screen of Enpass or within an existing vault? If it's possible for you, please share a screenshot of the error you face while entering the password.

  3. Hey @jgw0,

    Enpass is an offline password manager and doesn't need an active internet connection to add or save items until and unless you're using a cloud to sync or while auto-filling items over web. Even in that scenario, there's no issue with using Enpass on a VPN.

    Welcome to the forums!

    We regret the inconvenience with the master password.

    Make sure that you're careful with the case of the letters while entering the password. Also, try copy-pasting the master password using a text-editor into Enpass. This will help validate the special characters(if any) in the password.

    It probably seems that the cloud account details are already entered on the default browser of the device. E.g. If you're using OneDrive to sync, open OneDrive login site on the default browser of your device and check if you're already logged in with an account. If Yes, please sign-out and uncheck the Signed-In check box.

    Once you sign-out from the account, Enpass will then ask you for the cloud account details you wish to sync with.

    That's right! Enpass versions 5 and 6 have different architecture and internal file structure. Due to this reason, Enpass 6 doesn't recognise the version 5 sync files and vault database.

    Maybe, there is. Try using Enpass 6.0.6 on your 2009 Mac and check if Enpass syncs with other devices. Download Enpass 6.0.6 for Mac from here. If you want to restore v5 data in v6, you can check the article on the help page and take help.

    The extension of file containing item should ideally be `.enpasscard` and not a .txt. You'll have to check how .txt suffix appends at the end. Once you have a ".enpasscard" file on your system, you can open the same using installed Enpass application. You could also share items (in .enpasscard format) via email protected with a PSK.

    To restore purchase across devices, users first need to register/link the purchase with an email address on that particular device where the purchase is made. The purchase restores successfully on using the same registration email on other devices.

    Check the default browser on your system. Try changing it from Safari to Chrome or any other browser. Let us know if that opens the iCloud login page, and if you're able to setup sync.

    Thanks for sharing the issue.

    Did you try updating Enpass to the latest version 6.3.3 and compare results?

    You can drag and move the username and email fields(editing an item) using the three horizontal lines at the end of the field box. Doing this for a particular item changes the order of auto-fill criteria to username or email. Try and check if it's helpful.
