I use multiple Chrome profiles personal/work/test and see the plugin enabled on all profiles in the extension list under settings though I do not see the enpass icon as I do on my primary (personal) profile. Autofill or AutoCapture, creating new creds don't seem to function, i need to right click to access the enpass menu or just open the app. This seems to be the case across platforms as well. My primary workstation in ubuntu 20.02 though I can replicate on Windows 10 as well. Current version on Chrome is Version 92.0.4515.131 (Official Build) (64-bit) Thanks, Chris

Hi @icar, In our tests we found Gmail autofill via Enpass is working as expected. We checked both English as well as the French.

We tested the issue on 3 websites that you mentioned- While testing, the autofill issue with Egyptian national railways has been reproduced and aligned for a fix. Could you please confirm if autofilling credit-card is failing only on the website of Egyptian National Railways? Unfortunately, we don't have valid login details to log-in and test the autofill behaviour for credit-card. Are you getting this autofill issue with Ana Vodafone app or website? I have android 10 Enpass version 6. 6. 7. 510 I enabled all autofill options But the problem is on my Windows 10 too

Hey @banned-one Thanks for writing back. Considering that you have installed Enpass extension for chrome browser and pinned it as given in the attached snapshot(chrome 1). After installation, left click on the Enpass plugin icon to pair the Enpass app with the extension by entering a pass-code on the extension window to authenticate. Attached a snapshot of same for your reference. Also, you can refer to this link to add Enpass extension on chrome browser. Once done, you can left click on the Enpass plugin available on the browser and it will show you all the matching items to autofill. If this doesn't help you, share the snapshot of the page so that we can help you better. Make sure you have enabled Ask to save new logins from the Enpass browser settings. To do so, follow the steps: Open Enpass > Settings > Browser > Enable Ask to save new logins. Also, you can refer to this link to enable the same in Enpass settings. Thanks!

I just installed Enpass on my pc, I also installed the Firefox and Chrome extensions, I have ran a sync from my pc to OneDrive, and connected both my browsers to OneDrive. On pc if I click on All Items, I see all my passwords, that I imported in from LastPass. But that is as far as I got. I can't get my passwords on my browsers, I can't get anything to autofill, I can't get it to save new passwords. I haven't tried separating into the individual categories. Since I haven't been able to get anything else work right I was afraid to do something I couldn't reverse, figuratively speaking. If someone could just get me started in the right direction, I don't expect you to hold my hand through everything, just get me started. Once I get there, I will have learned enough to figure it out myself. It's a password manager, not rocket science, but right now it might as well be rocket science because I just don't understand the thought process. Thank You banned-one

Hey @Mahmoud Abolfadl Welcome to the forum! Currently, Enpass auto-save feature only works on apps (using Android Framework services API) and not on the browsers. We will definitely improve the behaviour once Android supports this functionality. To test this issues, we would require below details- On which Android OS are you having this issue? Which Enpass version you using? What all autofill options you have enabled in the Enpass Auto-fill settings? Thanks!

OK, I don't know what happened, I sent this like 2 or 3 days ago. Thank you for information, I will make note of it, (this response is working with Firefox, but chrome is the same) however when trying to autofill, do I right or left click. If it's left click, nothing at all happens, like nothing. If I right click, I get a menu where the first selection is "manage extension" which opens the Firefox extension menu. The only way to get enpass to open to a usable menu, I have to click the icon in the notification area. I can work with the vault, but even clicking on autofill it does nothing with the browser Also you said that enpass would recognize a new or updated password, and it will ask to save the file, but it's not doing that. I can't get it to save at all. Like I said I managed to import from Firefox, I believe, but I have to go in and select the password I want to use, copy it, then paste it. I guess I installed it wrong, or something. do you think it would help to uninstall and reinstall?

Hey @banned-one Welcome to the forum! To autofill passwords saved in Enpass on any app/website, open the website in which you wish to auto-fill and then click on the Enpass extension plugin. The extension window will show you all the matching items, you can select the particular one to fill by double-clicking on the item. You can also check the same on our YouTube video. When you login to an existing webpage (saved in Enpass database) or a new webpage with a new/changed password, Enpass detects the changes and prompts to update/save the information. Make sure you have enabled Ask to save new logins from Enpass Browser Setting so that you can get option to save new logins in Enpass using extension. Hope this helps!

Hello, is there a way to exclude or blacklist certain apps or website from either autofill or autosave popup? I did find this on the desktop app, but not on Android app. Thanks!

Hi @UdhayanithiG, Thanks for raising the question. The short answer is NO. The article mostly discussed about autofill extension of online password managers which injects their UI/chrome into web page and interact with their server. This additional chrome can be exploited by clickjacking or exposed server endpoints can be accessed by additional scripts because they live in the same shared space i.e. the webpage. Here are few points how Enpass is immune to such attacks: 1. Enpass does inject only limited script to detect presence of forms that user may want to autofill. It does not inject any chrome/UI that can be clickjacked. The autofill UI is a separate process than the browser and immune to such attacks. 2. The connection between local application and browser extension is authenticated by user via manual pairing mechanism by user and communication is encrypted with a shared key which malicious scripts can't access. 3. Enpass, by default, requires user intervention before supplying any credential to webpage. In future, if Enpass introduce a feature that require additional UI injection in the webpage to increase user convenience that would certainly be inside the attack surface mentioned in the article. But be assured such a feature will be optional and you can keep Enpass extension in a configuration as it is today. Cheers:)

Hi Whenever I am on a sign in page, enpass gives me the opportunity to autofill. I can open a "item search" dialog. But for a yet unregistered item, of course there is no suitable item yet. Enpass let me choose any account's item, but I am missing a possibility to add a new item here. I can use enpass to generate a new password here, and it fills in that password in the form, but the password is not added to a new enpass item. Am I doing something wrong here? Best regards Henning

Hi all, I don't know if anyone here bumped into the same issue as me. I am using Enpass on my Galaxy Note10+ and there is one specific app on my phone (my main mobile banking app) which does support Android autofill. However, anytime I use the autofill to login, it always said that I have the wrong password. My workaround is switching to Enpass keyboard to fill each field one by one, and that always work for me. Should I do something to fix it on my own? I could just use the Enpass keyboard but it's not very convenient for me. I enclosed a screen recording to clarify my situation better here. Best regards.

Hi, I have the same problem with Microsoft account. Was working once and then I had to change password and since then it's not working anymore. If I copy PW from enpass app it's working, with autofill it's saying: wrong password. Any ideas? Br Sven

Your app have the better design than the others :-) Bravo bravo I just have a quick question and I don't find an answer on the forum or on the web. Can you tell me why we can't have the same feature like 1password or lastpass for the autofill ? I mean : just a small button directly on the form. Please have a look on my attachements. Hey @Masterframe You can fill in http auth dialogs with Firefox and Chromium Based Browsers. Although it has some limitations: Supported Actions: Extension Button - Yes Keyboard Shortcut - No Behavior on Browsers: In case extension button in toolbar can be clicked: You can click on extension button and select a item for filling. In case extension button can’t be clicked: Open a new tab and then select a item for filling. It will launch the url saved in item and autofill. Thanks!

Hey @Fadi That is a difference between Webform and Identity, as Enpass only saves Webform if there are a username and password field in the Webform page wherein Identity you can save the information which doesn't have password field to autofill. Check below-mentioned steps to know how Identity works: Save items in identity categories. Open the particular website in any browser where you want to autofill ---> Click on Enpass extension --> Click on Identities. --> Select and double click on the particular item where you want to auto-fill. If you still not able to fill on the payment page, then please share the name or link of payment page where you are getting such issue so that we can test it. Thanks!

Yes, I can see them in Safari while autofill something and I can see them in the Enpass app Have you created those vaults in your iPhone or restored them from any cloud/backup? I restored them from dropbox and google drive. I can see one from google drive and one from dropbox. I restored them in that order. Did you start facing this issue lately? No Are you able to access other vaults in main Enpass app? Yes

If I have understood you correctly, you're are able to see all vaults in main Enpass but the you try to autofill in Chrome using Enpass you don't see all the vaults. Please let us know the following details so we can help you better: Do you see all the vaults in Safari browser or App? Have you created those vaults in your iPhone or restored them from any cloud/backup? Did you start facing this issue lately? Are you able to access other vaults in main Enpass app?

Still unresolved. When can we expect a fix? Firefox is quite popular. I believe it falls within your responsibility to communicate with Mozilla to the extent that this is necessary to enable usability of your app. Without autofill, Enpass is hardly usable at all.
