Hi there, I would like Enpass to allow more controls on automatic backups. Currently, Enpass allows automatic backups (or simply disable them and create them manually). That's fine, but I'd like to see more controls to customize backups. For example, limiting the times to create backups in a day, or from which change a backup should be made, or how many backups should be logged or even an option to auto-delete backups according to Its age. A considerable number of backup copies are stored on the PC, which can weigh up to more than 600 MB (with a database of 6 MB or less). Thanks.

Hi There, This is my first time asking here a question. I''ll try to describe the issue i'm facing. I have bought a new laptop recently and i installed the enpass App on it. After logging in successfully now i want to sync it with my cloud data and here is the issue. It asks for a password so that the Enpass application can synchronize the data between the cloud and the new installed application. I entered several passwords that i have used in the past but i have never changed it so far i can remember. After several attempts, i do not know anymore how to synchronize between these two applications so that i have the same data on this new laptop as my other devices. PS: this is not about my master password because i can log in successfully on the enpass password manager, it is the password that the password manager asks to sync the cloud with it. I hope you guys could help me out with this. Kind regards, Naj

When backing up and restoring Enpass (local backup file on a stick), not all settings seem to be saved and restored. Especially the settings for the cloud sync imho is important - when installing Enpass on several computers and configuring it via a backup-file, I always have to enter the cloud settings manually each time. They are not included in the backup file. Is there a reason for this or could you please include this in the next update? Imho, when restoring an installation from a backup file, ALL non-computer/workstation-specific settings should be included.... Thanks for considering this!

PROBLEM: "Last Synchronized" field is blank. I even tried the "Sync Now" button, and the field still is blank. Perhaps worse, my vault isn't getting sync'd or backed up. Thank you.

I installed Enpass again today. But when I tried to restore from Cloud with Google Drive I get this error message. Someone knows how to fix this? Edit: I don't have this problem on my phones (IOS and Android 8.0)

Hi! I have started using Enpass to store and sync all my passwords and works perfectly. It is great that I can use it on Android, too. However, at work, cloud storage sites are blocked by an internal proxy, and I have setup a socks proxy to bypass it. I would like to be able to specify this socks proxy to the Enpass desktop application, so that in can backup to the cloud. At the moment, only http proxy are supported (as I tried with my socks proxy but it did not work) Thanks in advance

When I first started, I managed to sync 3 accounts. Since then Ive added 5 more items, but OneDrive has stopped synchronizing. I get error codes 108 and 120. What can I do to get this going?

Dear, Enpass developers. It's almost three months since I first started using Enpass, and by far, it's the most hidden gem of password managing services. Unfortunately, I have something terrible to report.... Lately, I'd been using this app frequently on Windows 10 and Android 5.1 (Marshmallow). It did a good job integrating with the cloud (I was using Google Drive) so I could view and edit items wherever I want. But then, something went wrong.... After I reinstalled it on my PC (OS reset) and reintegrated it back, there were about 3-4 login items that disappeared (it was last week). I already tried pressing sync multiple times on both devices but they just wouldn't show up. I thought the problem is in the Windows software because even when I had the opportunity to create a new login on my phone and attempted it, the new one even did NOT appear on my PC. I already checked both the Internet access and sync notification, no problem 2-3 days later, I tried to move my login details to another cloud — which is Dropbox, hopefully thinking it's just a cloud problem and getting fixed soon. I first took a list of which items disappeared on my PC, deleted those items on my phone so they could be seen as synchronized (I knew it wasn't good but it's okay since I already took a list), then I changed the cloud (from GDrive to Dropbox) starting on my phone. Finally, I reset Enpass both on my devices, just to make sure it worked perfectly. And yeah, “they are now synchronized perfectly with all login details showing up on both of them.” However, it's getting more complicated. Today (as of Nov 21), I just realized one of my login details had totally gone. It was a project/board management account, and I completely didn't have any idea how it went. I even tried to go back to Google Drive and..., no. It's not there. In the end, two accounts of mine have already been lost. Well..., just two maybe not really impacted my life, but I couldn't neglect how IMPORTANT they truly are. The first one came when I tried to change one's account password with its built-in password filler, and I didn't realize the clipboard from Enpass will be deleted AUTOMATICALLY after 30 seconds by default. This is the second one, and while I've been really eager to show some support, I'm really traumatized. After the whole experience, I decided to stop entirely using any password manager... at least for now. If I ever come back, I'm not going anywhere besides here because I've done trying almost everything from other big competitors and they don't exactly fit my need (to tell you the truth, even LastPass had a critical security hole in my last usage). But please, I beg you.... ENHANCE its data security and protection much further, especially when you've already determined to utilize cloud services from other providers. Its Android app too — although already fulfilled some basics — still needs a lot of refinement (ex. not yet supported with Firefox). I guess that's all. Thanks for hearing me out. Sincerely, Umar. Note: At that time, I was a free user, but I can tell the Android app never reached its limit. P.S. I think I created this post in a wrong thread, and I don't know how to move it. Please help me if it is.

Hi all, After testing, any attempt to sync my wallet to the Dropbox (or any) cloud service doesn't work. The wheel is spinning but I am not redirected to the page for login. I attempted to open via xdg-open in a terminal, and everything is fine, but apprently the application doesn't show anything. I also tried to launch from the script Enpass, and no log for error or whatsoever. Any solution ?

You should add iCloud sync for Windows computers. iCloud is available for Windows and you can save and sync any files to the cloud, like you do with the other more common cloud servers. I do not like Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, etc. Please consider adding iCloud sync to Windows. Thanks.

please insert MagentaCloud for sync thx

I'd like to report a bug in syncing with Enpass for Windows desktop in Windows 10. Here is how the bug occurs: -First of all, you have to use Enpass for Windows desktop -Then, in OneDrive settings, you have to select OneDrive as the folder for documents and images -Make sure to have OneDrive sync enabled in Enpass -Now, OneDrive will be stuck on "Processing changes", and to make it stop, you have to restart OneDrive client, or restart the computer; it continues to upload files despite this, but even if there are no files left, it stuck on "Processing changes" forever until a restart of the client or the entire PC I noticed that If I revert the OneDrive settings not selecting the folder target documents and images as OneDrive, so local, the bug doesn't occur anymore. In addition, I found that if this happen, if I try to copy files from OneDrive to other source, the Enpass files are not copied because Enpass block the file in OneDrive. In the first screenshot, Ashampoo tell me that the Enpass file in OneDrive are blocked by another program, Enpass itself, and in the second screenshot, there is OneDrive stuck on "Processing for changes". The last screenshot shows you that Documents and Pictures folder are being moved on OneDrive.

I am looking for a solution to the problem of using Enpass locally between iPads, iPhone and MacBook Pro. Whilst using the iPads, I've employed my own hosted WebDav but again the management of such a server requires time and effort unlike iCloud, OneDrive for Business or local Folder. Cloud sync would be good if it is a Trusted store such as Apple or Microsoft. But do we really 'trust' these big corps with our password data? I would like to build a cross platform WebDav for secure password management for people to use solely for this purpose only. Who would be interested? I'm thinking deploying WebDav on a Swiss Server, designing a web interface for Enpass and then syncing between devices through WI or SSH. I've tested WebDav and EnPass on Digital Ocean before but it's a lot to manage. Any other solutions to secure cloud password storage?

Hello. Enpass cloud sync using OneDrive usually works very well for me. But this morning I experienced the problem of some changes made in the traditional Win32 desktop application not syncing to other devices (Windows tablet and Lumia 950). When I tried manual sync, the phone and tablet would fail repeatedly. "Last attempt" time updated, but "Last synchronized" date remained old. Then, I opened the Windows 10 UWP app on my PC, entered the same changes I had made in the Win32 app, manually sync'ed, then tried to sync the phone and tablet again--and they both worked! So, it appears the Win32 application causes problems with cloud sync in my case--although the cause and workaround could be different for others. Desktop: W10 1607 build 10.0.14393.187 | Enpass (UWP) 5.1.6 | Enpass (Win32) 5.3.0.1 Tablet: W10 1607 build 10.0.14393.187 | Enpass (UWP) 5.1.6 Phone: W10 1607 build 10.0.14393.189 | Enpass (UWP) 5.1.6

Hi, After reading the review by Daniel Rubino on Windows Central, I thought I would give Enpass a try. Have been using Lastpass for a while, but was attracted to your support for UWP, Windows Hello, cost and device sync. I am really impressed. I travel a lot, sometimes in areas with no wifi or phone signal. Can you suggest a workaround/method for getting access to stored passwords, etc in a worst case scenario where I only have access to a public computer or a borrowed smartphone? This computer / smartphone may NOT have Enpass installed and my data file at present is located on my Onedrive. Is there a web app, for example? If the only solution would be to buy another phone and install Enpass on it, I guess there would still be a need to remember my login details for the new phone's platform AND my OneDrive. Thanks for the good work. Malcolm

There seems to be a bug with sync to Google drive that affects both my Mac and my Linux machines. If Enpass is left running through a sleep cycle, sync doesn't function after a wake-up. Enpass must be quit and restarted for sync to function again.

I'm using Tresorit, https://tresorit.com/, as cloud storage and would like to sync. Will tresorit be included as sync option or should I sync with tresorit as a standard folder ? .... or chose another alternative Thank you,

Let me choose the folder Enpass will use to sync using OneDrive. I use OneDrive, and there is a folder[1] for apps to save data specific for them (it's the approot special folder). I'd like to use this folder, instead of the root of my OneDrive. [1] https://onedrive.live.com/?id=apps
