  5. I wanted to inform you about a recent change in Firefox that may impact the way keyboard shortcuts for extensions are handled. Firefox has introduced stricter restrictions on the use of reserved or system-level shortcuts, which may result in an “Invalid combination” error when attempting to assign certain key combinations. Specifically, the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Q may now be permanently restricted and unavailable for reassignment. As a workaround, we recommend using an alternative shortcut such as Ctrl+Shift+Y to continue using the extension without interruption.
  6. I wanted to clarify how Enpass auto backups work and their triggers: Auto backups occur based on tracked user actions categorized as major and minor events. When certain thresholds are met (major counter = 3 or minor counter = 6), an auto backup is triggered, with a maximum of one auto backup per day. Other backup types (Erase, Import, Change Password, Restore, Manual) occur at specific actions like erasing data or changing passwords and can happen multiple times a day. A total of 60 backups are maintained, with auto backups replacing older ones once limits are reached.
  7. Firefox requests this permission so the Enpass extension can securely communicate with the Enpass desktop app using native messaging and a websocket connection. #SI-4373
