Up to now I used Enpass only with the 'Standard' vault with the Master password. Today I created a secondary vault and now I wonder, how I could log into this secondary vault with its password. Starting Enpass always presents me the login window with a promt for the Master password of the primary vault.

Hello, I have the following problem. I can not connect my Enpass on Windows PC to iCloud or other cloud systems, because when I authenticate Enpass always reopens, so a new window and there I should enter my master password again. However, it does not take that and always says wrong. I am a bit desperate. What I have to do?

Running the latest version of the desktop app. I am a Premium user. I have my vault stored in Dropbox. I can't change the backup directory. Every folder I choose isn't not accepted and the application stays on C:\Program Files\Backup, which is not an actual directory. How do I change this so I can make backups locally (not Dropbox)? I don't see backed up files anywhere. When I click on previous backups, it shows nothing and when I click on Backup Now there is a little refresh and no change.

I am having a wierd issue - as of today my TOTP entries aren't generating the proper codes. I de-registered and then re-registered, and the application still doesn't generate the proper code. This was working as of this past Wednesday (the last day I had an opportunity to use a site that required the code). If I use another generator (such as Google Authenticator), the correct codes are generated.

Two minor glitches, but thought I’d mention them. Windows 10 Pro 1909 / Enpass 6.4.2 (669) Desktop app: If I manually adjust the app window to say ¼ screen, Enpass will remember that setting when I exit the app and next open it. However, if I press Maximize and then exit the window, Enpass will overwrite my manually adjusted setting, leaving it with two Maximized positions. Essentially the window size at Exit is what Enpass stores as its Restore Down window size. If I always press Restore Down before pressing exit, Enpass will remember my ¼ size window. Actually, everything is working fine so far. My Windows 11 Desktop acts as the Wi-Fi Sync server and my iPhones are connected via Wi-Fi Sync. That means that my vault is on all devices. What if my Desktop gets broken, and I don't have access to it and to the Wi-Fi Server and the vault? Is there any chance to get my vault from my iPhone to a fresh Windows 11 installation, so that the new Desktop could act as the Wi-Fi Sync server and holds the "old" vault again? I just tried to create a new vault on my Windows 11 Desktop and tried to recover the vault via Wi-Fi, but there was no Wi-Fi Sync server found. Do I have to use a local backup in that case? I have a couple of site that use basic browser http authentication. I added items in the main Windows Enpass application (all on the same Windows laptop) that are for the domain. However when that site is opened nothing is filled in the login fields. For example I added https://localhost to Enpass When I open https://localhost/MySite nothing is filled in the login fields. This is in Chrome using the latest version of both the browser and the extension. Anyone else run into this or have an idea of what to do? I have the "Show Items with Exactly Matching Hostnames" unchecked.

I have seen more than once now that when doing an update of Enpass, if it decides it needs to reboot to complete the update, it does so without any warning. You must not do this. The user must be warned and allowed time to save changes to current work etc.

After receiving the option below, I decided to try letting Enpass be the default autofill password manager in Edge. However, I don't like the experience. How do I revert this to go back to Edge being the default autofill password manager as I'm not able to find the option in Enpass or Edge?

As a heads up, control + shift + period is reserved for Firefox containers. I simply disabled the plugin since I don't use it enough, but I believe Enpass should be aware of the issue. Maybe there's a way for the program to see if any keyboard shortcuts have already been reserved and notify the user about it?

Does anyone know if Enpass 6.8.4 is tested and fully compatible with with Windows 11?

Hi all, I onboarded a non-technical friend to Enpass Windows and Android. She used Biometric sign-in for a while - until Enpass simply stopped offering to use Windows Hello and biometrics on Windows AND Android for no obvious reason. (Why does that even happen?) She always signs in to her device using biometrics, so she is authenticated and trusted. Also, her device is trusted. And Windows Hello is, by definition, MFA. So it should be significantly safer than the master password alone. How can we force Windows Hello unlock instead of Master-Password? She can't remember the correct master password, so she's locked out of all of her accounts - unless she can use…

Just installed Windows 11. Als installed Enpass newest version via Windows store. However, whenever I start the app it freezes and doesn't react either to keyboard or mouse input.

Heelo all. I'm glad to switch to Enpass and even I had some issues, but almost I resolved and still best alternative to 1Password. (I switched from 1Password.) So one more issue came up with Enpass, it doesn't work with Firefox very well. I spot, if you have enabled Firefox Settings > Privacy And Security > Ask to save logins and passwords for web sites & Autofill logins and passwords then Enpass conflict with those and not fill up fields. If you turn off then it works. Please fix it. I know can be managed to work together (1Password does without issues.)

When I change the masterpassword on a vault on a Win11 desktop that syncs to a Nextcloud server, the Enpass wallet sync fails from that point onward. The settings dropdown gives last date and time of sync and last attempt. Where last attempt is a failed sync. I welcome advice and solutions...

I had Enpass Pro working on my laptop as well as the desktop and Android, Vault shared with Dropbox. I had to reinstall form scratch Win 11 on the laptop. I setup Dropbox and the Vault is sync on my laptop. I installed Enpass and Launch it. It is asking for Master password, but failed. ( I know I have the password right). It never asked me for the email address. How does it know I have an account since it is asking for a Master password without asking for the email first. Confused. Meanwhile, Enpass is working fine on the Desktop and the phone and they both sync. RD

Hi, My primary vault is connected to Google Drive but when trying to connect a second vault to One Drive for Business I get the following error. "Something when wrong while syncing with One Drive. Error code: 1208968" I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting a couple of time but I get the same error. Screenshot attached.

Couple of users requested changed to the categories/templates section. 3 years later and still nothing has been done with it. Is enpass still being developed? Or are the customers feedback not important anymore? What is going on. and

Hi, since the update of the Enpass Chrome extension to 6.8.2 on Windows 10 Pro, it is interfering with fields like text fields and dropdowns on other websites. Depending on the field, I can't go to another field or can't open a dropdown to show the content and make a selection, the cursor also tends to jump to a totally different field way further down on the page when using TAB, etc. All of this works normally when the Enpass extension is disabled. I have other extensions active but those have no effect on the behaviour, the problems also clearly started right after the update to 6.8.2. I have a vault set up on a private cloud share folder. How can I set up enpass to automatically enter a login/password for that connection?

Hi everyone, I've just run an import of all my Firefox passwords into enpass and now have 700+ items in my vault. This has made it rather hard to navigate and quite a bit slower. However a large number of the accounts are duplicates that could be combined or removed, for instance apparently I have 5 Reddit accounts (they don't firefox just makes new ones for different casings of the username). Is there a way to remove duplicates or at least highlight likely duplicates in the same way compromised passwords are? Thanks in advance
