Hello Support Team, I'm little bit confused between data location , vault, and backup. I'm using Enpass with 4 different vaults located in 4 different drive, 2 One drive and 2 Google drive and I mainly use Enpass in two devices (Computer and smartphone). Now when I'm looking at the settings in Desktop App or Android App, data location are set in local, however it seems taht I have exactly same data between my two devices. Then I'm not sure how Enpass works and mainly where my data are ? On drive or on local ? I would say on Drive because of the sync but what the local data is referring to ? In addition, what would be the best way to ensure …

Good afternoon Whenever I try to modify and existing password or creating a new pasword within an existing folder enpass crashes. it is quite frustrating I use google drive to sync data I am running Enpass website version 6.8.5 on Windows 10. Is this a known issue that will be solved soon? thanks

I'm new to password managers so please forgive my ignorance. I have just downloaded Enpass and I'm setting things up. I like the idea of having the vault stored on my computer and not on some cloud. It seems to me that that might be more secure and simpler to access. I have a workstation Windows PC and several Windows laptops. I'm wondering if I can have the vault on the workstation and copy it to the laptops to use when I am away from workstation and WiFi? I have read some of the FAQ's and am still unsure of how to proceed. Any help or comments will be appreciated.

When using the desktop app, can the vault be located on a USB drive? I prefer to have the vault on a detachable drive for extra security. Thanks.

I use Enpass for several years on my windows-PCs and my android-phones. Now I got a new pc and had to ínstall all apps, including Enpass. To restore all passwords from dropbox I allowed to open the dropbox file. All seemed to work fine. But Enpass can´t open: "wrong password". But I´m shure the password is correct. With this pw I opened Enpass in my android-phone. The same problem after deinstalled and reinstalled the Enpass version 6.5.1 from your homepage. What can I do?

Hi All, As the title implies, after some update to the Enpass app on the Windows Store, I'm no longer able to sync my Enpass credentials from my Ethernet-connected PC (a Surface Pro 7+ running Windows 11 Pro) to my Wi-Fi-connected devices on the same Local Area Network (LAN). If I disconnect the Ethernet cable from my Surface Pro's dock and have it connect to Wi-Fi, then the Enpass Wi-Fi Sync works as expected over the LAN. This occurs both on my work and home networks. Upon attempting to troubleshoot this issue, I noticed that when connected to the LAN via Ethernet, the Enpass Wi-Fi Sync Server Address is oddly different from the LAN IP address assigned by the …

Dear Enpass-Team, Last week I switched to Windows 11 which is fully updated with the latest patches. Now I have the following issue: I was able to install and start the Enpass Manager. I synched it with my password-container in Google Drive and the passwords were synched, no issue there. But now, after the first synch, every time I start the Enpass Manager, when the green GoogleDrive symbol appears in the upper left in it and it starts synching, the Enpass Manager just closes down. Hello, i open a custom link from the website filecrypt.cc, click the browser extension, click on the entry to fill in the password. Instead of entering the password, a new tab will open. If I close the new tab and try again, it happen again. In Enpass 6.9.0 stable builds, the websites favicon doesnt show anymore within inline autofill. This applies to both Windows (UWP) and Linux (RPM) and both extension versions 6.8.3 and 6.8.6 Tried with Chome, Firefox and Edge. Enpass extension 6.8.3 on Firefox and 6.8.6 in Chrome. An example of an error message I get with the CSV is this: file could not be parsed. (CSV file is missing expected headers: url, username, password, timeCreated, timePasswordChanged) Meanwhile, attempting to import the JSON tells me that the file is empty, even though it is not. It seems right now that I am unable to import my Enpass vaults into other managers. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

i just updated my enpass, and when i use Windows Hello to unlock Enpass, there is a new exe called EnpassHello.exe trying to make an outgoing request to Akamai? if i denied the request my Enpass was refusing to unlock with Windows Hello and it kept asking for Master Password. for now i accepted the outgoing request just so my Enpass would function, but it does feel kinda suspect

Has this issue been fixed yet? Enpass is still sized incorrectly when my laptop is unplugged from the monitor.

I have a doubt about the caveaus. Can I have a different and independent database for another person? For example, I would like to put my passwords on Enpass where I can only access me, and another person put his passwords where he only has access. And neither one must be able to see the other password. It's possible?

I wanted to (1) Copy the Enpass data files from the original location "C:\users\johnpank\Enpass" to D:\ENPASS and (2) sync this folder using Google Drive, so I can access it from my other PC's. Hello, I have several vaults (about 30) that sync on a share located on a Synology NAS server, I use this folder to sync two different computers. From time to time I get a message telling me that there's a problem syncing and if I go to check the problem I'm told that the folder pass mode is required because it would have changed... but I've never changed any password on either my nas or enpass

It always comes up with the wrong ip address of the local wifi sync server. Works fine on phones and tablets. Why ? Thanks. Any help appreciated. Edit: Fixed!

I am traveling to some relative and would like to setup Enpass portable for travel. I am a bit confused over the product so I hope someone can answer my questions. I notice that there are multiple version of the enpass portable: Mac, Windows, and Lnux. Is the way to do all 3 be creating a fat32 usb drive and then install all 3 version on the USB? What is the recommendation for the data files, should I sync with the cloud version or should I just export to a separate vault?
