Installing 6.7.2.887 on Ubuntu 21.10 (A fairly recent nightly) results in... "gtk-update-icon-cache: The generated cache was invalid." during the install.

Hi, I have after a few false starts got Enpass running on my ubuntu desktop.. works ok, but I would like to move the primary vault which I figure lives somewhere on the PC to my newly installed Portable Flash Drive version.. I like the idea of the added security of being able to take my vault and its contents on my key ring rather than to have this information residing on my PC Hard Drive. Also wonder if the vault is on the USB drive, do I still need to retain the desktop firefox install? Appreciate any advice, this is all new to me.

I have a number of items I want to share with another user. Looking at the Share option it doesn't seem suitable for multiple items (I have 29 items to share). Is there a way of doing a bulk share?

Hallo all, most users will have their vaults on own WebDAV servers or in a cloud of some sort. In the tutorial I miss a detailed description how to migrate the existing remotely hosted data so that the vault(s) will be distributed by the new local Wi-Fi synchronization in the future. Dear Enpass, is there a way to not require an Enpass account and stay logged in? I'd prefer a full and true offline experience with only local/wifi-sync. Thanks a lot in advance

Unfortunately the new enpass version brings multiple annoyances, reduced efficiency, and a complete disregard to GUI design rules. The interface is counter intuitive and counter productive. There is no consistency throughout the experience, and my actual work process became much slower, either trying to find the required functionality, or waiting for enpass to perform its tasks. To open the enpass windows app, you have to click on the taskbar icon, click the 3 lines menu, and select open enpass. In the previous version it was a simple double-click on the taskbar icon. When I recently inserted my first passwords into Enpass, I decided to add «Tags» to all my entries. With that, I want to make sure to find entries later on, whose title I may possibly not remember, since I need them very rarely, but hopefully I will still know to which of my activities (=Tags) they belong.

When I press the key combination, instead of filling the username and password fields, the Assistant (I think that's what it's called) pops up and I have to search for the item, it does not find the match by itself. Now, it gets better: when I click the item, it auto-fills but instead of logging me in, the website opens another Window without logging me in! It happens in Safari in macOS and in Firefox on Windows. This happens when there is a URL match, and auto-fill for the same websites used to work just fine. The browser extensions are updated. After I started my PC this morning, I started enpass. I saw that the sync failed. The error was "sync failed. No data found on OneDrive". I checked all my other devices here i got the same error. I use enpass on: Windows (32-Bit App) iOS Android 7 Android 9 The enpass app is on all devices in the current version. I looked also in OneDrive. The directory where enpass is syncing is still there. I disconnected the sync everywhere and set it up again, but no improvement. What can I do? I am really dependent on enpass.

This is my first time on the forum. You should also know I am not technology-savvy, but I do understand the importance of strong passwords and security. I am trying to print out my passwords using the "Print" function in Enpass so that I have it on hard copy. When I attempt to do this here is what happens: Under "File" I select "Print" I then choose "All Items in Selected List" I click on "Print" I enter my Enpass master password and click "Continue" I am taken back to the previous window where I am again asked to select the list... and it keeps repeating the steps above. I'm on Windows 8.1 x64, using the latest Chrome 89, but I also tried Brave 1.22. I've followed the instructions here: https://www.enpass.io/docs/manual-desktop/browser_ext_using.html#saving-webforms I filled in the form, then I brought up the assistant in the browser (right click > Enpass) then I clicked on the hamburger menu, but there is no entry "Save Webform". All I see is the screenshot below. Otherwise Enpass works fine. Any ideas? Also, why can't we manually add a webform for an Enpass entry?

I've enjoyed using Enpass for a couple of years now, purchased a license too. However, as of late my Enpass window keeps "Not Responding" when I try to use it. I've uninstalled it, removed all registry entries and reinstalled it. This has not solved the issue. I've been installing it from the Windows Store. I've downloaded the manual install as well directly from the Enpass website, but it's doing the same thing. When I use it on my Android phone or my Surface Go (Windows Store version) I have absolutely no issues and it works fantastically. My database is 1.25mb and resides in OneDrive.

Hi, I accidentally updated a password of mine in the browser (it proposed me to update a password that I typed in the browser that had no connection and I pressed yes). Is there a way to see my password history? Lastpass is severely restricting their services for free users next month. I'd like to use the same services that lastpass offers, including using via an extension, different profiles for work, and 2FA as well as automatically filling in credentials on my android phone and Windows 2 in 1 device. Lastpass has a lastpass authenticator and allows you to use the Microsoft authenticator app to have 2FA to login too. I'm prepared to pay for the lifetime fee for this from enpass if this isn't included in your free version. There is something really wrong happening when Enpass uses password audit for identical passwords. On any of my 4 devices I have different results (in total I have 4 vaults and all 4 are synced on every of the mentioned devices - so it's about the same conditions): None of them seems to be correct I'm a bit upset as none of the Enpass apps on 3 different OS provides a correct result. Furthermore: if there is an identical password found in 2 different items and was removed from 1 of those 2 items on some device, other devices do not remove it from the list (even after successful sync).

I've installed Enpass portable on a USB stick using EXT4 format. It appears to have installed correctly, but it simply will not run. When I double-click on the icon, nothing happens at all. I've rearched the forum and elsewhere, but I cannot find any solution.

I created a backup file (.json and .txt) of one of two Vaults on my Mac. I tried to import the backup file into Enpass on an iPhone, via wifi and directly with the file. Each time I get the information that the password is wrong and/or the file format is not supported. But the password is definitely correct. I tried also different passwords, without success. The Mac uses a different iCloud than the iPhone.

My dropbox file has a last modified date of 2020.09.28 0557 MST. This is happening with Enpass Desktop for macOS Catalina (v6.5.0-700) and Windows 10-1909 (v6.5.0-700), and for the iOS 14 App (v6.5.2-487). I can log into the app on any device, it will not sync. If I input the Master Password after hitting "Resolve Now", it says "Incorrect Password". However, if I go to change the Master Password (to the same one), it will allow me to do so successfully. Before this issue started, I changed nothing, moved nothing. There are at least two other reports on the forum of similar issues starting at about the same time. Hello. As say in docs "When you create multiple vaults, the passwords of other vaults are stored securely in the Primary vault". So, if I Sync my Primary vault with cloud, this Vault (in cloud) contain (inside) my passwords from another multiple vaults? Thanks.
