The new Enpass version 6.0.3. is blocked by AVG internet security as a threat. AVG version: 19.1.3075 (build 19.1.4142.454) Windows 7 I had to rollback to enpass v. 5.6.10

Hello If the person I am sharing the pre shared key object with does not have enpass installed is there a way she can decipher it? I use case is one on which the person does not own or have access to a desktop and therefore cannot install the free version of enpass. Thanks

Since some time (21. Dec) Enpass under Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) does no longer sync its data to google drive. I am using version 6.0.1. When i do a "Tools -> Sync now" i dont see any modificatiton data change on my google drive under folder "Enpass" with file "sync_default.walletx". The file keeps to have a modification time of 21.12.2018. I already tried to disconnect / reconnect sync from Enpas linux client without any effect. Kind regards

Hi, We are a team of around 10 technicians whom today use a rather oddball passwordmanager named "pass". We are looking in to using Enpass but there is a caveat. When a teammember is terminated or quits - how can we lock down, or make sure that the password-wallet-file is locked for that user?

When I upgraded to the newest version of Enpass I lost all of my custom fields for my password. I had set up custom 'security question' fields so that I wouldn't have to remember them and they all disappeared when I upgraded to the newest version of Enpass. This has forced some sites that use security questions (government sites in particular) to lock me out. Not very happy about the newest version. In addition, the UI for the newest version (especially on the desktop version) is very clunky and none of the menu items at the top are viewable unless you mouse over them.

As I can vaguely remember, you mentioned somewhere that it was not advised to store large amount of images in the version 5 vault as it would grow large and be difficult to synchronize. Is it correct that this is solved with version 6? As I understand it, images are stored in separate files now and if added, they are synchronized only once and if they are not changed they will not impose any additional sync time or resources?

I have 2 vaults one for work and one for private stuff. I'm syncing this with WebDAV but can't sync to the same map, because vaults have the same file name (vault.enpassdbsync). Isn't it possible to change the file name to the vault name so I can sync in the same map?

Hi there, I'm using Enpass for a few years now on Android Phones, Linux, macOS and Windows 10. I always loved, that it's available on all platforms, relatively painless to use and free except on mobile devices. I've been quite surprised by the update that arrived on my phone a few days, Enpass looking totally different and updating my vault (and breaking compatibility with older versions). A warning of some kind would have been nice. So I updated all my installations of Enpass and after setting up everything seemed to work okay-ish. Just updated to 6.0.2 on my Windows computer and when I try to login to my Google Drive account to sync my vault it just sits on the redirected to Google Drive login page with the spinning icon. Nothing opens in my Enpass app or my default browser, Chrome. It seemed to pull in all of my existing files but just does not pull up a login screen to be able to sync the vault.

Hello. Before the update rel. 6. of today, everything was working fine. Since the desktop forced me to install the last update 6.0, the opera extension ask me to update as well. But impossible to get the extension from the chrome web store ; the button "add to Opera" does not appear, although I have installed the extension "Install Chrome Extensions" in Opera. NB : The extenion appears in Chrome, and I'm on W7. I would appreciate any help because I like this application. Thank you.

I recently upgraded to enpass 6.0.0 (230). Enpass syncs with DropBox and I have been able to sync it with multiple different devices: iPhone iPad Windows 10 Laptop However, I'm not able to sync with a Windows 10 workstation or new MacBook Air. The login to drop box works on the browser, but then enpass just spins trying to sync. Any ideas? Screen shot attached.

Today you released new version 6. So, after longer time I want test my bought version enpass via microsoft store. So I completly uninstall version 5 desktop version. After login into Microsoft Store with my account, and here I download lst version Enpass. But after open Enpass6 and setup onedrive, so in application settings when I click on premium function -> "restore purchase" so I see some strange red text with error. But I owned in microsoft store enpass license, I bought it +- one year back (when was last version 5.x.x) So what now? This is bug? Hi, I have my primary vault synced through Onedrive (Onedrive / Enpass), but I have a shared folder where I have a company vault (Onedrive / work / Enpass). I've created a new vault on the desktop and have it synced with OneDrive / work, but I can not do this on my phone (only local folders will open). We have a paid mobile app for Android and need more people to approach one company vault You could help me with that?

I have been using Enpass for years and I've always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the new release (v6) completely changed some of the unique features of this useful application such as Folders (which have been converted to tags). How am I suppose to find the information I'm looking for with tags? I literally have thousands of entries and the only best way for me was going through the folder structure. Now in the new update, it's almost impossible to create a new entry because I can no longer create a new item inside an existing folder and I have to add a tag to it. The worst part is I have to remember the whole path of tags which is realistically impossible. P…

Hi: I have Enpass on my ios (5.6.1) and had it on my MacBook. First, the upgrade on the MacBook - after redirection - cannot find the data file on OneDrive or Dropbox. It says there is no data there. I tried to install V6 on my new Chromebook (replacing the dying, 2012 MacBook and it says the same thing. I tried syncing the ios data to Google Drive (thinking it would be more compatible w/Chrome OS), and it says the same thing. With v5, I got a prompt asking if I had an existing account. When I start Enpass ... W10 I search for an item .. select it form Middle pane and it appears in the right hand pane. Then when I click on it ... often after a sec or so it close down and I have to go back and select it again. Happens on 2 different PC's

I've just imported all my passwords from a csv file. After that all imported passwords are marked as favorites and so all password are shown under the favorites folder. But i don't want to have all my passwords are under the favorites. I can remove a single item from the folder (right click -> Remove...). But i can't do this for every of the over 600 items! So how can i remove / untag all passwords from the favorites folder?

Dear enpass team, this morning my Chrome extension of Enpass was updated automatically to 6.0 and is no longer working with traditional win32 version: Extension is showing message: If I press update button and the download page of Enapss opens: Traditional Win32 - Requires Windows 7 or later - Latest version: v5.6.9 Checking updates with desktop version, does not show any updates! !!! Now I am unable to use Enpass with Chrome !!! [EDIT 11/27/2018 - 7:22 AM] Enpass extension is no longer available in Chrome web store. Guys in time Enpass5 I bought windows store version. But with Enpass6 I maybe must paid money again - ok, but before I send money I need know one big information. If I first install on my laptop version downloaded from enpass.io website, and via app-in I bought Enpass6, And after I uninstall this version and install version downloaded from microsoft store, will be my purchased still works? Today I was forced to update to the latest version, because the chrome plugin was no longer compatible with the version of enpass I was running. After the update, I am no longer able to press Alt+X while using Chrome, to get the password list. This is how I had it configured before the update. Now I only have the option to define a Ctrl+Alt+ another key. So that's three keys instead of an easy Alt+X that I could press with my left hand. So I'm either missing something, or I can no longer use enpass like I used to.

Hi, i started to update my first client to enpass 6. the key database was not in sync with the cloud (active sync but long time not started). after the reactivating of the sync. enpass sync the updated local db to the cloud. so i lost some entries in the cloud. actual sync from other clients will not work. can the cloud recovered by other clients after the sync will be reactivated? regards Thomas
