Enpass appends the one time code to the password when autofilling the login page of etrade.com. This may have been a necessity earlier (i.e. absence of a separate field for the one time code on the login page), but it is no longer the case. The etrade.com login page currently has a separate input field for the one time code.

Hi everyone, I am having trouble with the Enpass autofill feature in my browser extension. It seems like the autofill is not working as smoothly as it used to. For example, when I visit websites that require login details, the extension either doesn’t show the autofill prompt or it fills in incorrect information. I’ve tried reinstalling the extension and clearing the browser cache,, but the issue persists. I am using the latest version of Enpass and my browser is up-to-date as well. Has anyone else experienced this issue: ?? Are there any additional steps I could take to resolve it: ?? Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated....! I also went through this official guide: https://support.enpass.io/app/extension/take_a_look_at_browser_extension_settings.htmaws but couldn't get any help Thanks in advance! Steve Smith

I accidentally linked a password item to the wrong Android app and now I can't seem to change the association. Is there a way to correct this? I remember in older versions, there was a field called "Autofill info" that could be cleared to remove the association. However, I can't find this field ever more in the latest Android or Windows versions

Autofill using accessibility is broken in android 14
Amandeep Kumar replied to david's topic in Android
To help resolve the issue with Enpass autofill on your Android 14 device, please follow these troubleshooting steps and let us know the outcome: Ensure All Autofill Methods Are Enabled: Enpass utilizes three approaches for autofill functionality. Please ensure that all of them are enabled. If they are already enabled, try toggling them off and back on: Android Autofill Framework Android Accessibility Enpass Keyboard You can find these settings within your phone's system and Enpass app settings. Recreate the Affected Item: If the issue occurs on a specific webpage or app: Note down the credentials for this webpage/app.(Please delete it immediately after use) Remove the saved item from Enpass. Save the item again in the Enpass app. Test autofill functionality to see if the issue persists. Reinstall Enpass App: Create a manual backup of your Enpass data or ensure synchronization is enabled for your vault. Uninstall and reinstall the Enpass app. Set it up from scratch and test the autofill feature again. If the issue remains unresolved, please let us know the specifics of your device model, the affected apps/webpages, and any error messages you encounter -
With the update enpass 6.10.1. 982, enpass no longer autofills inline in Firefox for Android v. 124.2.0 Chrome and other apps still autofills and the related settings are on Android 14

I have a broken Autofill Info for an app inside an Enpass entry. I can display the autofill info, but not edit or remove it. What is the solution here?

Here’s a quick rundown addressing your points: macOS Sequoia Compatibility: Enpass 6.11.8 is fully compatible with macOS Sequoia as an application. However, for autofill functionality in browsers, Enpass relies on our secure browser extension. Since Apple's built-in Password Manager is integrated into macOS and Safari, it might appear as the default option. On macOS, the Safari extension is bundled with the Enpass desktop app and is added to Safari automatically, but it isn’t enabled by default. To enable the Enpass extension on Safari, please follow these steps: Go to Safari Preferences > Extensions > Enpass. Click the checkbox next to Enpass Extension in the sidebar. Click the Turn On button in the pop-up that appears. Once the extension is installed, connect it to the Enpass desktop app to allow access to your saved accounts, passwords, and passkeys. Click on Always Allow On Every Website. Browser Extension and Security: We understand the security concerns regarding browser extensions. Our Enpass extension is built with stringent security measures and only accesses fields necessary for autofill after your explicit permission. If you're not comfortable using the extension, you can continue using Enpass as a secure vault and manually copy credentials when needed. Using Two Password Managers: While it might seem like you're managing two systems, Apple's Password Manager and Enpass serve different purposes. For a seamless autofill experience with Enpass, we recommend activating the browser extension. This way, you can enjoy the robust features of Enpass while keeping your credentials secure. I hope this helps clarify things. If you have any further questions or need more details about our extension’s security protocols, please let me know.

HI, I'm using Firefox 126.0.1 (64-bit) wirh enpass plugin 6.9.4.1 on a Mac M1 running Sonoma 1.4.5. When I login to my bank account (https://banking.dkb.de/login) and try to login with clicking the Username field, the proper credentials from Enpass are shown from the plugin, but when I click this entry, the Username field stays empty and nothing happens. When I try a right click in the Username filed and select Enpass from the context-menu, and then the same entry, this works. I experience this problem on the DKB site only. Any hint, how to solve this on my side? Best Achim

What is the difference between Pro and Premium versions?
DanielN replied to Hiroshi's topic in Registration and Purchases
What I'm furious about is that even though I've bought the lifetime pro license and have had no issues whatsoever for years now, yet NOW I'm recieving popus on my phone whenever I try to have Enpass autofill passwords Urging me to upgrade to premium and stating that Enpass trial version can only store 10 elements!!!!. Now autofill doesn't work, and I can even confirm in the app that it is enfact registred as pro version. This is unacceptable! -
Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue with Enpass (Mac 15.0.1) in combination with Safari (18.0.1) and PayPal’s 2FA. Previously, I had SMS-based 2FA enabled, and everything worked seamlessly: Enpass autofilled my email and password, and Safari would recognize the SMS code and fill it in automatically. Now that I’ve switched to the one-time password (TOTP), the convenience is gone. The login process works, but handling the one-time password is frustrating: 1. Enpass correctly fills in the email and password. 2. I then need to switch to Enpass, search for the PayPal entry, copy the one-time code, go back to the browser, paste it manually, and continue. This is very annoying, especially on iPhone and iPad. Here’s what I’ve configured in Enpass: • Autofill login details automatically is enabled in the PayPal entry. • Browser settings: “Automatically copy and fill one-time code after autofill” is enabled. • Safari Enpass settings: Both “Autofill on page load” and “Show Inline Autofill Popup Menu” are enabled. Despite these settings, Enpass doesn’t autofill the one-time password. Does anyone know how to fix this? Unfortunately, I cannot switch back to SMS-based 2FA because PayPal doesn’t allow re-enabling SMS once it’s been disabled. Thanks in advance for your help! Questions: 1. Is this a known issue with Enpass? 2. Is there a setting I might have missed? 3. Does anyone have a solution to make this process more seamless, especially on iPhone/iPad? Best regards, Clamsy

Hi. I know https is the only way to go but, as an example, my router which is only accessible on my local network, does not support ssl. Well it does but it doesn't support ssl certificates unless i enable it to be accessible from the web which I don't want. Which would mean if I enable https, there's no valid certificate and I have to bypass the security warning every time go to the page. I feel there should be at least some way to whitelist certain urls or ip-adresses and let enpass autofill sites I have approved, even if they are not ssl sites. It's annoying to have to copy the username and password every time. If I save passwords in my browser it can autofill non ssl-pages fine, so even if I respect the limitation, I feel like there at least should be an option to whitelist certain pages that I frequent more often. Would this be possible?

I just installed Enpass on my tablet. I'm trying to give permission to autofill on the Brace browser, but keep getting an error "Brave keeps stopping". Brave IS running, it's NOT stopping! How can I get Empass to autofill on my Brave browser?

I use premium enpass for years now and I'm really satisfied by it and recommend it to everyone I know. I'm also a Developer and one thing that I would like to find out is, how we can implement OTP autofill with enpass on our websites? For example: I visit a webpage, I use my keyboard shortcut to fill out the username and password and submit the form. Now the OTP field shows up and I want enpass to automatically, or with the same keyboard shortcut, to fill out the OTP field. Is this possible? How does the HTML Input field need to look like? Special name, type or attribute? Thank you in advance and keep up the good work!

Hello, love enpass, but since it has lot's of categories and ability to store even documents or just notes it's very useful to me as forgetfull person. But sometimes it becomes very incovinient when it suggests to autofill fields from my notes, which are private, and I don't want anyone to see even the name of these notes. Please, add ability to exclude certain tags/categories/fields from even showing in autofill, especially on browser extension. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm a web developper and I use Enpass frequently to login on my local app with different test accounts. One of the last version of the app broke the autofill on local website (when the exact same build works on the remote URL). Environment: OS: macOS Monterey v12.6 Browser: Google Chrome v111.0.5563.64 Chrome extension: Enpass Password Manager v6.8.3 Enpass version: 6.8.5 (1256) Mac App Store PS: the issue is also present on another computer with Windows 11 Scenario: I prepared a scenario you can reproduce on your side too. I used the RealWorld demo app so that you can reach it remotely and run locally as well. Create an entry in enpass with the following. Note that I created this account on the app: Go on the login page on the remote website: https://demo.realworld.io/#/login Select the account The autofill works as expected. ✅ Now open a terminal and run git clone https://github.com/mutoe/vue3-realworld-example-app.git cd vue3-realworld-example-app npm install npm run dev It should download, install and run the RealWorld demo app locally. Now reach the address displayed in the terminal. For me it's http://127.0.0.1:5173/ Go on the login page and select the login proposed by the extension Nothing happened. The field is not filled as expected ❌ Thanks for your help, Aurelien

I faced an problem and hope you fix it. I have an item in my Enpass vault which has both a username and an email address. Issue When I try to populate a username box in a web site which corresponds to the above item with my username by tapping my credential which Enpass shows on the keyboard (the one-tap login function), instead it enters my email address registered in the same item. Instead, tap the key icon which appeared to the right of my credential above the keyboard, choose the item from the pop-up list, also result in the same. Workaround However, instead of choosing an item from the list, tap Enpass…, choose the item from the Enpass overlay, then Enpass populates my username as expected. Other information As far as I remember, this unexpected behavior had started since ver. 6.9.0. I believe in previous versions, the one-tap auto fill entered my username as expected as well as choosing the item from the Enpass overlay. Could you see and solve the problem? Environment iOS/iPadOS ver. 16.6 Enpass ver. 6.9.1

Hi, I have noticed Autofill using Accessibility doesn't work anymore on my Galaxy S10+, after updating to Android 10 / OneUI 2.0. I use Brave browser so I rely on the Accessibility route only, as it is not compatible with the Android Autofill service. I still have another phone on Android 9 / OneUI 1.5, which doesn't have the issue below: When trying to use Autofill on a website, I tap the Autofill notification, the Enpass biometric / login dialog appears normally, I pick the right login account from the list, it switches back to Brave. Normally at this point, it would fill the login fields correctly. On Android 10, this leaves the fields empty, nothing happens. I have tried to remove Enpass from the "optimised from battery" list, then reset my phone's settings, uninstalled / reinstalled both Enpass and Brave... And finally factory reset my phone, nothing worked. Is anyone else having the issue? Don't want to keep manually inputting passwords, switch to another password manager, or browser...
