Hi Is it possible to unlock the enpass Mac Desktop version automatically without typing the master password or PIN code with one of this methods? a) When my smartphone is nearby (based on GPS or present in the same WIFI or similar)? And automatic locking when the smartphone is out of range? or b) No typing of master password needed when a USB stick with a keyfile or similar is present on the machine? Otherwise I think I could move this post to the feature request section? Cheers Simon

Hello, I just switched over from 1password for a couple of reasons but after installing Enpass I noticed it makes network connections to Google analytics and sinew.in. Big turn off immediately I must say. in my opinion a password app (of all apps) must be super confidential and very privacy minded. I'm really not interested in an app that has Google spying on my habits and certainly not some some other (shady) network domain that I've never heard of. I hope you guys can clarify things. Cheers! Hello, My desktop enpass client is rejecting my master password (which I used multiple times successfully earlier today), and my (free) iOS client is accepting it. How can I get into my desktop client??

Mac App-Store version of desktop client. 5.6.3. Cannot clear checkbox to Auto-Submit Login for any entry. It is a disabled checkbox and default checked. Tried clearing, setting, and re-clearing the preferences option Auto-Submit Pages After Login. Rebooted, restarted desktop client, created a new entry to see if it was a bug in existing entries. Have not been able to get the checkbox to be enabled so that I can clear it.

Hi, Since desktop 5.6.2, desktop client sometimes crashes. When i click "little enpass icon" on chrome, the app sometime closes itself, and i have to relaunch it and type my master password. 5.6.3 does'nt resolve this problem. And 5.6.3 has another problem for me : sometime, when i want to fill nickname and password on a website, enpass is empty : no password at all, nothing in it. The only thing to do is close the app and launch it again... All this is very annoying. What do you think?

Hello, The update function doesn't work with macOS Enpass 5.6.3 & Safari Enpass 5.5.0. Previous versions were also affected. For example the username is not updated in the App after I clicked update in the Safari browser extension. Is it a known issue?

Just updated to version 5.6.3 the other day and didn't try using it until tonight. Application crashed the first 3 attempts to use of this version. It crashes a couple of seconds after clicking "Unlock". On the 4th attempt it didn't crash and has been stable for the last 5 minutes. Where would I download 5.6.2, I've never had any Enpass version crash before and I'm not sure I trust this newest version. Hey there, I switched from 1Password to Enpass today. The software is pretty neat so I decided to buy both Android and iOS apps. It's a pleasure to support your development for such an amazing app. But I have a problem and I hope someone can help me. I've done an import from 1Password as instructed here, it worked great. But some entries do have multiple, different passwords fields with different passwords for one website / entry. They look like this: I don't know where this comes from and how to fix it, but I think it's because of older passwords within the original 1Password entry. Hi, i would like to know what are the differences between Appstore version and web site version please? I don't care about icloud, so that feature is not important for me. I've notice that my actual appstore version is 5.6.2(118), and when i download the web site version, the file is named Enpass-5.6.0.dmg. Thanks in advance for your answers

I am on the latest MacBook Pro with macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and installed the latest Enpass app version 5.6.2 from the app store. I imported over 1000 keepass2 XML entries successfully. It appeared to have created all the folder correctly but after a few minutes of use, it crashed. I restarted the app and again after a few minutes, it crashed. Any idea what's going on? I like the app from what I have seen and would like to continue to use it but not if it keeps crashing. Thanks, Bob

When attempting to delete an entry using only the keyboard, the desktop mac app does not put the cursor on the popup confirmation window. The window pops up, and TAB, ENTER, or the arrow keys do not function. The only key that appears to work from here is ESC, which does close the window. Because ESC works, but nothing else I can conclude that the window has focus and is accepting keyboard keys, however this is not the case for any _other_ key.

Hi, I have a question of what happens when: My current sync location crashed recently. Now I want to change the sync location, but I have changed data over all three devices. What is best way to go from here? My guess is the following. Change the sync location on 1 primary location and let it sync to the new location. The changing the second device and let it point to the new location. If I understand correctly this will merge the data from the first device with the second device. Then changing the third device and let it point to the new location. This will merge the last sync of device 2 with this one. Is my theory correct? M.

This is related to another issue reported here already, where dock hides Enpass from time to time. While in the other issue, the problem was more limited, this case causes more severe usability issues. As seen in the attached screenshot, if the OSX dock is in the right hand side of the screen the Enpass popup from the chrome extension gets obscured by the OSX dock. This means that copy is not available from the popup. This is even more severe when TOTP is used and autofill can't handle the TOTP field. Related issue: I should also mention that other password managers like 1password doesn't suffer from this issue.

A few weeks ago I transferred all my data from Pocket to Enpass after Pocket stopped syncing with Dropbox and there is no longer any support. I loaded Enpass on my MacBook Pro and my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and everything seemed to work fine for a few days. Then all of a sudden I cannot log into either app. I tried every password I have ever created and nothing. Any ideas? Thank you!

Enpass Mac is crashing every time I try to edit the existing item, on macOS Sierra. Please see attached screenshot for the "Enpass quit unexpectedly report." Fyi, I have tried all the methods that I can think of, reinstalling the app after a full cleanup, disable the sync and even disabling the automatic backup. I am a paid member, not too sure if I am using the right form; please help to solve this issue. - Ronald

Hi ! I just started using this app and wonder if there is a chance to implement few features in future updates: 1) Ability to make Notes sensitive. Currently there is no way to hide content of Note from others eyes. Passpack has it by default, which I truly appreciate. 2) Create Custom types of Passwords: Let's say I need to add a lot of server credentials, but I need only specific fields inside. By default it has Computer->Server type, but it has lot of fields, that I just don't need. Any chance to add an ability to create personal types with exact fields I need ? Thank you!

Hello, after updating my mac with High Sierra, I am unable to sync with my Synology NAS. That´s my Settings: URL: http://ipfrommyNAS:5005/home/Enpass Username: Name Password: Password After clicking the the connect button, the System says "Connect" but it does not do anything. It seems that my master password has been corrupted since I last used enpass a few days ago I mainly use enpass to store generic client data (I really like enpass's ability to customise my entries) and as such I am not storing any sensitive information therefore my master password was simply 'a' but as of this morning I am unable to login. I see that I have daily backups, however I need to be logged in to restore from these so I am wondering if there is anyway I can restore my enpass database to the most recent backup? regards Aristide A

Hey, since about 2-3 months I can't sync my DB anymore. Hi, When i start ENPASS everything work fine, but when i trying to unlock ENPASS after locking, the first attempt to unlock ENPASS fails everytime with invalid password. The second attempt works fine. I try to enter the password as slow as possible to ensure there is no typo, but it didnt help. The first attempt always fails. Summary: 1. Start ENPASS with master password -> works 2. Lock ENPASS 3. First attempt: Try to unlock ENPASS with master password -> fails 4.
