Enpass Assistant is unable to connect with the Enpass app. Enpass with Chrome extension has basically been unusable for me for a week or two. The extension just can't connect with the Enpass app. The page pops up that it's trying to connect, Enpass pops up and I enter my password, but the extension never seems to accept that it worked or make the connection. If I uninstall the chrome extension and re-install it, it'll work once or twice and then completely stop working again. I'm not seeing anyone mentioning it on the forum which is surprising to me. I often open Enpass and it says there's a new version available, do I want to download? I say "no" because I'm on limited bandwidth and there's no indication of the size of the update. When I come back to Enpass later it doesn't say there's a new version available. I can find that I have 6.1.2, but I don't have a way of checking for "am I up to date?". So how do I know for sure? What is the current latest version? Thanks....

Hello, I'm a new Enpass user, both for personal and company use. We're migrating from several individual password managers and a custom web app we wrote for managing shared company passwords, and after considerable research I determined that Enpass was the best fit for us. Overall I'm quite happy with it, but I am having some frustrations with the category/template system. Perhaps I'm not understanding how it's supposed to work well enough, but what we need is a custom list of categories and templates for each vault. We also need to be able to hide unused categories and templates on a per-vault basis, and to copy categories/templates between vaults. I…

I've never had issues with the app until yesterday. Not it takes a few minutes for the app to load and then any action I take (mouse clicks, entering of password) takes a minute to respond. It is pretty much unusable. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling. I then tried deleting pref file. But issue still persists. Any help appreciated.

Hello, after updating Safari to Version 13, there was no Enpass Extension anymore. I hoped after deleting and reinstalling Enpass from the Appstore that the Safari extension is coming back, but there is no Safari extension in the list of extensions. What could I do? I am using macOS Mojave 10.14.5 When importing from 1Password Version 6.8.9 (689001) to Enpass 6.1.1 (471) the "Last Modified:" and "Created :" fields are filled in with the time of the import. Expected behavior would the the time the field was last modified and created.

I don't know why this was closed, the problem is still there. I have not been able to store a single Password other than using it manually, which completely defeats the purpose of this application. I sent you multiple support emails and other than ticket numbers I have not received a reply. I ensure that all apps and my OS are always up to date. At this point we (my partner and I both) would prefer a refund for both the Mac app and the iOS app and we will go back to using 1Password.

I am using version 6.1.3 (420) - and did install this version via Appstore on my Mac (High Sierra, all latest updates installed, including the latest Safari security updates). AppStore will not display the new version 6.2.0 under the "updates-tab" if I browse into the section of purchases, still version 6.1.3 is displayed with just an "open"-button, not a button to update Enpass if I then open the detail-page for Enpass, it shows the details for the 6.2.0-version and an update-button. Is this supposed to work on Safari 13? Safari has the extension checked and installed but doesn't populate anything. hen using Chrome or Firefox Enpass doesn't work. Can't find the Firefox extension., The Chrome extension installs but whenever anything is selected from vault the Safari browser is started and Enpass doesn't work with that.

Hello, I am a 1Password stand-alone version user and this is the first time I am tasting Enpass. They seem very similar but unfortunately I am also a Vivaldi and Brave browsers user and I notice that Enpass is not compatible with them. Is there any way to make them working together ? I only can switch to Enpass when you have Vivaldi/Brave compatibility. Do you expect to offer compatibility with this browsers soon ? Thanks

Hi, I am an avid user of Enpass. The app is great. I use it on my phones, on my Linux machine, on my windows machine, on my mac books. I have accumulated many hundreds of items in Enpass. I paid for premium version just so that I can use touch id to unlock Enpass on my macbook. But I have hard time figuring out how to use touch id. I have already enabled Quick Unlock -> Touch Id check box (See attached image). But neither the main app nor the browser extension ask for touch ID. Master password is the only thing they ask for. Hi, I've just migrated from 1PassWord because their latest pricing and subscription model drove me off. I had seamless transition over to EnPass and so far liking it. Unfortunately, the below are what I observed and hope that you could assist to resolve: 1) Do not want EnPass running at main background but at Menu Bar Steps to autofill website details is not user-friendly but troublesome. I know I can change my weak passwords by going into edit form and then generating a new, stronger password. Once I have done that, do I have to go to that login site and manually change to the new password or does Enpass somehow magically do it for me? What is the best procedure to strengthening weak passwords? Thanks for help.

I am using a Mac - macOS 10.14.6 with Enpass version 6.1.2 and am trying upgrade to Premium. When I go to settings>premium features I get to a section that says Premium Features and offers me a button link to 'Get Store Version'. When I click on that button I am taken to the Apple App Store and asked to OPEN Enpass version 6.1.3. When I do that the application opens on my desktop and asks for my master password. A recent Mojave update deleted by desktop and seems to have wiped out my enpass data. I have the backup file available, however when I try to use it to restore data, it asks for the master password of the file, which I enter - but it won't accept it. Please tell me how to restore from backup file - I have hundreds of passwords I need to recover. Why won't it accept my master password?? Please help. I'm desperate and need to fix this ASAP!!!

Hi Enpass Team, one of the arguments for buying enpass was, that you are using icloud synchronization. But I don't understand, why you are not using system icloud integration? I don't want to re-authorize time and time again. It happens a few times that I've added or changed a password, leaving only with my iPhone and have to find out, that the password wasn't synched because enpass needs to re-authorize. As long as you are not using system icloud please add a prominent information for the user. For example add a badge to the menu bar. Kind regards Chris

Hi, I changed a thing on the Webdav backend (moved folder) and now the app crashed and does not allow to enter settings. So I can't fix the WebDAV folder since I can no longer enter settings. Error code 904401 appears and I can no longer search password since app is frozen even after reboot.

I have encountered what looks like *two* bugs in the .csv export function on macOS. I am trying to write a .csv file to the top-level directory of a mounted encrypted sparse image. That is, I have a 500MB file on my desktop, which when I click on it and feed macOS a password, gets mounted as /Volumes/passwords. I select Enpass's Export menu item, choose CSV, and browse to /Volumes/passwords. Then I click the export box, enter my master password and Enpass says it has successfully exported the file. Except it hasn't. It doesn't appear in the directory, or, as far as I can tell using "find -name", anywhere. Looking at the copy of in.sinew.Enpass.plist in the …

I changed my master password and forgot what I changed it to. I went a few months back and restored an Enpass backup with my original password. So far so good. Then I changed my password and this time I wrote it down. The new password worked on my desktop, iPhone and iPad. HOWEVER I cannot update Enpass anymore. It always says I am putting in the wrong password even tho I open the program all the time with the password I am entering. What, if anything, can I do to fix this? Thanks for any help. Emily

Hi, I've been using Enpass since you guys started! For instance, back then when Yosemite was released you guys build a version without Mavericks support, I emailed, and in 2 days there was a mav build in the site! I tough: this is a company to be friends with! Indeed, it was a ride! But now I tried Enpass 6, and detested! The only backup I have is the one Enpass 6 did it (I formated the pc). How can I downgrade to Enpass 5? It is possible? I am almost setting up a bash gpg script to deal with my passwords.
