Hi, I'm giving Enpass a try out after many years with 1P, Migration was a bit messy, but I got there in the end. However, I'm trying to create a set of folders to manually categorise my collection, but I seem only to be able to create one root level folder, with any subsequent new folders being sub folders of that one. Deselecting it and trying to create a new folder results in nothing happening. The migration process managed to collect all the catergory names from 1P, I see in another post that a request has been made for 'smart' folders. Problem described in title. Using macOS Mojave, latest update. Enpass 6, latest update. Created a secondary vault and wanted to sync it to my Box account (free tier). Tried 3 times, same problem every time. I can see Enpass session in my Box profile -- successfully granted access to it. Any ideas?

Hello, I noticed that Enpass constantly use up to 3% of cpu when it simply stays in background. I made some tests and I discovered that cpu usage drop to 0 when I manualy sync the vault but after a while it goes up again and If I unlock the main app I can see the vault icon spinning again, meaning, I guess, it was trying to sync. I've been using webdav since some months and I've never noticed the issue before, when I was syncing with icloud, so maybe it's related to enpass struggling to sync with webdav when locked in background. It's not a big issue but maybe there is a bug there you can fix. Regards.

I've run across 2 bugs since updating to Enpass 6.5.0 (700). These aren't showstoppers, but they are super annoying. I am now unable to double-click on an item to edit it. Double-clicking an item does nothing. When viewing a record (not editing), multi-line fields now have a massive amount of space added to them. At first, I thought all the other fields were getting deleted, but figured out that I could scroll down to get to them. Confirmed both of these issues on two different Macs, one running 10.15 and the other running 10.14. Please fix ASAP! Thanks!

When right-clicking on an Item, the contextual menu does not include "Duplicate" or "Edit." Any action that can be taken (and especially everything in the Item menu) should be included in the contextual menu. (That's pretty much the point of right-clicking on anything — to see all the actions you can take.)

Since MacOS "BigSur" i noticed that Enpass's AppContainer ($HOME/Library/Containers/in.sinew.Enpass-Desktop/Data ,which stores the key vault and backups etc...) are marked "useless" and for deletion by MacOS's Systemprofilers suggestions to delete big/not often used files, which could be medium dangerous for your key vaults IF you follow it's suggestions blindly! Also for some reason the AppContainer shows up in the Finder's sidebar named "Local" !? So like the title says; i have enpass installed on multiple macs and on none, the keycombinations "COMMAND + Q" does anything.

I just updated my Enpass app from version 6.9.0 to 6.9.1 on my MacBook Air M1, macOS 13.5. If you have the items in your vault ordered alphabetically by title, you could easily navigate to a location in the list of items by just typing a letter on the keyboard. Enpass would then select and jump/scroll to the first item in the list that has its title start with that letter. E.g., if the item list has the keyboard focus and you press 'e', the first item in the list that has its title start with 'e' is selected and the list is automatically scrolled to the position of that item. I've been having problems saving new entries to Enpass. I will fill in the username or email address and generate a password. When I click sign-in the dialog box pops up and I click save. Everything appears to be working it is just that nothing is saved. The new entry is no where to be found. I'm using Nextcloud to store offline and the link to Nextcloud appears to be fine. I just tried to sync and that worked perfectly. Turned logging on and tried to save login credentials again, here is what I got. I've turned off all the auto-lock settings (see pic), yet the main Enpass app keeps on locking every time my computer sleeps. It only started happening recently. It's annoying. Is there any way to fix it?

A minor annoyance with Enpass v5.5.6 on macOS 10.12.5: Quit Enpass if it is running. Start Enpass through Spotlight, or from Finder The Enpass window shows, but the application is not in focus, which means that I can't type my password. I have to click into the Enpass window to activate the application so I can type my password. The expected behavior would be that when I start Enpass, that the application was active and I could immediately type my master password. Having to use the mouse to activate the application is annoying, since I have to move my hands off the keyboard (when starting Enpass through Spotlight, which I use all the time). …

I've come across yet another issue in the Mac version of Enpass. I've Reset Enpass and completely deleted it from my system and then reinstalled it from the App Store and still have the same issue. I open one of of the entries in my vault. I click the Copy icon next to the username, password, or website. The "Copied to Clipboard" toast type notification is displayed. Hello all, I have a MacBook Pro 15 (Big Sur) and an odd issue has begun where Enpass will work fine... until I close my laptop then reopen to use at some point. When I click on the Enpass icon in the menu bar, there are no items displayed, no passwords, but the application seems functional and I can navigate and even sync my vault. My passwords/items are visible again after I completely quit Enpass and sign back in, but this is very annoying since it defeats the point of having fingerprint. Does anyone have this issue or a fix?

Hi there, I often see a behavior of enpass which causes the keyboard not to work within enpass. When using enpass for quite some time it sometimes happens, that I can´t type any character into any field while enpass still react to mouse inputs and the keyboard still works in any other app. When this happens I have to close the enpass window (only the window not the app) and reenter my PIN in order to be able to type in characters into enpass again.

Eighty percent of the time, when I try to sync, either manually, or through the auto sync, to my iOS devices through Dropbox, I get a failure message that says an error occurred. The error code is: 208056 Anyone know what this is? Thank you in advance for your help.

It is an interesting bug. If you want to delete a word from the title which is not the last word, the deletion continues from the end of the title. I explain it... For example you have an item called "Enpass password". If you want to delete the "Enpass" word, move your cursor to after the last "s" letter and push the delete key several times. After you delete the "Enpass" the cursor goes to the end of the title and the deletion continues, so you start to delete the "password" word as well. I can find it only in the Title field and when you start the deletion exactly the end of the word. Please look at it.

I run Enpass on both my iPhone and my MacBook Air, databases are synchronized thru iCloud. Now, after not using the Macbook installed Engpass for quite a long time I seem to have forgotten the master password and can't log into the Mac OS database, yet I can still use Engpass on the iPhone using Touch ID for unlocking and have just backed up that database to iCloud. Is It possible to restore the database from the backup to the Mac OS installed Engpass? I imagine that first I have to delete the Engpass installation, then create a clean new installation and create a new master password. Hello, I'm using enpass 5 years already. About a month ago i started to use official enpass chrome extenssion. Everything was ok but now I'm getting a strage error. I'm affraid to use extenssion more, cause to lost all the passwords data. I formatted hdd and reinstalled OS X Mojave and all apps from the App Store. In the beginning it's working well, but then it’s repeating again. I tryed to google something but there is completely nothing about this issue Please help me

Is there a way to disable the Menubar icon whenever Enpass opens?

I have a Macbook Air with TouchID that I use to unlock enpass (great function!). However, whenever I connect my external monitors and close the Macbook (Clamshell mode), TouchID is disabled and I need to fill in my master password and I cannot use a pin. If I set a pin, TouchID is disabled again, so very inconvenient. Can you adjust the settings to be able to use pin and TouchID?
