Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions

I have been having this issue for some times now. When Enpass extension icon on Chrome is clicked, it flashes and nothing opens up, it works again after computer restarted then it stopped working again, sometimes closing Chrome will get extension working again. When this happened, I noticed auto save window pop up it looks big, display in low resolution and I cannot see save button. Sample picture is uploaded. I have uninstalled/reinstalled extension as well as Enpass application, uninstalled/installed Chrome without any success. This also happening after I change a new computer. Any idea how to solve this issue?

Hi, is there any chance to pick a preferred Enpass item for autofilling which is anytime choosen from Enpass? My situation - i have multiple accounts e.g. at google which are seldomly used and i want always to pick my main account instead of one of the seldomly used accounts. The account is reacheable / provide as choice, but first choice is another one. How can I achieve this? Austin?

Hi, I'm using the portable Thorium browser (Chromium based) with the latest version of the Enpass browser extension from google web store. The connection to the desktop app is working fine and I also can use the options from the Enpass main and context menu. But in the input fields I can't see the saved entries from Enpass. Here some screenshots from original chrome (where it is OK) and Thorium (where it is not) to show what I mean. Hello, for quite some time (1-3 months) I have a persisting issue, regardless of browser and pc. I have the latest Enpass Version (6.8.6 (1360)) installed on both systems (Win 11 Pro, 22H2, 22621.1848). One is a clean install, just fresh Windows from 2 days ago. Nothing else installed. Both Chrome and Edge show the same problem, with the extension installed from enpass.io direct links to the store pages. (V6.8.6) The problem is as follows: icloud.com autofill not working: email will be filled out, then NO more action is possible. Can't procede with ENTER, click on arrow or anything. Have to reload webpage to gain access to field again. …

Since one week my Enpass Firfox addon isn't working probably. Whenever I open the drop down window it's scaled down to 25% of the normal size and the the rest is colored red (see screenshot). However the mouse clicks are taken as if it would be displayed normally. Therefore, the addon is not usable anymore since I cannot click password entries, buttons etc. I already tried reinstalling the addon but the bug is still there. Does anyone has an idea what I could do?

When I use the edge browser to sign up for a site, and have enpass generate a password, enpass does not also ask to save the site. I have to separately open enpass, and create the site. It would be a lot easier to do this all in one step.

Hello, The version 6.8.6 of the MS Edge (Chromium) addon always replaces capital letters with lower case letters in the blacklist. This causes the blacklist to be ignored for some pages. This error can be very annoying if you blacklist pages. Has no one noticed this problem yet? (Enpass 6.9.0 1465 and Edge Addon Version 6.8.6) Greetings zoeck

After posting a request to sort multiple entries by date (downwards), so that the newest is on top, I was happy to see this in 6.8.2. Now, with the current version, this seems to be back to the old behaviour (mixed and never correctly sorted. Is this a bug or why was it removed?

Hey there. My bank recently updated their login page and now autofill is no longer fully working. After submitting the username manually a new page gets loaded. On that page you are required to input your password. Somehow autofill still works fine on that second page. I switched to Enpass because it annoys me that I'm supposed to store my data in a third-party cloud and can't choose which cloud. Also, do I have to pay monthly or annually. First up, the popup menu is very helpful but has some UX problems. Standard browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc sometimtes show up their own pop-out menu in a form. This behaviour should always be respected by an extension and check if the location of its own overlay should be placed elsewhere, e.g. above/below the browser menu, or show the inline icon in the form field. It also happens when the browser has it's own password filling active. The other issue is that if you have multiple logins to a form and the browser cookie remembers the username and autofills it, Enpass should pre-select this entry or move it to the top list. The …

This seems to be an old problem: ..but as I've just started using Home Assistant, I'm re-reporting it. I'm finding that Enpass won't autofill the username or password on either the webpage (using Edge on Windows 10 with Enpass 6.8.0 (1002)) or on my multiple Android devices using the Home Assistant app and Enpass 6.7.1.572. Login also includes TOTP so having Enpass not working is quite cumbersome. Home Assistant is a home automation system (https://www.home-assistant.io/) that you install and run. When the Chrome Browser Extension (Windows) is active, i can't submit the filled out field for the the Apple-ID-field on icloud.com.

the actually well described function does not work as specified. In the Chrome extension, the main domain is also suggested to me, so the autofill remains without function. you have to select the correct entry manually. example: maindomain.test.com subdomain.maindomain.test.com in each case without port specification. Hi there, I am running into some form issues since the last update in all browsers that have the enpass extension activated. When trying to fill a form (here a form to add a subdomain in a server software called LiveConfig) I have one input and two dropdown fields. As soon as I set the focus on the input field I am no longer able to use the dropdowns. When clicking on them the focus immediately goes back to the input field. When the extension is deactivated everything is working as expected. This is also happening on Windows machines. Please provide a fix for this. Thanks!

I've found at least one website that suddenly stopped working (not sure when, but the past weeks perhaps?) with inline autofill. I used to browse to avanza.se, press login and then click the username (användarnamn) field and it would prompt me my different logins, fill them and copy the OTP just perfectly, and now it doesnt work - what should I do? I tried adding a new login entry from the website but that didnt work either. Running latest chrome and browser extension.
