Feature requests

I would love to use Enpass for my everyday life and at work to share passwords with my teammates securely. But I don't want them to see my personal passwords obviously, so we need to create a second vault. Problem is that there is no way to open multiple vaults at a time.

Option to store (and protect of course) Pictures - Photos or Images on Enpass Store pictures like "Secure Photo" (mimiking Secure Note) or something like that Store pictures as "New Items" ... when you add a new item, another in the list can be "Picture" But even more, every type of added element should allow to add a picture, that's useful for example for when you add a credit card, a club card, a check, a bill, a handwritten note... etc. maybe allowing to add it as a "custom field" thought "add new field" action.... there is a "Field Type" Thats my request

It would be a perfect application if we could create our own templates and import custom logos

One thing I loved about 1Password in terms of it's UI was the fact that it grabbed the website favicon for any entries with a URL in them. That would eliminate (or replace) the need for specific icons and having to keep them updated or maintained. I think it'd be a nice addition to the UI for Enpass.

Hi, Currently, a large part of the unused space remains on the left. It would be better if formatting started from the left. Currently, the text is extremely narrow A great option would be to add some simple text formatting options eg. bold, italics etc.

Enpass doesn't work in Dex mode. Add this compatibility please.

Hi team, I recently got one of the new 8GB/RAM Raspberry Pi models and found it to be a quite nice minimal desktop experience. Unfortunately, I couldn't get very far with the tasks I was hoping to, as Enpass doesn't seem to support ARM on Linux yet. I'd love to see an ARM build published in the APT/YUM repos - unless I'm thoroughly mistaken about your codebase, it may be a just as simple as recompiling your current Linux build for ARM. I think over the next few years as we start to see more ARM machines come onto market you'll find more and more developer customers requesting this feature. There is another topic asking for SSH Agent support. Unfortunately, the topic has been already closed without further information whether this will be implemented or not. I would really love to have SSH Agent support in Enpass. My expected behavior of this implementation would be Enpass asking me to unlock the Vault once an SSH Agent request is made (just like auto fill in the browser extension) and then accepting the SSH Agent connection. Is this on the list to be implemented?

Passkeys are foreseen as the future and are meant to end passwords as we know them. Still, they have one major pitfall: cross platform sync. I strongly believe that Enpass should hop on this train and support it asap. As i have been using enpass for past several months i even got to know about enpass key file to enhance vault security but there are still few concerns which i am about to share. 1: for security new users do not know about enpass key and once a new user have created primary vault then it is almost not possible for them to move to another vault and keep primary vault without enpass key. There is no option to set or change default primary vault if i want to. 2: Even if you have created primary vault with enpass key it can be hacked very easily. I'm loving Enpass and would appreciate a portable version of the desktop manager that can be used without administrative privileges (for those of us who want to use in an environment without such privileges - i.e. at work or at a library). I don't think that's counter-intuitive to the basis for EPM - i.e. to store passwords locally - as I believe those could be stored on a USB and/or synced/pulled with/from one's cloud storage syncing solution of choice. At this point Enpass works on "most" distributions, but not on all of them. Also, there is the need to add a repository and then install the application. My request is to make Enpass available as a AppImage, snap or flatpak. This way the support for Linux can be improved! I would suggest to use AppImage or Flatpak, since snap = canonical controlled.

Hi, I recently dropped Lastpass in favor of Enpass 6, and so far I'm loving it. However a feature that can be improved, especially for power users, is the webform mapping screen. I am currently using the Windows 10 version and the relationships between form fields and enpass items seem to be read-only (apart from selecting a item field to map to) and can only be captured by browser extensions. A lot of those fields are required during sign-up, but not for further logins. I would like to have the ability to manually edit the webform mappings. I come from 1password and looking to suggest improvements. I'll go directly to point. For macos+iOS need cmd+O to anchor an entry when using the Enpass assisstant. THis is how it works on 1password I think you need to do similar to 1password where you have "quit EnPass" and "quit Enpass completely" the second kills the assisstant app (mini) no need to show the app in the dock OR toolbar. Would it be possible to either release a command line client or enable command line access to the vault? Without it Enpass becomes a lot less useful for me.

Steam implements TOTP with a different alphabet. The basic algorithm seems to be the same as usual TOTP, but the representation of the token is different. Hi, bring back the folders of the previous version. Using tags instead of folders makes no sense. That's the worst decision ever to remove this feature.

Hello! Since I upgraded macOS to the Big Sur release, Enpass starts on user login with its main window open in the center of the screen. Could you please fix it? AFAIR it used to open in the menu bar on startup, but now the main window opens as well. Thanks! Best regards, Mariusz Schimke

Hi, When I open Enpass, I am now met with a large, intrusive display showing the results of the Audit, in four sections (Compromised, Identical, Weak, Expired). While the Audit is a useful feature, I do not want to look at it every time I open password, or open an item. Can you add the option not to automatically display the Audit results? It would be helpful if I had the option to only display the results when I turn the feature on. Else it is a distraction, and actually trains me to ignore the warnings, as they are always present. It would be nice to be able to create, change, edit the Types / Category Templates in Enpass. Currently I use mSecure, but am looking to make a switch. I really like that mSecure is more like a custom secure database builder than just a secure password saver, and I think Enpass has the potential to be better than mSecure, but being able to edit the Types / Category Templates is one thing Enpass desperately needs. I know you can add fields to each item when you create them, but I'd really like to set custom templates for items to use and get rid of the ones I don't want. Hello I would like to sync vaults using pCloud. But, when 2FA is enabled on pCloud, it is not possible to use the WebDAV protocol for synchronisation. It would be great to have proper pCloud integration in Enpass for a more secure and convenient way to synchronise vaults. I'm aware this feature has already been requested here and here. Since the first request was in 2017, I would just like to register more support for this. Many thanks

Just bought a Lenovo laptop with a fingerprint reader that works great for logging in. I would love to be able to use it for Enpass! Happy to be a beta tester or work with the engineers to develop the feature (I'm a programmer)
